I don't know what that means; "To play it out." What does that mean? ....fucking thing sucks!

Just like every other women on this planet, you claim to want someone nice while your actions speak otherwise.

So you're implying that lust in men can be so powerful that it could lead to deviancy/misbehaviors with women? I've always used this argument to forgive the kind of people that end up on r/niceguys, because they're so horny out of their minds that they end up texting dumb shit to random women. Women don't like that argument though.

I don't care what you find creepy. If I see a trend, I can comment on it, and that's precisely what I've done. You're not on FDS where you get a standing ovation every time you call a man creepy. You're on a debate platform. You don't get points for being snarky here. Your argument about how timidity isn't equal to being nice is something I often hear from women who don't want to acknowledge how morally bankrupt their dating choices are, and it just makes me laugh. For example, let's say you wer…

The problem is that her situation isn't as unique as you make it out to be. I'm going to extend an olive branch and tell you that I do believe that your average woman wants a guy who is nice and respectful and empathetic. But this is only after she has spent most her youth chasing after men who are the embodiment of many of the characteristics that come under the dark triad. I have no doubt that as women get older and more experienced their preferences shift, but still, men will have to deal wit…

Sure. But if dating problems aren't problems, then why do women care about slut-shaming so much?

You said something in your comment about how a man's dating problems shouldn't be treated as problems. I just wanted to know why you think women fight so hard for fat women to be seen as attractive even when they're not. It seems like you do care about certain dating problems, just not those that affect men.

There's a certain level of cognitive dissonance that you have to live in to be so unwilling to accept any level of scientific evidence. The reason I used so many links is because women won't even accept the fact that there is such a trend if I didn't do so, because they're so concerned with invalidating male suffering. I don't know if you're some kind of ideological puritan, but when a woman complains under the banner of feminism that she has random piece of evidence to accredit her individual e…

Are you reading the same articles that I am? Women aren't accidently stumbling into assholes and dating them out of sheer coincidence. They are actively seeking them out. So to be believe the idea that women are being manipulated, I'll have to believe (without evidence) that they're the gullible idiots that you're making them out to be. None of my articles were talking about special cases. They were talking about the tastes and preferences of women in general. And the problem with that is that w…

I never divided the world into nice guys and jerks. That's a strawman of an argument. I'm saying many of the traits and characteristics that are associated with jerks are what women want when they look for partners for casual sex. You don't need to simplify my arguments to absurd levels just because you want a better shot at making me look bad, lol. I also don't really care about your anecdotes. I provided you with hard evidence for the fact that women are into men who are complete jerks. Don't …

It couldn't possible be the case that this anecdote is indicative of any trend in real life, right? Sure. That doesn't require any contradiction. not from me, at least. I thought you were implying that a person's assholishness isn't what gets them laid, because there's enough evidence to either disprove or at least contend that.

Yes. You made the argument that "sluts are bad people for not rewarding my specialness", which is a common caricature that feminists use to make the claim that nice guys believe they're entitled to sex. On the other hand, if you're implying that "the idea that nice guys don't get laid is just something losers created to make themselves feel better", then I have enough proof to debunk that too. http://www.newsweek.com/study-finds-men-nice-women-not-other-way-around-261269 https://www.researchgate…

But you don't view all whiners the same way, do you? It doesn't have to be you, but the same feminists that call 'nice guys' complaining about inequities in the dating market "whiners" are the same ones who express sympathy for plus-sized women who want to be seen as beautiful and attractive. It's not that women don't want to acknowledge certain problems in the dating realm, just not those that affect men.

Your opinion doesn't hold weight. It seems like you've just reverted to the whole "men are just entitled to sex!" argument. This argument, in response to men complaining about inequities in the dating market, is one that I find rather pointless. If feminists want to see the negative reinforcement towards sex-seeking women as a problem that needs to be solved, then so should the negative reinforcement that happens towards men who seek the same kind of sex. Exactly. This has always been the problem. The idea that you have to be "nice" in order to get laid is reinforced by women who try to defend their own dating choices. "Why can't I get laid if I'm a nice person?" asks the guy who's perma-single. "Maybe it's because you're not as nice as you think." replies the feminist. Both of these people end up reinforcing the same false narrative, which is that virtue is rewarded in the dating market.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/01/21 04:16 AM

That isn't true. Even between assholes and non-assholes with the same level of charisma. the asshole is much more likely to get laid. Women actively seek out men with dark triad characteristics. https://www.timesofisrael.com/women-really-dont-go-for-nice-guys-study-indicates/ http://www.newsweek.com/study-finds-men-nice-women-not-other-way-around-261269

This is hilarious. Every single feminist space I go to, all they talk about is how great sex-positivity is and how much they like taking dick. I've always believed women are prudes, but they simply don't admit it.

women report feeling degraded by it Can you give me a source for this? I was having a debate with a woman over this. She was vehemently trying to disagree that women are often prudes about casual sex and felt degraded by it (which was my argument).

