2	Having Enthusiasm Problems You don't need motivation. You need talent and effort. Talent: the ability you have to learn things quickly. Effort: how much you are willing to put up to do whatever you want to do. Talent times effort = skill Skill times effort = success. So you see - effort is two times here. Effort is hugely important. I used to be like you - needing approval of friends/family to have motivation to do the things I wanted to do.
