How do you do that awful cat uwu thing? Anyway: that. My man card has circles on the i's, sprinkles around the edges, fits neatly into a skintight jean pocket and will seduce your brother.

Oh yea, I work in a university I know fullwell about the predatory monetisation of 'education'. So it’s honestly just about money 💰 Always has been, blam :)

The first wave had a solid point. It's tenets are still sound. I'm unsure of the boundary between first, second and third wave but it seems to have gone wrong somewhere along the track.

You are on my wavelength. What initially made me look into mens rights was several suicides in my male family (long ago) and just listening to the overt men hating I was hearing in my social circles. I don't get it, men are people, women are people, we all just want to get along. Why it's a zero-sum game for so many I just don't get. I remember this one group conversation where one of the guys said 'all men are scum', everyone in the room nodded and carried on - like dude I love my brother, my c…

People are gonna do it anyway might as well teach them about tax, organisation, digital rights, safety and the mental health disaster it can be. Hey I'd run that course if they paid me: financials and economics 101 for sex workers with a focus on mental healthcare. Re society being fucked: we've been buying and selling sex since we invented it. The medium and payment forms just change a bit.

Yea strange isn't it. Like all those women who fall in love with murderers while they're in prison.

What would happen if you said 'but I'm a white male' ? I wonder. Nothing good I guess.

All tabloid crap sadly. Not likely to be read by the upper middle class wankers who push this 'women are never the abusers' retrogressive nonsense. It's going to be read by working class wankers who will take this on board, feel impotent anger and sqew right in their quest for perceived power. All in all: dammit people why are we so bad at just being awesome to each other?

Yep, this thread is it. Was an interesting place but the writing is on the wall - the ban hammer is growing. fingers crossed we duck it this time.

Agree in general life and here but worth remembering this is a pretty male dominated area. I reckon that means the women are gonna be more extreme on average. And so the feminist subs up vote the more direct, blunter stuff.

Never been, heard bad things. I went to brum for an interview in teh football stadium. The walk from the station to the stadium was like a rapid descent into the 1970's. Grim as F.

Good work. You opened by claiming mens rights advocates just shit on women and closed with some targetted shitting of your own. Neatly oroboroused yourself, good to nip this in the bud.

I prefer mothernarchy, sounds like a good name for a post-punk girl band.
/r/PussyPassDenied04/10/20 03:48 PM

That's called equality. The 'feminists' I've met are often anything but egalitarians and generally misunderstand the feminist movement anyway. Instead of patriarchy use society. It's ridiculous to use gendered politics and blame these things on the 'patriarchy' why not the 'mothernarchy'? It's debatable what these terms mean technically but in reality they are pointlessly gendered and alienate men.

Ah I've found it a few times now. It always comes with a (delayed emotional) pricetag but frankly I'm willing to pay it. Maybe one more go before I do my Ted Bundy impression (minus the bombs). Thanks for the answer though, hope it goes well/better for you.

Shock probably cracked the thermal connections between processor(s)? and heatsink though. I've not seen the architecture but assuming it's like the PS3 or PC's in general it'll be matter of time. If it's an SSD the drive will be ok. Main board probably ok.

If they're unarmed and not immediately threatening you generally yes. It's all subjective and situation based. A better lawyer might have argued that he was trapped as she was between him and the door. Unfortunately that punch looked like it was overpowered so this video won't have helped him.

This is obviously stupid but leaning a little too far left is preferable to what's happening in the US. The US has actual concentration camps and debtors prison. The EU is a bastion of rationality and freedom. I expect a lot of downvotes here from the emotional ones amoung you. I'm right though.

I was told by HR we have to prioritize minorities for a new position in my dept. I'm not allowed to refer to it as "positive racism" in front of my team apparently. Was worth it for the look of confusion/fear on her face though.

Been using them since I first needed to shave. I bought a box full of 1000 blades in 1998 for about £30 from local bulk warehouse. I change the blade once or twice a week, still got a few left....quite economical to say the least.

I'm over 30 and in a 10+ year very happy relationship with my wife. Perhaps you have a ready made image of mrm people. I'm just another redditor not a 'member' of any group really. I care about men's rights because I've lost several male family members and I feel that the current femenist movement is identity politics dressed up at egalitarianism. That's where I'm coming from. Take from that what you will. As for the the red flag thing: I've not used Tinder, never talked about gender politics wh…

The ones I meet are aiming for equality of outcome. Thats a dark path. They also generally scoff at men's issues as a whole. Maybe your luckier but in my circle of aquantances it's clearly a force for "putting men down so we can get what we deserve". That's paraphrased but I've heard it several times. Edit: also I came here for advice once I'd been driven to distraction by IRL femenazis.
/r/MensRights08/12/18 09:07 PM

Ah I wish I'd never seen it IRL. It's like a pox in my major British city, even some of the men are brainless 'femenists' on-board with the misandry and victim complex thing. I spend so much time biting my tongue I'm wearing my teeth out.

Not much of a problem if I'm a homosexual is it? Unsurprising how fast you descended to an attempt at a personal attack. Must be painful to have your beliefs challenged when your position has no logical basis. Enjoy your 12th day on reddit, maybe you'll learn something today. If not Tumblr might be more your level.

Why not? They do. Children can't make their own descisions, adults can. Men in this example aren't being allowed too, whats your issue specifically aside from that you think the phrase is bullshit

Why? Reproduction is a two player game. If one party can abort or keep the child the other should have that power too. Same time limits etc. Seems strange to me to expect financial support for a child carried to term against one of its parents wishes.

Well put. I see this happening around me too, my 'right on' mates think it's cool to generally man-bash for fun while I imagine I'd be crucified for similar if genders were switched.

I've got 'friends' in their early 30's getting into feminist based hating and throwing that phrase and other man bashing about. It's a tale as old as time: looks fade, bitterness grows, personally lacking so join a cause and define yourself by it then either grow out of it or start collecting cats. It's so tempting to blame another for your problems. I understand them, it's the same driving force behind racism and xenophobia IMO. Problem is that manbashing is seen as acceptable.
