A person is a human by definition. What is your point?

Wow! I find this mindset shocking. I'm interested in your thought process. Let's take this a step further... 1) A 64 year old has early onset dementia. Is it ok to smother them? 2) Your child is born with with Down's syndrome or some other severe mental handycap preventing complex thought. Is it ok to smother them? Is sexually assaulting them a lesser crime? 3) this handicapped person grows up to an adult. Because they can't produce complex thoughts killing them is less of a crime? I'm coming of…

This is a photo of two bathroom doors with out enough context. Can OP somehow prove the nonexistence of a third door men's room? Until then I remain skeptical.

You clearly don't live in an urban area. Turnstiles go boys ways.

Did anyone else notice their calculations exclude overtime? It is actually proving the pay gap does not exist and spinning it as a feminist victory.

At least there is a discussion. Go to r/feminism and see how much debate happen over there.

You are changing the argument. Your assertions have nothing to do with op's assertion. However, no one is forcing anyone to do house work. If you aren't getting paid for doing something you feel is of value, then stop doing that thing. I gather no one would care.

As long as it is not qualified with "for the same work" it is accurate.

Agreed. I'm all for fighting this sort of sexism, but it's more likely that the boyfriend forgot to check a box on the application. Here is a copy of the application. http://www.dph.illinois.gov/sites/default/files/forms/fssmcprogramrequestform.pdf

I'm going against my better judgment here, since you clearly are trying to pick a fight, but here it goes. One example... The wage gap. Study after study shows its a manifestation of women's choices, and there is no statistically significant difference in wages between men and women while controlling for difference in choices, yet you still hear "women get paid 78 cents for every dollar a man makes for doing the same job." How about the attempt to cull freedom of speech to protect people from ha…

I don't see anything wrong with this. As far as I know, the whole "lean in" thing is about giving women the confidence to compete with men on an equal playing field. It's not about quotas or getting a leg up. If a qualified woman just needs a bit more confidence to throw her hat in the ring, we have more candidates for the job. May the best one win. Let's exclude combat rolls for now. Am I wrong? I have a feeling I'm gonna get down voted for this one.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
