As an older woman myself, my standards went up because I was a late learner. It had nothing to do with baggage or inflated ego, I just realized at 44 that I was underselling myself and I corrected that. Promptly got on OLD and met the love of my life, all is good, I want to go back in time and slap my younger self for being so dumb. But the real issue here is not Me, it's younger people selling themselves short and ending up bitter because they picked badly. Never settle.

OK, that makes sense. It just seems weird to check credit score when you are not in a car dealership.

Yes, he told his stories of past wives and girlfriends and we all know what type he likes. But just as many women have tales of woe and inconvenience.

women tend to be social creatures, so as a general rule they won't devote long periods of time to activities that aren't social So why do women comprise most of the book readers? We gals LOVE novels and men think they are boring. Reading is not a social activity at all.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/11/20 11:48 PM

We're only seeing them now transition to videogames because they're social creatures and follow trends, now videogames and nerd culture are socially acceptable. No, women are just motivated by different things. When I played WoW I enjoyed the quests where I gathered things like fruit or eggs or herbs. I liked exploring the world and making stuff and selling it. A big part of the game for me was NOT competition or winning, which is more important to men.

I got heavy in to World of Warcraft years ago when I was depressed. It offered an escape from reality...but I dropped it once my life improved. Playing games is fine, we just don't want it to define a man. After a certain age he needs to work on something else in his spare time.

It honestly depends on her self awareness. If she thinks every single man who is nice to her is Hawt For Her Body, then she is just conceited.

Before my glow-up I was more desperate, sure. I was also a teenager and very insecure...which had WAY more effect on who I dated. Insecure people pick low hanging fruit.

Chris Watts is pretty clearly a sociopath and no matter what the dead wife was like (I have heard she was bossy and bitchy) there was no reason to murder her. Plus- what the hell? His girlfriend was not even prettier than Shannan.

"Men rely on the fact that all marriage contracts last forever. However, if marriage contracts were 3-5 year terms with options to renew, It would incentivize men to take more effort in the relationship." See how easy it was to gender flip this nonsense?

In my many, many years on this earth I have seen just as many examples of hypogamy as hypergamy so they both exist. Some gals are just bossy, they like men they can fix, so they marry a meek yes-man who is objectively beneath them. Maybe he makes her laugh. Who knows, people are odd.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/09/20 11:25 PM

Sure, but women rarely date down financially. I have seen it plenty of times, even my best friend did this.

Gotta piggyback off this comment that "types" are a real thing and so there is not just 20% of men who get women who are genuinely attracted to them, there are vast swaths of men that only certain girls find hot.

I have been on this subreddit for years. Years. The 30+ ladies here (for what I know) are either married or divorced with few exceptions...I am one of the exceptions. None of them have confessed to AFBB. None of them married a Beta or a man they did not love. Some of them married quite young. No one has said she is done messing around and wants to find a man who will treat her right. None.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/09/20 04:34 AM
1

I imagine it happens a lot based on what women on here write. Ride the CC, then after they are ready to settle down find the Betabux man, make him wait etc. Who here confesses to doing this? Who?
/r/PurplePillDebate28/09/20 02:12 AM
2

Yes, and at my Christian university there was a high divorce rate for all this rushed marriages. We watched it break down.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/09/20 12:12 AM
2

Yup, this mirrors what I have seen. Huge massive disappointments that wreck the marriage. Closet gays. Closet everything. Just a horrid way to find out, when you are legally bound.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/09/20 06:36 PM
6

I have strict religious beliefs about sex and even I can see how badly the Waiting Until Marriage can go. More than one friend has done this only to find out they married a frigid wife who never wants sex, or she married a sex pervert who fucks around, or that rushing into marriage just to get sex meant they married someone horrible.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/09/20 06:29 PM

That conversation made me want to blow my brains out, but she was right. LOL yes I can see why. Do not picture it.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/09/20 06:22 PM
2

I also have seen some pretty big problems arise from waiting, So have I, but I am curious what your stories are.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/09/20 06:21 PM
2

Of course. I went through an angry phase when I was younger, pissed because my own religion puts me in a second-tier position. Marriage was pushed at me as this lordship situation wherein I would be a "help mate" and not a full adult. Why would anyone want that? So I refused to get married. Now the I am older I have made peace with the unfairness of the world and with my own religion. So what if women are made into second class citizens? I can live my life as I choose, being unmarried and theref…

