How sad and desperate does a person need to be to go in debt over $20,000 and still have the mindset, "Just a little bit more and I'm in!"?

I wouldn't expect sex just for buying dinner or paying for a movie or some shit like that, but I definitely wouldn't drop almost $300 unless it was with a person that I could see a future with; not just some rando you asked out at the bar or on Tinder.

According to the facilities people, and a thermometer that a coworker bought, our office is 73. Yet, starting a month ago, all my female coworkers started getting "freezing", while wearing a blanket, heating pad, gloves, scarf, hat and coat. You can't win when they decide they just want to be cold.

Here's what mine would be like...3 sentences talking about meeting up online to play games, then just a bunch of memes posted back and forth

Congrats! She isolated the problem...now she needs to move out of the "blame everyone but me" headspace, and start working. Christ...just start learning how to do stuff instead of bitching about it. I have to hope she at least knows how to read, so following a recipe isn't that hard, as long as you aren't going gourmet on your first try. There are plenty of resources in real life and online to help you learn how to do things.

If it was real...and that's a big if...what does he think would happen? "Hey, got your Insta from some random dude and thought you'd be down to get drunk and fuck?" Who thinks that would work?

Someone mentioned that in the comments and both of them commiserated that it's a shame a "bunch of incels" took that term

The people saying NTA or NAH are ignoring the fact that she didn't "sacrifice job opportunities" for her child...she quit to be a homemaker for two years on her own volition before the child was born. From what I think of finances in relationships, discussing any purchases over a certain amount seems totally reasonable. People in that thread seemed to get the idea that he was forbidding her from spending it...he just wanted her to run it by him first. I guess I'm sorry she's so bored that she ha…

Why does a man have to prove he can support a family? Isn't that an outdated patriarchal idea? Maybe both man and woman should prove they can individually support a child in case something happens to their partner. Boom! Equality!

The question is, how long did these "Crazy attraction, can't be without him" relationships last? Because it sounds like they were flash in the pan...hot for one moment then cooling down quickly. Instead of working hard to stoke a flame into a full fledged bonfire, she'd rather take the sparks as they come.

Didn't they already do that for a reality show? The guy's island was an efficient machine, making fire, shelter, food, etc...while the women spent their time sunbathing, complaining and whining. The producers of the show sent food to the women, and then took a guy and switched him out with a girl...where he proceeded to do all the work on the women's side, while the girl just lazed about in the luxury of the guy's work.

Did you see the update? Where she finds out someone posted this online and it went viral and she started raging? She then demands that everyone come to the "Polygraph Party" she was throwing. Yes, she bought a $99 polygraph machine on e-Bay, and wanted everyone to come to her party to tell her if they were responsible. If you did not show up without a valid excuse, you were to be deemed guilty. If the one who posted it online came forward and admitted it, she would hold no grudge (just cut you o…

I went to a strip club on their 1/2 price VIP Dance night, and had two girls ask me to get one...the first said that we'd have more privacy, and she could be naked, and I could be naked...the second was on stage and I was the only person there and she asked if I wanted the VIP, because she doesn't have a gag reflex; then she made the dick sucking gesture. I know that had to be a common offer from the both of them because I am in no way, shape or form a Chad. Most of the time the girl will bring …

Hah, the top comment says to stop working to improve herself for men, and work to improve herself for her. That sounds suspiciously like advice given to men in this sub. They'll use the philosophy, but hate it when guys use it.

The survivor remark is explained in the comment section. Apparently, OP and her friend have both been assaulted in some way before. The friend sounds crazy, but the OP was referring to her as a survivor from a previous incident, not this one.

Most of the responses were about health and conflicting lifestyles, which all seem like pretty reasonable objections to dating a fat girl; and, OH NO! Someone said something rude over an online dating service? How scandalous!

I'm not sure you're allowed to say you do it because it's fun, but then bitch and moan about how much work you have to do. Is it fun or is it work? Or do you just like complaining?

I read through some of that, and the fact that they don't seem to recognize the same behavior that they mock dudes for is insane. Then, if you make a comment that goes against the hivemind, they'll be like, "MGTOW? That explains it. Just get out of our sub. Loser."

