Yeah but in my country I have to pay money to send messages via the normal text messaging app, unless i turn on the online feature. Also, does asking for a number decrease the chance of getting any sort of contact info, because it's more "personal"?

basically an approach where you don't look for signals to take initiative, for example, you see a girl you like and you just approach her, even if she doesn't show any signs (like making eye contact with you sometimes), if that makes sense?