There is no contradiction here, Christianity is sexist by nature. A lot of my beliefs are going to follow that, whether I like it or not.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/09/20 05:14 PM
1

How so?
/r/PurplePillDebate27/09/20 04:06 PM
1

Nope, and this was a big contributing factor in my decision.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/09/20 03:59 PM
3

In the Christian tradition yes, marriage is totally sexist. Gender roles are enforced and the husband rules over the wife. Source: Christian.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/09/20 03:27 PM
4

But do you not see the selfishness of a man who will not pay for his own child?
/r/PurplePillDebate26/09/20 11:03 PM

Seriously though, if women did not have any protection from pregnancy and men could not be forced to pay for their own kids, women would go Nun and live without male company.

In college I was an activist who protested in front of abortion clinics and yelled through the megaphone before that was banned. We had a secret headquarters up in the mountains and everything- it was well financed by rich Christians. After awhile I switched to other forms of Christian activism before I grew up and realized that this was all counter productive. Now I quietly hold my beliefs until posting on Reddit.

Yep.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/09/20 07:15 PM

Good article, upvote for you, but she never explains why abortion is bad under her atheist moral code. Why is killing bad at all? Why is anything bad? There is no basis for morality. Just opinions.

I do not know a single pro-lifer who is not church-going and religious.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/09/20 06:50 PM
8

Religion.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/09/20 06:45 PM
1

The only reason I am pro-life is religion. That's it. So I agree with OP that the RP crowd (who have demonstrated vast atheism or whatever allows them to sleep around) should favor abortion as it serves the male imperative.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/09/20 06:31 PM
8

Men who conceive a child out of wedlock should be allowed to legally divest themselves of legal/financial responsibility. Abortion rates would skyrocket.

I don't know any woman who is struggling to unlearn manipulative behaviors. They are either manipulative and love it, or they are sweet and genuine and never learned to manipulate anyway.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/09/20 05:41 PM

and women, therefore, find that they are struggling to unlearn these manipulative behaviors. This is the majority of women? Come on.

But in trad culture no one gets sympathy. You have to stay married even if one spouse is throwing knives and the other one is doing blow off the kitchen counter.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/09/20 07:16 PM

The weird part is that you really seem to believe what you just wrote. That depression is caused by equal rights. That women behave in a primitive manner. That men are still behaving like it's WW2. And wow, children of single mothers are less intelligent. Damn. You do realize that anyone can falsify your claims with a quick Google search?
/r/PurplePillDebate12/09/20 07:07 PM

But the honor code prevented them both from divorcing.

Example A: I want a boyfriend who is attractive and makes me laugh and drives a car. I go online and find him, we date for four years, true love and all that. I win, he wins. Example B: I want a boyfriend who flies a spaceship, can fold space, and controls the spice. I go online and cannot locate this man, get angry, post on PPD how men are crap because no one can fold space like I want. I lose, I look like a dumbass.

/r/PurplePillDebate11/09/20 04:40 PM

No, because it benefits you to oppose The Red Pill. Me personally? Or women as a whole? Because women as a whole would in fact benefit from learning Red Pill so that they could avoid those men.

I have known men who have super high standards for any potential girlfriend, she must be ultra conservative and not believe in women voting, she must be thin and pretty with big boobs, she must be goth, she must reject western medicine, you know- impossible standards. And you got it pal, they are absolutely allowed to want what they want, and all those men with such high standards all ended up alone. As is their right.

This is the correct answer.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/09/20 02:32 AM

Because it's crap. My boyfriend is the love of my life and he does not provide me "resources" or any such nonsense. I love him for him.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/09/20 02:31 AM

Because they are religious.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/09/20 02:29 AM

So women are designed to not really care about the person, only what they provide. Oh gimme a break.

This is real.

DUDE. I know logical fallacies. I am telling you the causation. The man was a paranoiac and he thought people were out to get him. Therefore he hated the very idea of anyone screwing hi over, therefore he did not want to pay for meals. Causation.

How is my story irrelevant? He was unstable and had a chip on his shoulder...the fact he was insane is not separate from his strange opinions and his anxieties and paranoias and beliefs that everyone was trying to fuck him over. He was a paranoiac and he thought his coworkers were all out to get him. Then me. It is all tied in together in a person who is broken.