We will now perform an ancient and traditional ritual, where I point out something I don’t like about feminism, then everyone tells me that no feminist would ever do that and it’s a dirty rotten straw man. And then I link to two thousand five hundred examples of feminists doing exactly that, and then everyone No-True-Scotsmans me by saying that that doesn’t count and those people aren’t representative of feminists. And then I find two thousand five hundred more examples of the most prominent and…

Where are they exactly? Name one of them that is prominent? Did you click any of the comments I linked to the feminist subreddits? they're all trying desperately to defend the idea that women would love to date nice men. when you make the attempt to ridicule nice guys for believing being nice is what isn't getting them laid, then the inferable conclusion is that virtue is very important to women in the dating market. Sure, but then you'd have to argue positive traits play a role in a woman's dating choices, which I've already proved isn't the case. Believe it or not, I choose not to view women as gullible morons and instead view them as rational agents in charge of their own choices, and 9/10, they would rather date the asshole than the nice guy. You're arguing that assholes just get more sex because they ask women out more, but then you're throwing out the entire idea that personality traits actually do pla…

So in all cases where women reject nice guys, it's because they're not emotionally ready for a relationship, except until they meet an asshole, after which they're conveniently very open to one?
/r/PurplePillDebate22/01/21 03:03 AM
1

Okay, listen very carefully to what I have to say. Your anecdotal example has nothing to do with reality. In the real world, men can be as misogynistic and toxic as they want and they will still end up getting laid much more than the average nice guy. Women actively reject men who are nice to them. At the end of your comment, you said this. In my experience, there is no way in hell a guy that is all around nice would not be getting laid. Something has to be an issue. It's because of women like y…

Where exactly does society tell you otherwise? Women who defend the "virtue is a gateway to sexual success" narrative, media where the good guy hero wins the woman's heart and the women are wonderful effect that gives sufficient energy to the idea that women, and their dating choices in extension, are morally infallible. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Women-are-wonderful_effect#:~:text=The%20women%2Dare%2Dwonderful%20effect,women%20as%20a%20general%20case.

try referring to the red pill in a way that's even remotely positive in a feminist subreddit and see how fast you get banned. the basic narrative of the red pill is that assholes and jerks have a better chance of getting laid than women. this is something feminists constantly try to to argue against by claiming it's just something that bitter men come up with to make themselves feel better. have you ever been to a feminist subreddit, my friend? https://www.reddit.com/r/AskFeminists/comments/kl88…

That's a straw-woman that you've created so you can easily knock down. What's a straw-man? Have you never heard the response "maybe the reason you're not getting laid is because you're not as nice as you think" Most women don't care what you've done if you play no role in their lives. Where you've come from and where you are now is irrelevant to them. That's not what I meant at all. The above examples I listed are just a few out of the many dishonest conversation tactics that women use against men when talking about 'nice guys'. Just think about this. What's the average response that a man gets for asking the question "Why can't I have sex if I'm a nice person?" The response is nearly always "Maybe you're not as nice as you think." Both of these people end up contributing to the same false narrative. Which is the personal virtue is rewarded in the dating market.

Sure, I don't disagree, I never mentioned niceness has anything to do with people getting laid. I'm just saying there are trends in the dating market, and there's similarities in what women find attractive in men. It's not a mistake to see female tastes on a general level rather than an individual one.

Tell me what I said wrong. Because I don't understand. I genuinely don't. Are you telling me there's no women trying to defend and propagate the idea that they're into 'nice' men? I don't know. All I know is that the visuals of the movie directly contradicts it's messaging, and it's possible this was deliberate choice they made to package the film as something innocent in order to deliver exploitative content to mainstream audiences. And what's your excuse for what she's done? Trying to make a movie about how sexualizing children is bad, by actually sexualizing the child actors of the movie is the definition of hypocrisy. I just keep being reminded of how the director of the Babadook handled the main child actor. The boy was explicitly kept off set for any scenes depicting child abuse. Well, the problem is that quite a few of the articles I posted do not differentiate between sexual appeal for either dating or sex. In fact, they explicitly state that sexual attraction is a necessary factor for compatibility between partners. The personality traits that are commonly associated with men who are the opposite of caring and compassionate are themselves the stimuli that women are sexually aroused by.

"even if they intuitively know how a woman should be treated, they start to think that disrespecting her is a way to go" I would agree with you if the latter wasn't true.
