Mostly BS as usual with leftoid ideology. A few funny and clearly made up choices...like gay men randomly being better off than lesbians. Presumably that is just man hate creeping in because hate crime statistics and social acceptance statistics would beg to differ that gay men are more privileged. The wheel itself is also a bad diagram because it implies wrongly that each slice has an equal impact on one's welfare as the next. Being profoundly disabled or poor is far more detrimental to outcome…

I noticed this in my political awakening back in 2013. My usual response when people try to police discussion like that, when they say stuff like "you can't say that! That is racist/sexist" is to say "no it isn't. It's just a fact. It may be inconvenient or embarrassing to certain groups you hold an affinity towards but that doesn't make it untrue".

If women don't need men then they surely don't need the heroic men from the green box. But seriously, you could make this same awful chart about women. A small fraction being good and the rest various shades of bringing nothing to the table, manipulative, conniving, histrionic, resource extracting, and evil. What's the point. We all know that some form of the pareto principle applies and a small number of people from a group are responsible for most of the bad that comes from that group. White k…

Yes that is nearly always the case but the statistical reality is often inverted by emotional pleas and politicking. Womens issues get disproportionately large amounts of funding and attention because feminists have capitalized on evolutoonary/cultural drives to protect women. The result is we hear endlessly about violence against women, missing and murdered indigenous women, etc, when it is actually the men who are more at risk. To compound it if you point that out to a feminist you are likely …

This whole bear thing is just this year's version of the "bowl of skittles". Remember that? Another feminist hate mongering campaign which used fallacious reasoning and facile statistics to crap on men. If even one skittle in the whole bowl was poison, you wouldn't grab a handful of then to eat, would you? Well that's how women feel about men, knowing a small number may rape or kill us." It is the same thing. They come up with little memes/campaigns like this every now and then and they all cent…

Yes it has always true that most indigenous people who are missing or murdered are men. But of course men can't point this out. The only time this has ever gotten traction in Canada is when Indigenous women mention it like in the article. It takes a woman to say "hey, my son was murdered and that matters" in order for the feminist establishment to be prevented from the usual knee jerk screaming of misogyny which occurs when anyone else dares to point out the actual statistics about who is murder…

Most feminists are quite cult like in their thinking on this. It truly hasn't even occurred to them as they bleet for unlimited abortions and rage against the idea that "sex has consequences", that men are routinely forced to bare far worse life-altering consequences for unwanted children than they are. Even when you point it out to them their cult thinking overrides cognitive dissonance. I suggested that men should he allowed to have a paper abortion and essentially give up/adopt out their righ…

Indeed but not only that, we all know that if a story ever came out about a man ditching his gf with cancer for the sale of his mental health, he would be absolutely destroyed by the same people who smirk or shrug when the woman does it. It is just another of a thousand examples of the double standard which is promoted by feminists and gynocentric socieities. That which is toxic and deplorable for a man to do is tolerated if not celebrated and promoted when women do it. Yet feminists will always…

Spot on. Feminists only care about women's autonomy and only insofar as it is advantageous. If autonomy means accountability then they don't want that. Most people cannot make this connection though and will never understand the (correct) point you made that the statement/argument "If you didn't want parental responsibilities then you shouldn't have had sex" Is only deployed against men to forcibly extract child support for 18+ years and ruin their life, but never deployed against women when the…

Just the usual gynocentric garbage. Been like this forever. I remember reading an article around 2014 that was part of my red pill journey. It was titled something like "women make up 9% of workplace fatalities. This is up from 8% and shows we need to take action." That's your brain on feminism.

I witnessed something similar play out from the other direction, and it may give some insights here. My friend is a professor (doctorate) at a law school. On the name board all the professors had their seniority/rank listed (full professor, associate professor, assistant professor, instructior, etc). They also were referred to as "Dr" if they had a doctorate. One day a bunch of the women complained to the feminist dean of the law school that this list set out a hierarchy and that was unfair. It …

Exactly. I just watched an interaction today on the subway that showed it. This woman is very done up: make up, colorful highlights in hair, very nice outfit. This older guy walks by her (he in 40s, she in late 20s or early 30s) and all he says is "your highlights look amazing, what a striking color", and he keeps walking. As he walks away she rolls her guys and mutters "gross" under her breath. He didn't hear her. So this guy was not creepy, staring, or looking to start a chat. Just gave a comp…

