I understand that, I never denied that that isn't the truth. Women do "get off" a lot easier than men do when it comes to certain fields of crime. But I highly doubt a woman who kills a child or does some something similarly egregious they get off with lesser sentences. There are people out there that truly believe the things that extremists believe in are the fringe of Islam. That only a minority want sharia law, that only a minority wish to punish apostasy, homosexuality, have backwards views on women's rights, etc. It's not the fringe.
