There's a flaw in your logic. Americans pursuing fertility treatments are more likely to be going for a girl IF they already have a male child. If this is the only metric, with no counteracting trend with couples who have a female child, the average is still weighted towards female children, because 'no tendency in either direction' of childless couples doesn't alter the average either way.

There's likely plenty. In general, everyone deserves respect until proven otherwise, and remember, actors and actresses are just that, people who are paid to fill a role. I'm more than willing to hold judgement until she starts using her position as a springboard to activism. The people who really deserve the scorn are those who fund and produce tripe like this, not the people in front of the camera.

Personally, I dislike that title for two reasons. First being, waitstaff do far more than just serve food in most venues. Second being that when a server dies from overheating, my first instinct is to clean out dust from the airways and give it a reboot. I really don't want to give that advice to a manager who just saw an employee die.

The problem with this analogy is that your joke is usually used to express a personal preference, and The OP's post doesn't do that. It explicitly says that rich men are better than poor ones. I'm not offended if someone says I like my men like my coffee, a tall order/black/small/in a group of four etc, because we all have the right to have turn ons and turn offs when it comes to maximizing sexual pleasure.

Surveys? no, surveys are for statisistical gathering, and inherent characteristics can change the percentages a lot. For CVs, sure, being able to leave off irrelevant inherent characteristics should be encouraged. It would be an interesting experiment to see if degendering a CV would alter interview invitations.

In at least one way, it is. It's the easiest way for someone to jail another human, just with access to their computer or a private location, one could plant any amount of cp and then report it. Even without a conviction, just the allegation would ruin someone, and enable complete and irreversable loss of their children. It's like a kilo of meth that you can download.