Notice the concern trolling. So much misandrist/feminist (I repeat myself) rhetoric and responses to critique is not to actually attempt to explain or address the critique in any way. They just pretend that their positions are so obviously correct and unassailable that the mere act of someone criticizing them betrays misogyny, about which they are "disappointed". It is a form of ad hominem attack, I think. Basically amounts to commie style denunciation. Like "these guys are supposed to be on our…

Lol. I have had so many conversations with feminists IRL which address this point and it is always funny to see the smirk melt off their face when they say what the meme says in order to justify state funded abortion in demand, andI say something like "okay great, so when men don't want to be on the hook for support I guess the same rule applies." Really it shows the depths of the brain dead myopia of feminist thinking, since they clearly have not given a single thought to the consequences of th…

Completely agree. I am also a gay man and based on what most women say about dating and partnering up with men it is clear to me that they don't like or appreciate then nearly as much as gay men do except insofar as men are instrumental. The women love having their work horses. Their drivers. Their providers. Their nanny. Their handy man. Their protector. But of course this all goes back to the basic truth we all know: women are valued for being who they are and men are valued for what they do. …

Of course, all the marxist "x-studies" courses are absurd, thinly veiled anti-western propaganda. That said I find it amusing how feminists can do mental gymnastics to justify signing on to all the gender and sexuality BS, because it actually ends up hurting women most. How can they advocate for women's rights (or privileges or special interests, as is more the case), if they can't even decide what a woman is. Without a stable concept of woman, and one which is readily observable to all, how cou…

Funny thing is that as much as some women might smirk at this, it only hurts them. Actual men still have their preferences and are not governed by AI. So if women actually internalize this double standard it will only lead to their own disappointment and loneliness.

Feminists, especially those at that sub, are your typical far left grievance and hate mongers in terms of emotions and behaviour. They live and breath resentment, envy, anxiety, fear of missing out, entitlement disappointment, anger, depression, and feel constantly aggrieved because they think the world both owes them something and is also somehow structured against them. Once you understand the psychology of these people it only makes sense how they cluster into these little hate filled echo ch…

Whenever a woman says men need to express their feelings more I always ask them to explain which ones. Most of the time they default to something along the lines of "they need to cry more". I ask them if anger or fear are acceptable and they quickly point out those can end up being toxic unless directed at the "right" things. So basically they only want men to be more emotional if it weakens them or if it is useful towards achieving women's ends.

Well at least they are being honest about their intentions. Indeed all I ever see about body positivity is about how hard and unfair beauty standards are for obese women. Nothing about people with disfigurement, disabilities, diseases, or of course, men. And whose fault is it that these obese women feel badly about themselves? No not their own lack of self control. It is the Patriarchy of course. Because absent the misogynistic ideology, men would be flocking to these land whales.

I think that is almost the point though. It is so typical. Many women love shaking their money makers and using their looks and sex to get what they want while they are young and desirable, and of course they contribute to sexism themselves, but once they age out of it and men lose interest they become school marm feminists and declare sexism the world's biggest problem. It is pure cope.

One of the reasons feminists are over represented in academia and teaching professions is that they know they need to get kids while they are young. They know that their views would not be popular and that they cannot actually support most of them with data so they need to proselytize to kids who are not as able to challenge them in order to soften them up and get them accustomed to not challenging their assertions. That way, over the coming years and decades when the now grown up kids hear drec…

Typical feminism. I remember reading an article about workplace deaths. The feminist was whining a out the signficant increase in female deaths, such that instead of men being 92% of workplace deaths, they were only 91%. That 1% shift towards women was cause for alarm. And yet they have the gall to moan about patriarchy.

Always remember to point out how feminism cannot abide the tenets of our legal system such as the presumption of innocence and due process rights, and how they don't have any interest in objectivity, rationality, or justice. The movement is what matters to them, not reality.

