I try to sense the overall vibe of any online place and try to never go against what seems to be the general consensus. Any kind of going against the group think results in those kinds of effects. Sometimes I fuck up and post a disagreement anyway and it usually gets ppl hating me then I delete my account and leave for a while, only to forget about it and come back and the cycle repeats.

It’s not workaholism. Workaholism is a real thing when people use work to avoid their real emotional problems. Japan has a work together culture. They clean the schools as kids etc. everything is done together. It’s about being together not about escaping difficult emotions.

I’ve checked out of western society long ago. Just living for myself is way way better than trying to do the Olympic Games that is pursuing and keeping a woman. It’s always been this way. It’s just now society is pushing women into work as if working is some great privilege. They are discovering that work mostly sucks. Discovering this, but still believing it’s empowering to work, but wanting their privilege still, they get more benefits than men. This way the cognitive dissonance is eased. I’m a world leaver. I’ve checked out long ago. These things don’t bug me anymore. It’s kind of like seeing kids play games. I’m like, you kids have fun now.
