Depends on the classification of the road. In residential areas, you need to be able to stop because your several ton vehicle will squash unpredictable small children. Obviously if a tweaker runs into a motorway with no warning and you hit them it wouldn't be your fault. The problem is the dumbasses who speed in residential areas, to the point where the traffic management that everyone complains about needs to be installed because children keep dying and people don't learn

Why does being strong have to be limited to men though. Children regardless of gender should be taught resilience. Some shelters aren't managed well and are full of desperate people. Desperate people will do desperate things. When I was temporarily homeless as a teenager I would rather pitch my tent in a quiet field than risk the robbing and rape at the local shelter.

How does calling me stupid add anything to the discussion? My observation is based on years of real world experience.