I would just add that everyone has their blind spots on issues and philosophical principles and sometimes you just have to decide whether it is worth bringing them along or setting that issue aside and only engaging with them on other topics. Examples of this abound in our cultural life and in our personal life. For example, Dave Chappelle is often seen as based and he is pretty good at seeing through the establishment's lies about feminism and the radical transgender activist lobby. On the othe…

Bodily autonomy is one of those concepts that is bandied about like it is a sacred principle but is really only selectively invoked when convenient to achieve some specific goal or policy. The moment that bodily autonomy is inconvenient it is cast aside. I am experiencing a lot of shadenfreud right now over the abortion issue. On the one hand I find it blatantly obvious that the rate of fale or mistaken accusations is far more than whatever feminists claim it is. But in terms of the justice system I think it is also beside the point I always want to say to feminists who say the number is "only 2%", so what? What do they want? To make an exception for the presumption of innocence or beyond reasonable doubt standard of guilt in a court of law? AMD if so, why not for every other crime? I am sure the rate of false accusat…

Most opposition to paper abortions (at least the kind where the availability of a paper abortion aligns with the availability for the women to get an abortion) is just the usual casual misandry of putting all the responsibility for maintaining society on men and denying them autonomy to do so. Philosophically I am pro-choice. However in recent years I have decided that I will not advocate or speak in favour of the availability of abortion. Two reasons for this: I won't support women's legal ability to obtain an abortion unless or until men have a similar legal capacity. By that I mean men should be able to have "paper abortions" and sign a binding document which terminates all paternal rights and responsibilities (child support etc.). This right to have a paper abortion should exist f…

You know what is extra laughable? I don't even think the minor nod to sexism effecting "anyone" is even an acknowledgement that men might possible maybe sort of kind of could be impacted by it a little. We don't even get that much. Rather, it is a nod to woke, because they know that all the trans and made up gender people would whine and cry transphobia if the feminists reserved sexism for women alone. Sex strikes are amusingly anti feminist. Feminists often try to promote the lie that men and women are the same and women want sex as much as men. They also act like they are sex positive. And yet everything they do, from sex strikes to pushing draconian consent standards, to #metoo witch trials and weappmozed false allegations of rape betrays just how sex negative they are. Yep, feminists always navel gaze and focus in women's issues when talking about the handmaid's tale. They act like all men are well off and everyone is happy except women. As a gay man I found it especially galling when a feminist once told me, when I suggested that she was wrong to say that Trump's America is only steps away from Gilead, that "of course you wouldn't think it is serious- you are a man". This is very true. Having lived in different places I definitely noticed (because I am gay and see penises fairly often) that in places where circumcision is less common, phimosis is much more frequent. Maybe I had an unlucky sample but I would say it was about 50% of the guys I encountered. Not all were very badly off - for some the foreskin could partially retract or it could all the way but it was extremely tight and uncomfortable.

The fact that feminists hate on gay men, who by definition will have no sexual interest in them and no sexual aggression towards them, just reinforces how feminism is basically just a misandrist movement. All the whining about "not feeling safe", when directed at gay men, belies their real anti male agenda. This is quite common unfortunately. The Ts have been slowly taking over the LGB for a while. Mostly it is due to psychotic radical trans rights activists (most of whom are not actually trans). Most gay spaces on reddit have been overrun with the trans activists. But this doesn't just impact gays. The ideology applies to straights too: e.g. it is transphobic for you to not be into transwomen. Your "genital preference" is transphobic. It is sad because it really makes the LGBs look bad.

Straight men may be somewhat more complicit in their poor treatment than gay men. As a gay guy I am constantly reminded each day on reddit how lucky I am not to have to deal with women the way many guys on this sub have to. I have been to a number of conferences where the genderists seized all the bathrooms, declared then all to be "All gender" bathrooms that anyone could use, replacing the signs etc., and in a petty act of misandry, they taped off the urinals in the mens washrooms so that they would all be the same. If it's truly "patriarchy" that is causing men's problems, it is not actually patriarchy and there's other issues at play. Exactly this. "Patriarchy" and terms like "toxic masculinity" are just paper thin substitutes for saying "men". Yep. It's Critical Theory 101. People from so called marginalized groups get different rules and considerations applied to them. Group identities are all that matter. Individualism and the consideration of personal experience and history doesn't matter. All that matters is the groups you belong to. I think the feminist lobby has impacted criminal law enough in many countries that they can no longer disavow aspects of the criminal justice system that hurt men.
