0	Going Dutch on Dinner I agree. If I order a $15 meal and my friend orders a $9 meal, I'm not going to expect them to pay half, because that's a fairly big difference. And vice-versa, when I'm trying to keep my spending on meals low and choose a cheap meal, I don't want to pitch in for someone else's food. But getting uppity about spending a few extra cents is a bit ridiculous--if splitting the check in two makes life easier but means I'll spend an extra ten cents...
