I think it's most probable that I don't know them. It's quite a large university.

Yep. Anti-degeneracy and have pragmatic leftist policies. The best of both: socially conservative, economically leftist.

I'm mostly kidding too, but it's a real question. Are Catholics just virgins because the of the Church or do they genuinely believe it's a better way to live life?

So the only thing keeping you from being a slut is the fear of God? That's pretty sad.

Not if you don't know his net worth beforehand.

I agree, but it does take a lot of the pressure off them.

I honestly don't think this is true.

Yeah I know, he's the CEO of Alphabet. I thought you were talking in terms of aesthetics, not assets.

I support this. Too many women looking for a "good time". So short sighted. Would you hold the same views if you weren't Catholic?
/r/PurplePillDebate06/05/20 05:51 PM

Yep. At what point do you say it's not worth it?

Constantly asking if I'm hungry or thirsty or tired Wtf? Is she an adult or a child? God I hope my future partner never wants me to treat her like this. This shit is fucking childish.

In my view, if I want a girl to be my girlfriend, I am 100% committed. To be fair I am very picky, and I am not attracted to any girl that I couldn't see living the rest of my life with. It just seems unnecessary to chase if you both have mutual attraction and are both interested in a relationship.

Ok, to be fair I am very hardline. I've never had a drink, don't do drugs, and I don't party. Trying to find a college girl that matches my values is incredibly difficult. It also doesn't help that there is a lot of international students at my school (who want nothing to do with the domestic students), so my pool of women is really quite small. I don't really mind at the moment though since I'm not really looking for anything at the moment. Just an observation.

Ok, so it's defensive? I personally hate the "chase", just seems like a waste of time that could be spent on better things, for both parties involved.

Oh I have no problem with the cold fish approach if you're actually not into the guy. That's a good sign! The problem I've seen is that women have the cold fish approach to anyone they first talk to. My friend experienced this first hand; talked to a girl at a party, she was cold, a few weeks later they're a couple, and now it's been a year and they're a very happy couple. So why was she cold in the beginning of she obviously found him attractive? It makes no sense to me.

Interesting. Even 19-20 year old girls are confident like this?
/r/PurplePillDebate06/05/20 04:31 PM
2

Hold on though, I'm not talking "throw themselves", I just mean show the smallest amount of reciprocity in a conversation, and not stand there like a cold fish.

Free speech is antithetical to a harmonized, well functioning society.

But the difference is that they can be pursued while focusing on other things. On the flipside, I am focusing on other things (school, athletics, research), but I know that there is 0 chance that I will be pursued during this time, since I am not actively seeking a girlfriend.

That's honestly quite amazing. Almost like a super power.

Man, I wish that were the case at my school. It's weird because it's a pretty highly ranked university, so everyone is reasonably intelligent, but they're still degenerate. Even the female "nerds" that I know party every week, and I've heard many unsavory stories about their hookups.

I'm not saying I would expect more women to "chase" or anything, I just mean initiate some sort of conversation, however innocuous. I've witnessed so many times where women just stand there like a cold fish when some guy tries to talk to them. Funnily enough, these same cold women end up in LTRs with the guys they barely wanted to talk to originally!

Really? Whereabouts are you from? In North America that's certainly not the case...

To be honest with you must college girls are such sluts these days I don't see why it would matter. These girls aren't my cup of tea obviously, but why would they be hesitant to look "easy" when it's widely known that they're sleeping with a different guy every weekend. It's gotta be something else

It's kinda hard for me to wrap my head around this; So you think to yourself "hey, that guy's attractive", and every time, that same guy approaches you? Are you ever attracted to someone who completely ignores you?
/r/PurplePillDebate06/05/20 03:50 PM
2

"Baseline level of attraction". How is this gauged without the other person interacting with you? Most of the interactions I've seen of myself and my friends are very cold.

Always?
/r/PurplePillDebate06/05/20 03:46 PM

Yeah maybe they don't, but I find it hard to believe that we're all incredibly repulsive. By multiple I mean one after the other. Not at the same time So they pursue a girl for a month, go on a few "dates", she ghosts, then they start again with another girl.

The thing is I rarely see flirting anymore either. Most of my friends just need to take a shot in the dark
/r/PurplePillDebate06/05/20 03:17 PM

True. But why not every once in a while? It seems like a severe lack of agency...just waiting and hoping to be chosen...
/r/PurplePillDebate06/05/20 03:15 PM

Not regularly. Party culture is pretty degenerate but I do go to other social events that aren't night life.
