Oh sorry I’m still new to certain Reddit terms.

Just because I’m apart of r/arethestraightsok doesn’t mean I’m trying to bait anyone. Also as a trans MAN I think it’s perfectly valid to question if I would be apart of this community because their are certain communities that are very transphobic. I’m glad to say for the most part this one isn’t. Also “it’s a trans” is bad grammar and just plain rude.

The opposition isn’t confident a valid study because it’s been proven wrong so many times before. Saying that is like saying we oppress the people who try to prove that vaccines cause autism when anyone with more than 2 brain cells knows that’s not true because it’s been proven. Your argument is pointless because you aren’t looking at the facts, you are just upset that science doesn’t support your transphobic viewpoint. So, rather than becoming more open minded you blame everything on the leftis…

First of all using the word “transgenders” is wrong it’s transgender people. Secondly trans people aren’t mentally ill; in fact being transgender has been removed from the world health organization as a mental illness. Thirdly you say you are fine with trans people and this say stuff like that, if your transphobic just own your transphobia it will save everyone a lot of time. Finally here’s a list of articles that prove what you have said is wrong. Also scientists aren’t being forced to be polit…

You know though cisgender is a scientific term that has been used for decades; the same thing goes for assigned gender at birth. These are some leftist cult propaganda they are medical terms.

Since you still probably don’t believe me here’s several papers and articles that scientifically prove what you’re say is wrong. This isn’t just my opinion it’s facts. https://cafemom.com/parenting/129287-are_straight_teens_being_influenced https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/books/NBK64808/ https://www.washingtonpost.com/lifestyle/2019/09/20/importance-social-media-when-it-comes-lgbtq-kids-feeling-seen/?outputType=amp https://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2017/08/170815095159.htm https://scholarworks.…

You know there’s more to being a woman than getting pregnant right. There are cis women who don’t get periods and can’t get pregnant my moms a modern example of that. Also I do know what I’m talking about 1) because I’m a trans man, and 2) because I’m literally a college student whose majoring in biology. This is basic stuff that I was taught in junior year of high school.

Like I said above sex is more complex than people think. It’s a process that can occur due to specific genes being turned off and on. Now I’ll say this: gender and sex are not the same things, it’s a fact that has been scientifically proven. To make it easily visualized lets take a look at the biology. Sex equals two things chromosomes and primary sex characteristics, which is being born with a penis or vagina. However, as previously established chromosomes are a lot more complex than XX and XY …

I appreciate you trying not to discriminate against trans people because you don’t agree with them. However, if you have a trans friend then I think it’s better to outright tell them you don’t agree with their existence, so if along the lines they found out you think this way and then they assume you we’re lying to their face about caring about them. Like I said in the comment below trans people do exist and it’s not just a feeling that makes them trans, as I elaborated below. If you want solid …

I just mean to think men’s rights should apply to them.

Actually it’s been scientifically proven that trans people exist. There’s no pretending to be a man by trans men. The brain itself have a biological gender, which is different from sex, as female and males do have a different brain structures. Trans men have a brain structure similar to that of a cis male. It’s not a feeling because it’s in their biology, they feel they way they feel because their brain doesn’t match their body. Interestingly enough female/male sex does not not always equate to …
