Women here generally have a better turnout in elections according to Statistisk Sentralbyrå, and according to polls by Klassekampen(which is left-leaning) there is a clear divide where women as opposed to men, especially younger women are more likely to vote for left-wing parties(Sosialistisk Venstreparti, Arbeiderpartiet)

Fetal alcohol syndrome aside. The article and comments seems to mix between refusing to serve pregnant women alcohol, and allowing them entry to establishments that do. The new guideline covers entry to the establishment, not whether alcohol is being served to pregnant women. Whether pregnant women are served units of alcohol or not is up to the server afaik, but access to the establishment is not.
