I don’t know why people can’t understand this. It’s nothing more than a predictor of attraction. At the end of the day, this is the real world and the real world has variance.

My last comment wasn’t accurate so I deleted it. I did a little bit of research and you’re right that some suggests we can have personal and societal values. However, if the two are completely inconsistent, then it’s just common virtue signaling.

Societal values are values held by society. There’s no such thing as an individual personal values and “societal” values. Your values are your values. And a simple measure of one’s occupation implies nothing. A housewife could be a housewife because it’s the only way to make their situation work. That doesn’t speak to their beliefs. When I say actions, I mean what actions you take with your own agency, based on what you intend. If a housewife believes in empowering women and WANTS to take steps …

Both of you make a phenomenal point. I think the moral of the story is that values are often performative. People want to belong to their club. If they denounce capitalism at every chance they get, they can be in the leftist club. If they prop up the free market whenever they can, they can be in the libertarian club. But when put in real life situations with a stronger or weaker power dynamic, their actions don’t reflect these values. Humans are fickle creatures who often don’t know what they re…

classic tactical doublespeak used by leaders all over the world. “the enemy is simultaneously strong and weak”

Very well-said. Idk if anyone has told you this before but you have a talent for writing.

I don’t understand why this is so complicated for people. Young people, across the board, are having less sex. That’s literally it Now if you want to talk about the rate of child births adjusted for the delta in sex itself, that’s a different discussion. But I don’t think a single study has ever examined it this way.

You act as if women DO show up for eachother, when in reality women constantly shit on eachother and are ultra competitive with other women. Women tear eachother down more than anyone else. I don’t buy this idea that women support eachother and men don’t, that’s just doublespeak. It’s a well-known social truth that women in groups immediately clique up and turn on eachother. Women receive emotional support from men FAR more than other women.

That’s your median guy. The average guy doesn’t necessarily have to be the one in the middle if we assume attractiveness has magnitude beyond an ordinal scale. For example, if the most attractive guy is 10 times as attractive as the two before him, then the average guy will be skewed upwards.

Holy strawman. Reread my second-to-last comment. My personal experience isn’t an affirmative claim.

It’s not really about interests as much as general personality. For example, many of the men I know don’t agree with me on religion, politics, or share similar hobbies. What I WILL admit is the possibility of sampling bias; MY experiences and relationships might not be representative of the true population average, since I’m only a single example. And even if it came off that way, I don’t automatically think women are somehow less interesting in general. It’s a case by case thing. I’m not making…

I have personally met many appealing, exciting, hilarious, and intelligent women. The kind of women that make you think “damn… they really do exist.” At the same time, the majority of women I do know are unappealing and boring. You might think “well that says something about you if the only people you know are unappealing and boring,” except, the men in my life don’t follow that same pattern. They are appealing, funny, and kind people. Yet the fact remains I’m entirely sexually attracted to wome…

Lol resorting to semantics now. Yes, you technically should be held accountable for what you ate for breakfast, since that includes everything. It’s that there’s no consequences for eating whatever for breakfast unless, say, you drink the last of the milk you weren’t supposed to. Seriously though I can’t stand people who argue in bad faith like you. So cringe. Gotta be 15 years old

There’s nothing to be held accountable for in your trivial example. We’re discussing actions that have material consequences, not trivialities like you’re trying to spin. Like come on.

Everyone should be held accountable for everything they do. What you’re saying is the antithesis of civilized society (and dating)
/r/PurplePillDebate29/11/24 05:08 PM

Take a screenshot of your front page where you see some examples. I don’t believe you, like at all
/r/PurplePillDebate24/11/24 08:11 PM

Yes without question we will. Because it’s not real life. People are completely different on the internet than in real life, being able to use it more easily has nothing to do with that. If anything it’s perpetuated the problem.

Women are part of the reason he won. Men were well-expected to vote as they did. But women voted in astonishing proportions for Trump compared to prior elections. It was actually shocking. Kamala only got just over one half of the female popular vote.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/11/24 01:36 AM

I’m not gonna write a novel. But I just want to say that women’s reactions to rejection are FAR more unpredictable and severe than men’s generally. That’s because women are generally the sought after sex and is considered their ‘strength.’ (The ability to manipulate men). Women are also socialized to tie their beauty with their identity. So when rejected it’s two-fold damage: she doesn’t think she’s pretty, which means she’s a useless woman, and also, her power over the man has been reduced to n…

I couldn’t care less. Let them. They won’t be able to follow their own rules and the movement will quickly crumble because only a fraction of feminists will take it seriously, while the majority says they will but in secret still date and sleep with men.

The fact is, that women don’t perform certain jobs at the same rate as men. It’s also true that men don’t perform certain jobs at the same rate as women (nursing, teaching, etc..). The difference is that the jobs men tend to pursue are higher paying and more in demand. The only way to perform this analysis is to study certain positions in a diversified manner and compare the salaries of men/women in that given position, controlling for YOE, COL, performance, education, skill set, and other facto…
