Oh for sure mine was the small slice of the pie. And truth be told trusting her is what got us in the situation where divorce was needed.

Same cost here with on child. Amicable divorce after 18 years. If I had listened to everyone here and lawyered up right away it would have started an arms race of sorts. I'm glad I made the "dumb choice" and had a little faith.

I would actually say that being alone and being ok with it is extremely important before getting "a hot new girlfriend" He is what makes his birthday special - get a big steak, buy an expensive bottle of booze, or pick up that fancy thing you had your eye on but couldn't justify the spend... We are enough all on our own and everyone needs to learn self worth. Once we do is when we really bring value to our next relationship because we are adding a partner to something already awesome.

Oh wow, you and I are direct competition! I'm in rural MN too and I agree my experience has been by and large positive. Many more matches and dates than I thought hearing the horror stories prior about online dating. The real key is to work on yourself, before putting yourself out there I'll echo don't be a creep and I'll add treat women like actual people because... Spoiler alert They are!

It definitely depends on the age of the kids. Helping them get or make their mom something on a special day isn't being the nice guy it's being a good father.

My virtual meeting is in almost exactly one month and I'm a bit nervous as to what it will be like. Your 45 seconds gives me hope it won't be a goat rodeo.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