I am just telling you what happened. The same guy who was so pissy about who pays at the restaurant was the same guy who tried to kill me with his SUV right before Christmas. I got the restraining order on Christmas Eve. It was very awkward at work after that.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/09/20 12:25 AM

if he's sane Funny you should mention that...he was crazy and I had to get a restraining order.

If you are worried about compensation, why? Are you afraid of being a taker instead of a giver? He knows you by now, he knows you mean well. Let him give to you, and you can give to him, but there should be no feeling of guilt either way.

I wonder if it changes if it’s work you truly love. My dad has a job he loves so much he tells me it doesn’t even feel like work, so I wonder if relationships can be like that Yes. When you are motivated by being in love with someone, you want to stay.

In Real Life my boyfriend and I pay for each other in equal turns. But that is because he is not a dick about it, and does not sulk. We also regularly surprise each other with gifts and favors because we love each other...this is not to brag, it's just normal in a healthy relationship to give.

I am utterly baffled at this mentality. Do you really hate spending money on other people?
/r/PurplePillDebate03/09/20 03:53 AM

This would flop immediately. You should never hold a social event in order to shake down your guests, and you should never ask someone out to shake them down either.

Lemme give an example. I once dated a guy who had a chip on his shoulder about "Who Pays" and he laid it on really thick that if he took me out to a nice restaurant he then expected me to return the favor on our next date. Problem was, I made half his salary and he took me to a very fancy restaurant. How the hell could I afford to return the favor? So I took him to a midrange restaurant instead on our next date and he was furious. Sulked the entire time, ordered the steak and lobster just to sti…

You do not think like a young woman, and I assume you do not live with your parents. There are a million reasons to want to leave the house, play dress up, meet up with friends in a setting which allows you to be silly and free and not worry about judgment from strict religious parents. Attention is not the driving goal, it's laughter and freedom and learning new dance steps. Meeting fun new people is a plus.

It took me 3 months on Match to find my love. Or more correctly he found me. No differing, no fuss...would never tell anyone to avoid OLD as it gave me exactly what I wanted.

But my point still stands. Attractive does not equal alpha.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/09/20 08:30 PM
2

OK, your mileage may vary. I would go to dance.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/09/20 08:29 PM
2

Uh...none of this makes sense. A submissive man is not an Alpha. A shy guy with a cute face is not a Chad. Women who are with partners that they love are motivated by that attraction to be with him, and he inspires that feeling. She loves him, she wants him. That simple.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/09/20 07:57 PM

Why go to a concert to hear your favorite band when you can just listen to the radio?
/r/PurplePillDebate02/09/20 07:55 PM
1

Maybe? When I used to go to dance clubs I was there to have a good time with my friends, not to meet men. When guys would ask me to dance or get me a drink it made me feel put on the spot and I would get nervous and look around for an escape but I was never rude.

In the pre-OLD dating scene you were choosing your partner from a limited range of local options and you knew that trying to find someone else would not be an easy task. Right, it sucked. Now we have choices and we like it.

Context is everything. Is her yucky married co-worker hitting on her at work? Yes, she will be hostile. She is insulted by his attention. Duh. It has nothing to do with virtue signaling and everything to do with disgust.

Exactly my point, I have known sexually submissive men who were Hawt and people (men and women both) wanted them. They were not alphas or chads. They were just good looking.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/09/20 07:40 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate01/09/20 08:49 PM

OK, so let's communicate. "I am leaving you because you got fat and you drink like a fish and you cannot be bothered to get a job." or how about "Your personality is so annoying and you are crazier than advertised and I cannot believe I stuck with you for an entire year as it is." Is that a good tactic for leaving someone? To crush them entirely?
/r/PurplePillDebate01/09/20 08:47 PM
2

Just because you're dumping someone is no reason to be cruel. Really now. No kidding. Who wants to hear the ugly truth from the very person leaving them? Why twist the knife?
/r/PurplePillDebate01/09/20 08:45 PM

women don’t have a strong sex drive is either a mornon or full of it. Compared to a man's libido? Are you serious?
/r/PurplePillDebate01/09/20 01:16 AM
4

Also it’s been shown over and over that women having a low drive is a lie. Just look at Tinder. Tinder women and what they do is not indicative of overall female sex drive. Women have lower libidos and always will be reticent about meeting strange men. Most women on Tinder are just there for validation, not sex.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/08/20 11:55 PM

Trad women get a kick out of feeling superior. The ones posting on Twitter are there for narcissistic validation and so that everyone can see her. Real trads do not post online, obviously, so the ones you mention are the Look At Me variety that want to be envied. Having an ugly husband makes her look fantastic by comparison, as people will all react as you did and say she is "too good for him" which gives her a thrill.

