I feel like girls don't overlook them. We know!
/r/seduction15/10/19 06:57 AM

I think this is a really attractive quality in a guy too. Restraint reads as respectfulness and makes me feel safe / not on defense for them to be pushing me for advancement, whether its physical or emotional.

Yeah.. I really like a lot of the posts / comments I see on this sub where guys are supporting each other. There's super well thought out insights and knowledge sharing. But then there are also so many gross comments like that one that show the guys on here that are just actually mean and sexist.

The way men talk on this sub about women makes me not feel bad for how lonely and desperate they are.
/r/seduction07/10/19 06:02 AM

I'm not sure what the question is that you're asking. Sounds like you have a pretty well defined idea of your position in the dating world and the options you have. There are lots of awesome autistic girls who you might have a lot in common with.

What brings me here is that I find it interesting and feel like there are questions on here that I can provide a helpful perspective on.

Well just having a FWB is nothing to feel guilty about. So long as its consensual

Her goal is probably to avoid feeling shitty. If she likes you and hooks up with you too early you might play her and make her feel bad about herself- but if she doesn't like you and hooks up with you she will feel gross and thus bad about herself. FWB are for luke warm connections in between those two examples.

:( I believe in you. Also, I'm glad you have friends in your life. You sound like a sweet person.

Oh if it's IRL with the playful tone then that's super cool. Yesysyeysysyeysyes. But you've gotta hit it with the right kind of playful glance that alludes that you mean the opposite of what you've said, haha. IRL those lines are the cutest.

Hm, if I said "I know you're not that boring" to a guy, I would want him to be all like "Haha, Oh do you? I do better in person. Let me show you over a drink later."

I agree with throwaway that both of those things are too harsh. If a guy says something like that to me I don't respond. I get that type of approach sometimes and I find it cringey bc it reads as them being insecure and not confident enough to be direct about the fact that they're interested in me.

As a girl who gets a shit ton of messages from guys on tinder and hardly responds - I love this. I would totally respond bc it shows the guy isn't afraid of saying what's on his mind and keeping it interesting. Plus if it slightly offended me I would probably wanna fire back and then playful teasing is pretty attractive.

Yeah, maybe I have an acute sense of smell, or maybe it's some freaky pheromone voodoo. But every time I've been seriously attracted to a man, his smell is immediately noticeable to me upon meeting. Like its so good, overpowering in the best way, and intoxicating. This is rare, granted- happened only twice I can think of (i'm 23). And I've been like "wow, you smell so good. Its crazy. Why?" because I seriously thought it must've been like incense on their clothing or sap from chopping wood or so…

Lol I love that you called them my sisters. I think aftershave is fine... and the cologne thing - I guess I hear it mainly from girls like myself who don't wear perfume or tons of make up. The smell of someone is a huge part of attraction. If I'm attracted to someone I crave their smell and thats not possible if they're wearing cologne that clouds their own scent. Plus they might be covering something up which is icky.

To me one of the most masculine things is not caring about what people think of you. I'm so attracted to that in guys. Just a whatever attitude and not trying to impress ANYONE. Trying hard in any way is an extreme turn off. Lots of things can signal a try hard. Wearing chains and cologne is a signal of a try hard. But there are plenty of "manly" men who are try hards too. They pride themselves in hunting and drinking beer and being "the provider" but all of the effort to put off that persona ju…

Depends on the level of unattractive. If he was well kept (clean) and smiled, it would still go well. If he wasn't well kept and/or didn't smile, it would feel threatening and be uncomfortable.

There's obviously a lot of women haters on this sub and it's stupid. I've been observing this sub for a while too, and I wish it was less shitty because it really is interesting.

Depends on the level of non-handsome. If he looks clean and smiles, then it will go fine. Smiling is huge. If he isn't well kept and/or doesn't smile, it feels threatening and is uncomfortable.

Openly talking about turn ons in a way where it's not about turning each other on, just learning about each other. Being vulnerable and honest like that escalates it to a really comfortable sexy exciting place.

Ask her questions about herself. ASK HER QUESTIONS ABOUT HERSELF. Ugh, need to repeat this for the homies in the back. ASK QUESTIONS. Don't make her feel like she needs to carry the conversation by deciding what to talk about. Ask her about every stupid thing in front of you. What she cooks (if she cooks), her number of siblings, does she like having a pet, where is she from, her beverage of choice, favorite netflix shows... Literally doesn't matter. Make her feel like you find her interesting.

It's always a gamble. As I hetero girl I struggle with this as well. I've had it be kinda weird pics but then turn out it's someone extremely attractive and good pics turning out to be someone totally lame. It's a risk every time unless you swap snap accounts first and send more pics which is what I prefer to do.

Solid feedback. I echo everything they said. The line between showing interest and clinginess was crossed. But don't worry about it OP, it just wasn't meant to be.
