| 6 | Did you see red flags in your inlaws, specifically your ex-MIL?Dude yes. My stbx mil divorced her husband and left him hundreds of thousands in debt with the irs. My stbxw always bragged about how she learned to forge things from her. How she would hear he mom lie to her dad to protect him from stuff like she did me supposedly that’s how she justified it. And the entitlement was nuts. Among other things. The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree. | /r/Divorce_Men | 04/02/24 05:53 PM |
| 6 | It’s sad…I was never engaged. We were at the court house for a ticket of hers. And she saw a sign about court house marriages. She turned to me and said want to get married. She was pregnant at the time. And didn’t want to be like my father. 14 kids from 6 different woman. So I said sure. An hour later we were married. No pics, only witnesses were court employees. Needless to say we’re in the process of divorce now. | /r/Divorce_Men | 02/01/24 02:07 AM |
| 1 | It’s been 4 months, why does it feel worse?I can relate. But a little differently. For me. In the past couple years. I will be watching something random or hear again something random and I get this overwhelming emotional response. I will have a knot in my throat and tears in my eyes. I’ve swallowed and pushed down so much over my life that it’s just bubbling at the surface. I haven’t taken the proper steps to process yet unfortunately. So I recommend you do cause it’s like acid to ur mental well being. | /r/Divorce_Men | 25/08/23 01:30 PM |
