I would argue that 0.1% applies to everyone 6/10 and below.

I've never wanted to be a bodybuilder or look good. I just like being stupid strong.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/06/26 04:20 AM

You should want to be really strong regardless of whether women like it. Honestly, being jacked isn't that much of an advantage in my opinion, so if that's the only reason you're doing it, I think you could be better of spending time elsewhere.

I had some guy tell me how easy Tinder was and he was surprised how everyone was saying it was difficult and they get no matches. Then I met the girl he met from Tinder. All I can say is that it isn't who I would have picked. She was pretty big. lol

I think it's by design.

You’re acting like a choice only counts if you get the final say. Yes.

There isn't really any such thing as bad sex for a man. I am fully stimulated if my penis is inside a vagina. There's not much more fancy stuff you can do to me beyond that.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/06/26 03:51 AM

I actually think this accounts for a lot of the "overweight" and "obesity" statistics. Do any of those account for bodyfat percentage?

You're confusing the cause and effect.

Well, just because they won the cheeseburgers doesn't mean they can't like you too. Sex is always going to make men feel accomplished and give them bragging rights so if you're traumatized by that, you probably shouldn't date men.

Well, if the OF is indeed detected, that has nothing to do with being an attractive woman then. Unless if you are implying that every attractive woman these days has onlyfans.

I think you meant trust them, but thrust them is a funny typo.

I think what isn't captured in this comment is that there should be a sense of urgency. A lot of times hyping things up to the point of being depressed about it is where one can draw the motivation to do what needs to be done. If you're just kinda meh about relationships, as a dude you aren't just going to randomly drop into one. You have to yearn for it so that you actually push the boundaries of your own comfort zone.

I think your perspective is 100% correct. The trouble for me is that when I embrace this, I cut off my effort from pursuing a relationship entirely. Never have I ever been able to have such a lackadaisical attitude around having someone to sleep with, and been able to sleep with someone. It doesn't work that way for me. So, answer me this. If you're content without a woman, why would you do anything outside of your comfort zone to get one? If doing something out of your comfort zone is the only …
/r/PurplePillDebate22/04/26 03:32 AM

It's certainly possible for 59% of women to be SLEEPING with 15% of men. That just means that 15% of men is rather busy with multiple different women.

This is a good way to describe why I thought this argument was wrong. I couldn't quite put it into words. Yeah, the desperate ones willing to do all sorts of degenerate stuff aren't even the ones getting some as a result.

It doesn't even have to be men debasing themselves for women to have overwhelming leverage. You overstate the amount of "debasing" going on. You guys exaggerate basic interaction between men and women as "debasing".

How do you think your kid feels about being considered "labor" and not a human being?

I'm just saying you don't want to be in the uncertainty stage of this scenario. Not fun. lol

I agree that it's sad that stay at home motherhood is viewed this way, but I also think that I would really like just staying home and raising my kids more than sucking up to some boss that I hate.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/03/26 06:11 PM

It's also your kid though, and not the hired help's kid.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/03/26 06:09 PM

You don't want to be in this scenario.

The thing about the perception that you somehow leveled up and don't want her anymore is that, you don't know for sure whether they want you, and maybe you're just gassing yourself up. You don't really know for sure whether anyone likes you until you try to cash in on it.

Maybe not when you're in your prime and can get porked down left and right, but how about when you're 80 and no one cares about you?

I don't think men experience this PTSD you speak of because they aren't socialized to take any sexual advance as a brutal assault. Most men would take ego boosts from being "sexually assaulted" and probably wouldn't even conceptualize it as such.

Women are obviously the drug dealer in the context of sex work.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/03/26 04:32 PM

Sex between two people who actually want sex is an equal exchange. Getting men to pay for stuff only comes with the false promise of sex, so it is a scam.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/03/26 04:31 PM

If you think men putting their foot down would change that much, you don't really understand the leverage involved. Women have all the leverage. At a certain point, women have the final say in all of these matters.

You've got the cause and effect confused. Billy the cuck is willing to do all that because the women don't like him and he's got no other option. Him suddenly saying "ok now I want to date super models with 0 body count" is not going to change the fact that he's incapable of pulling that caliber of woman.

You don't really have the full context of anything you're talking about because you don't know about other people's sex lives. I also think you overestimate the effect that these things have on the dating market. It's mostly social media, which allows us to see the very best looking women and men, that makes us all want someone who's very good looking.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/03/26 04:00 PM

You can't rely on the will of others to create any change. I actually think we already have a bunch of guys going their own way already and it doesn't change anything.

I think another reason I latched on to this is because at a certain point, I concluded that life is meaningless. There's no reason to do anything. We'll all die eventually. If I don't think "what if me dying is just what THEY want?" It's hard for me to be motivated to do anything.

I guess maybe it's not even about their respect. It's about proving I can get my needs met without relying on "people's respect". It's about getting into a leveraged position where I can exact my revenge by living a much better life than these people who are so judgmental and full of disdain.

I'm not asexual though. It's not that I wouldn't enjoy the company of women if it came easy, but it doesn't. It's always work for me. I really doubt that everyone with a girlfriend is just some zen master that didn't take any pride in their ability to bag that woman. Part of me felt snubbed by all of womankind by that first girl, so I guess I just hold a chip on my shoulder for that. I wouldn't want to get to know another one just for them to ghost me for no reason. I really do want to invest em…

A better idea for how to add physical touch is getting her attention to the point she puts her phone down and then maybe find an excuse to grab her hands in the center of the table. Going to the other side after already establishing that you were sitting across from each other might have been awkward for her.

Did you give examples on how to become more handsome and popular? That might be where the criticism comes from. It kinda feels like saying "just exist with hot women liking you".

How do you deal with that voice that says "now they don't deserve this new and improved me because they didn't like me before"? It's really bad. Like, I can only motivate myself to pursue women out of this desire to prove to myself and other dudes that I can do it. Otherwise, I don't find anything pleasant about being "an improved" version of myself that someone else gets to cash in on. I don't really want to think this way, but it's like I can't help it.

I appreciate that I was able to hash out this mindset with you. The thing is, I totally agree with what you said. I can even somewhat find the better mindset you're talking about when I'm on my own by myself. When I really think about it, I can even empathize with women not liking this mindset that I have. However, the problem is, if I don't view things this way, my fire and motivation I have to pursue women is pretty much nonexistent. For physical pleasure I can just use my hand. If I want to t…

I don't think anyone can guarantee that it's not a numbers game. Trying to find the right "method" will just make you keep on switching from method to method when you inevitably don't have a 100% success rate.

I'm no player by any means, but I agree strongly with this. The times where I thought I must be fumbling this bad were the times when I actually got laid. When I thought I was being all smooth, I would get a number, and then she'd just not text back when I went to text. It got really frustrating to me to the point where I don't know how to get the desire to continue. I like something based on merit where it's like "if I do this, I succeed". Somehow women are like, if I act like a complete buffoo…

Honestly, I relate a lot to what OP says and I came to the same conclusion you gave about how they can sense the vibe of me being uncomfortable. I haven't approached in forever, but I got laid here and there when I did. It was mostly from dating apps, but just like OP I got lucky a time or two from cold approach. Changing my mindset on this feels impossible though. I really respect myself for the ability I developed to feel fear but act regardless, but it still seems like somehow I have to get t…