But that is you at an older age. Most young people prefer the company of their peers because they have the same energy levels and humor. I admit, now that I am older I have no problem with this age-gap and my SO is nine years my senior. But in my twenties? I could barely stand the talks about politics or football or baseball that my ex inflicted on me.

Epstein and his girlfriend Gislaine picked teenagers from rough neighborhoods who did not have dads or money, then brought them over to the mansion for "massage" and that is where they were molested first. This was in Miami, and a few other places. They then used these molested teenagers to recruit more girls from school for more "massage" and that way kept up the supply. After awhile the teenagers who were veterans at this point were brought over to the island to service more men for sex. They …

Most women suffer from being TOO agreeable and passive, so they need the opposite advice. Only bossy bitches need to read The Surrendered Wife. Why would a normal, sweet-natured girl need RPW?

No, dating has been one of the easiest aspects of my life. I wish I could go back in time and give myself a reality check about certain boyfriends, since I did not know how to vet for a long time, but it was super easy to move on and get new guys. Not gonna lie, dating was a lot of fun for me.

Your reasoning is all over the place. Tinder and OK Cupid never studied married people, they study their own demographic. Marriage is not Tinder. People pick the spouse they want in Western society, no one is forced to marry here. Why would a woman marry someone she just not crave? In the modern world, what incentive would she have? Money? She can make her own. Kids? She can be a single mom with baby daddy sending checks. So the only reason for a woman to sacrifice her freedom and limit herself …

So I tell you the no one I know has ever married except for legit attraction, and you make the claim that I cannot know. Why not just believe me? Take me at my word? Girls talk, believe me, we tell each other EVERYTHING.

Never in my life have I met a woman who was not attracted to her husband when they married. It faded and died later, but that was not on the wedding day.

Agreed, I have never met a single woman who married a man without wanting the sex that comes with him. It seems like a sour deal to marry and sleep next to the same person for the rest of your days if you find him gross.

Trad cons do not give women a pass, where did you see this? All they ever talk about is women returning to traditional roles and homeschooling kids...you know, rather than careers. A lot of pressure is put on trad women to be perfect.

People adopt new cultures because they like them. We all like martial arts from the Far East, even if we do not get Eastern philosophy. We all eat Mexican food even if we don't enjoy Mariachi music. We pick and choose. So the Western culture of dating is very appealing to men in the Middle East who are expected to marry a first cousin.

Regardless of nationality or race, the best culture is the one that wins. Look at how American music and movies have taken over the Middle East, or how many people eat American fast food in remote countries. It does not matter if you hate McDonalds or Coca Cola, they won.

I was not insecure, I was naive and believed that high IQ men were the true alphas and that his intelligence meant that he would not be a loser later on. I was genuinely surprised at all the mental illness and laziness and personality problems among the gifted. Looks were secondary.

Bipolar disorder is pretty scary up close. Have you dated someone with mental illness? And I never said they were ugly, they were average. It was not so much "cringe" as "why is he hiding in a fetal position under a park bench?"

I was the ugly ducking until about sixteen years old. I used to be teased by both genders because of my dorky looks and clothes, and all that stopped when I glowed up. I went from a 4 to a 9 in the span of two years and the change in how people reacted to me was HUGE. Girls gave me respect and guys asked me out. No more teasing, no more insults. At first I did not know how to handle all the positive attention since I never received praise before, so I dated as many boys as I could (well, as much…

I did not miss out on anything because the way I saw things, the smarter the guy was, the more alpha. It took me years to figure out that I was dating poor people. Years. By then I just chucked out my former standards and started over, found my true love. He has a job.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/08/20 10:56 PM

I lived long enough to figure out that a lot of geniuses are lazy and play video games rather than work. I wish this were not true. There is also a correlation between high IQ and mental instability and I have a story or two about that.

I had an intense three year crush on the man, it was not a true relationship. The red flags were all the hateful things he said to me, but I kept crawling to him like a dog because my brain is wrong. And the kick of it all was that he claimed women did not like him.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/08/20 05:04 PM

I was into high IQ and brains over looks for a good many years. So the guys I dated looked average. People kept asking me what I saw in him, why didn't I get someone better, and I was genuinely confused.
