I’m very appreciative of what I have, but I endured a lot of abuse to get there. Life is a million times better now.

She didn’t. Courts awarded me 100 because she wouldn’t address her mental health and got arrested about 10 times during divorce proceedings.

0 child support, 100% custody, paid 2 years of 6000/month and have 2 years of 2500/month left. Worth every penny

You should never have left the house. Your best bet at this point is to play nice for a few months, move back in, play along try to get her to sign a post nup. If she’s hell bent on divorce you better get your ducks in a row, get a lawyer, don’t tell her anything until you’re ready to pull the trigger. Stop paying for all of her shit. It’s time she joins the real world. Until the court says otherwise. Pay the things in your name and cut her off.

This is wild you’re even entertaining this idea. Run away from this situation. At least for the kids sake. Get your life together for them. Separate yourself far away from this woman. Figure out how to coparent with her and let her cuckold some other slub.

Took me many tries to get out of my toxic marriage. It wasn’t until the kids safety was compromised that I said it was time. Even after all of the physical and mental abuse towards me I kept going back. Once I left it was the best decision I’ve made. Life is a million times better now

Again grey rock her. Delete her from your life. Not worth it

Just don’t get married. Problem solved. In all seriousness experience is the only thing that will guide you. I once made a mistake and will never do it again. Once you have the government meddling in your breakup you wake up to the joke that is marriage.

Shes going to fuck you over unless you take immediate action. Change all of your passwords, lock your credit, grey rock her, only communicate through email or apps and delete your social media. This sounds like the type of woman that will falsely accuse you of abuse and get a restraining order against you. If you have an actual reason to get a restraining order, ie abuse, then get it , they’re free. It doesn’t sound like you have a lawyer, which would be your worse mistake. Get one now or you wi…

9 hours! Mine was 30 minutes of complete nonsense. I stood up and said we’re leaving!

Yes. Married 10 years. Miserable marriage insane sex. She used it to her advantage. Eventually untreated bipolar fueled by adderall caught up to her and she was hospitalized multiple times. Now would rather be manic instead of being treated. Sex isn’t worth it and my girlfriend now is sane and we have great sex life.

Screw that. Get detached from her in every way possible. If you don’t have kids think of it as, how can I detach myself so that I never have to interact with this person ever again.

ER doc here on the tail end of divorce from a psychotic ex. My advice is to run. Especially before you make attending money. Get out while it’s easy and you have no kids. Your PD won’t give 2 fucks about some domestic bs anyway. Just tell him what’s going on. Most good PDs are super supportive. My ex has tried to get my medical license revoked and a whole litany of other things. Don’t let her try to suck you back in either. A person that would do this is worthless and will never change. What wil…

Yea I’d rather be broke than live with satan and constantly worry about mine and kids safety! Also great deterrent for future marriage.

Impossible with certifiable insane ex wife whose only goal is to inflict misery. If she had actual request I would just give it and move on. But when you’re on your 3rd judge and second set of lawyers it’s hard to fight against the machine.

You have them half the time. Do your shit when you don’t have them. Am I missing something here?

Grey rock, don’t respond. Block her, strictly use parenting app or email. You’re still feeding her the response she’s looking for.

Sex is their bait to get you back. Crazy wild shit that will blow your mind. You have to resist and cut it off completely. Jerk off 3 times a day if you have to, to avoid the temptation.

Run as fast as you can away from this. You will be amazed at the peace you experience when you’re out of the situation. As much as she says she will work on it, it will be a lifetime battle and not worth the continuing ups and downs even with treatment. I’m empathetic to mental health, but when it’s been ignored for years and blamed on others, my empathy ends. It only gets worse as they get older. We’ve all been in your spot and I promise the life you live after this bullshit is worth the divorc…

Yea they hate people sleeping for some reason. Seems to be a common controlling theme with them. And 3am arguments are key to really getting some mutual understanding in the relationship

Went through similar situation. BPD BP1 NPD officially diagnosed finally in custodial eval after years of fighting me on her having any diagnosis at all and me being the one who should have been involuntarily committed?!Went through all the false accusations, alienating the kids. I second all of this advice. Record everything, sleep with one eye open, protect kids at all cost, grey rock the shit out of her, cancel joint accounts and run away as fast as humanly possible from this situation with l…

No contact and run away as fast as you can. They will try to pull you back in over and over again. If they’re not taking their treatment seriously it will only get worse. Get out now while it’s early.

This was me. I second feeling more happy in my life than ever. After you get that negative energy out of our life, it improves drastically. Kids are doing better now too as is our relationship. These people dont care about anything except for being right and destroying anyone that gives them the time of day.
