If a guy did the same thing, that article would have plastered his mugshot all over as well as his name Oh dude if a guy tried grabbing a woman's crotch in a shop, while his friend tried to grind her, there would be an outrage.

No I got it; you're saying if people are allowed to joke about it and they want to, they just shouldn't.

Because you can joke about anything you want? And if people don't find it funny, they won't laugh? And then you look foolish because you made a bad joke?

Again, more context. She doesn't say that in your screenshots

I can drive myself there. What? It doesn't seem as if she was trying to scam you. You're the one who said that she was just trying to get a free meal. It genuinely doesn't seem like an attempted pussy pass. It just looks like you turned down a date. More context please.

Your timestamp is terrible. For those who aren't going to restart it; they are arguing at the bar, she has her fist drawn back as if she is going to hit him. He grabs her forearm to prevent her from swinging, she pushes him away with her knee and punches him in the face with her other hand. Then he hits her in the face. OP's timestamp takes you to immediately after the events described above

They meant feminists in general, not that this particular individual was a feminist.

I don't understand the level of stupidity needed to attack a man's daughter in front of him. I just...fucking hell.

This is one of the most self-entitled posts I've seen. What the fuck; talk about a lack of knowledge. HuffPost needs to screen their contributors or it's going to continue to go down the drain.

Yup, I think you are right about what happened. What I'm saying is that because the video doesn't show her trying to use her gender to her advantage, it violates the main rule of the sub.

You may be right about the events prior to the encounter but we don't see what happened, therefore the video doesn't follow the rules. We don't see her try to use her gender to gain an advantage or avoid repercussion for her actions. I don't think that /u/MaunaLoona is a SJW for pointing it out because this is just a dude in a shop hitting a woman, no context.

This is just lazy prosecution imo. Sounds like a deal. Guilty plea for less serious charges. It's likely that the prosecution didn't think this case was worth too much time. Which kind of annoys me because it's clearly a damn rape and this shit wouldn't fly with genders reversed. Pussy pass maintained. The bit about registering as a sex offender is good though.

There's a longer video. I will find it and post it. Although it should be the first or second recommended video if you open the YouTube page. Provides a bit of context.

Thank you! Sarah can be funny but I think she has given up as a comedian. That last show of hers was such a disappointment. 39 people? Jokes we've all heard before? Bullshit.

The article is the denial, the video is just her attacking someone and getting away with it. That's why I posted the article.

I think it's less women not being held responsible for their actions (though this is still a part of it) and more that some women are so confident that a man won't retaliate that they literally don't give a shit about attacking a man in public. Of course if a man retaliates then he gets jumped by like 10 strangers in the vicinity who saw him get attacked. TV and movies don't help this either when they portray it as something normal. But anyway, when someone is offended and they resort to a physi…

I'm not American and I've noticed that too! However it isn't all of them. I think it's just indicative of what news show they're on and on which network.

Well said. I also couldn't believe she used the lingerie argument! "It's also a gift for the man" doesn't even make sense if you see it from her point; sex. The sexism of Valentine's day, imo, can be more damaging to women than men. As a man, we're expected to spend more and do something special. As a woman, they're taught to feel entitled on that one day, taught that their partner doesn't love them if he doesn't do better than any other day, and most importantly, it further enforces the stigma …

It's either the woman thinking that someone is being bitter when they hear an opinion they don't agree with. Or it's a pitiful attempt to insult the man. Regarding the latter, it's a sure sign that someone has lost the debate when they reduce their argument to an ad hominem.

Well said. What I find interesting about Marc Rudov is that he seems more interested in parts of feminism than many feminists are. When parts of the system are in your favour, it's very hard to admit that the favour needs to be taken away from you. Feminists are conveniently forgetful when it comes to the social benefits of women and it's awesome to see someone bring them up. I'm sure we have all been on at least one date where the girl just felt entitled to being paid for.

There do seem to be more of those videos. Why? Because a woman hitting a man and expecting to not be hit back because she's a woman is one of the best examples of the pussy pass. I do prefer reading the articles where the law treats everyone fairly but I also understand why people love the fight videos.

I think the essence of this pussypass was that the men just drove off and the women got extremely aggressive and became confrontational. Also there were a lot more women than men.
