1	False Rape Claims [Discussion] If there is an insufficient evidence verdict, can the prosecution file charges again later? If so this violates our (US) double jeopardy law - which I believe is very important. The prosecution should get one chance to make their case, if they don't then tough. The prosecution can't keep going after the same defendant over and over. Also, despite the US not having an insufficient evidence verdict, the judge can declare a mistrial because of lack of evidence.
