He was more ASSERTIVE not aggressive. You need to be the same.

Here's what Seddit has taught me: just fucking talk to people. It's worked wonders. The rest of the theory and "pick-up technique" is superflous really.

Here's another tip: don't wear skate shoes unless you're skating. It makes you look 14.

Just do it. It doesn't matter if they don't smile back. Seriously it doesn't. This sub is full of men second guessing themselves. The last thing this world needs is more women doing the same. Read the sidebar, get some confidence. Make your life better.

A unreciprocated SMILE is going to make you feel foolish? It's not something that takes any effort or exposes yourself to any real form of potential emotional anguish. It's a fucking SMILE. If you refuse to do something as small as this then I can't really foresee you giving me any useful indicators at all. While I could push through without any IOIs, why would I bother? There are other women around who I'm going to have a much easier time with. It doesn't matter how attractive you are, if smili…

My mistake. There are some subreddits that do this then, because I remember being irritated by it. In that case I concur while heatedly with this proposed change.

I think that's the case in all subreddits. Not just this one.

I honestly don't even see the need to call her. Face to face interaction is what is needed. It's quite easy to shut down one of these terminally boring text conversations by just saying "See you on (whatever date/ time you've agreed)". I'm not a fucking woman, I don't want to sit around having idle chit chat with no purpose. Texting is for setting up face to face meetings, at which point you can have a conversation which might actually further your cause.

Apologies, I'm terrible at conveying information through writing. It's not that I'm NOT looking for a relationship, it's just that I'm not too interested in running head first into one. Frankly I'd be quite happy to end up in a relationship with either of them, but as it is I am quite happy with the current situation so I'm in no rush to force the issue. Thus far neither has brought the topic up, either (although as I have said, I do get the inkling that one is pushing for it). I know the whole …

Ah yes, apologies. I'm forgetting Seddit 101 there, thanks for reminding me! I'm always learning. You've given me plenty to think about for sure. I've known what I've needed to do for a little while now really. I've just been putting it off while times were good, and enjoying the novelty of the situation. I've revelled in the situation enough now, and now I know that I am capable of attracting women, I don't need to be seeing 2 to have a back up on retainer.

Great advice, thanks! I haven't led either girl to believe we're exclusive, but conversely I haven't brought up the other girl either (for obvious reasons). I have worried about the ethics behind this. I'm in under no obligation to either as I haven't promised fidelity, but I don't think they'd be happy if they knew. Deep down, I know which one I prefer, and it's the one who I feel may be pushing for a relationship. Sometimes I do wonder if SHE has a mild case of oneitis. One reason I have hedge…

I'm currently seeing two women in an effort to stave off the oneitis I had previously suffered in relationships. Seeing this post has made me realise that oneitis is an internal issue, that is rectified by inner security in one's own self, not by splitting one's attention between multiple women. I'm still divided as to what I should do about the two women I am seeing. I'm not in a relationship with either, but it is getting steadily more serious with both and I know I will have to make a decisio…

Yes, this was one of my concerns. A simple "OK" and then a termination of all contact can give off the vibe that one is angry and resentful. I suppose a fine line has to be tread between engaging in needy behaviour and acknowedging that the relationship was meaningful and enjoyable. In my experience woman don't like dumping someone (just as I don't), especially if there are feelings there. So acting as if the relationship never happened and did not mean anything to you, especially if it is an at…

Revenge seems like a very un-alpha thing to be engaging in.

Great. Exactly the sort of advice I was looking for. I hope I'm man enough to do this in future.

This is what I suspected. It will be my response in future breakups.

Isn't this just a reiteration of the fact that you should not approach with an outcome in mind, and just enjoy the time spent there in the moment? It's the exact same advice I see given again and again to guys who get nervous in conversation. Only with a lot more superfluous bullshit around it. Typical of philosophy really.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
