Personally I find it incredibly touching when a man cries infront of me. It shows a deep level of trust and I am always very thankful if someone chooses to confide with their feelings in this way. It helps me understand and communicate the strength of their feelings too. For me, it's a completely archaic and damaging view that men aren't allowed feelings. I think improving mental health will help a lot. We are all hurting and we hurt each other a lot of the time without even realising it because we're so absorbed in our own hurt. A better approach to mental health can make a big difference and you can see in skandavian countries where they tend to be happier with lower crime rates.