My supervisor at work spends a lot of time with earbuds in at her computer, claiming she is doing our call audits...but since we saw the "Golden Compass" playing on her screen once, we all think it's bullshit. She kinda futzes around on the computer, rants at us if an issue wasn't handled as fast as she thought it should have been, and gets irrationally angry when we try to have talks about movies, games, sports, etc.

It means, instead of politely asking someone if they could possibly make a little room, you'd rather go on the internet and talk about how oppressed you are.

I had no issue at first with the Ghostbusters movie, but after I saw the first trailer, I decided I'd rather wait to rent it instead of going to a theater. After following some of the discussions and stuff during that whole debacle, and watching RedLetterMedia's Half in the Bag and Mr. Plinkett reviews have changed my mind on seeing it at all. Captain Marvel seems to be heading the same way.

Also, isn't it less about "Male players do the same thing all the time" and more of, "Does this particular umpire let male players do the same thing all the time?". From what I've heard, this umpire is pretty strict on his calls and following the rules.

I went to a club once when I got off of work, got a drink, sat at a table a fair bit away from the stage and read a menu on the table about the different drinks and upcoming events. I wanted a little time to just decompress and enjoy my drink before I went up the stage and dropped a few bucks to the current dancer. This girl comes and sits down at my table and starts talking to me. I try to be polite, but answer in single words or as short as I can be, while dropping little hints that I just wan…

I'll burp and fart with impunity when I'm alone or with really close family. In public or with friends, I'll try my best to muffle any burps and leave the room for any farts...it just seems more polite and considerate.

My supervisor at work is a woman. It's a coin toss if she's going to be in a bad mood and take it out on us. She also doesn't watch a lot of movies, play video games or reads comics, so she gets exasperated at us if we talk about any of those topics for too long. It makes the day a cycle of us talking, her interjecting and then silence for ten minutes before it starts again.

I don't want to insult people who genuinely suffer from some kind of anxiety disorder, but I see so many stories lately on various sites that have some variation of, "It's hard for me, because I suffer from severe anxiety..." and ends with them complaining about some person, who admittedly might have been rude, is somehow the twisted offspring of Satan and Hitler, who was then raised by Harvey Weinstein. What is happening nowadays that every single person seems to suffer from severe anxiety? Or …

Considering how many jokes and complaints are made about boyfriends or husbands not noticing something as small as a slightly different hairstyle or a new pair of shoes, I have doubts that men are the ones complaining about it

I mean, I always thought that maintaining a job, a home, taking care of yourself and working hard to always improve yourself and be happy were pretty serious responsibilities. Apparently, it only counts as responsibility if you have a wife/gf and a couple of kids to throw money at.

When I first saw RoosterTeeth people making a big deal of her being on a podcast or two, I had no idea who she was. So, I looked her up and watched a video or two of hers...I didn't think she was anything special as a porn star, nor did I think she put out some amazing performance. Now, she's pretending that her porn career didn't happen while Twitch streaming playing games, and now she's a featured cast member of RT. From what I've seen of her, she isn't super funny or interesting.

Pardon me with my simple man math...but isn't the 44.8 men work still over ten hours more than the 'almost 34' women are working? This just seems like they're trying to skew the facts. Yes, women added almost 4 hours to their week, compared to men, who dropped 0.7 hours...but it doesn't change the fact that, on average, a man is working way more than the average woman.

I read a story a while ago about a girl who accused her father of sexually assaulting her, and when she was describing it in court, the lawyer recognized it as text from a "50 Shades" book. The girl then admitted she was just mad at her dad for disciplining her or some stupid shit like that.

I'm confused on why he'd have to eat frozen pizza on Christmas. I lived alone and on Thanksgiving and Christmas I made myself a ham, biscuits, stuffing, mashed potatoes, salad, pumpkin pie and a nice bottle of Baileys. No women involved and had lots of leftovers for the rest of the week.

I was in a car on the LA highway with my roommates and their friend was driving. She was complaining about being pulled over for not wearing a seatbelt...while not wearing her fucking seatbelt. Then she said she had a rough day, grabbed a bottle of beer from the six pack we had for a party we were going to, opens it and takes a huge swig. I honestly wanted to tell her to pull over and let me out on the side of the road.

I wasn't aware that we've always been asking for a "female" predator. I guess I never really thought of the Predator in terms of gender, seeing as that it's an alien who may not have the same gender makeup as humans, but sure....Lady Predator...Hooray...
