It started during the first lockdowns (everywhere closed) but if I were single I'd definitely keep doing them. Admittedly I can only remember a couple on freezing days but obviously you can wrap up, bring/buy a hot drink, etc. So maybe not ideal during cold months but perfectly fine during warmer months.
