I do agree that they should have googled it instead of asking you abruptly to your face.But i think it’s a different issue since kilt is a unique thing that only Scots wear and most of the people ask it because they obviously are ignorant and don’t really care to google at all. Among the biggest offenders are Scottish women who have no excuse to be ignorant
