41	Women being more likely to be killed by a romantic partner or a family member than anyone else was one the worst facts I found out. Nothing is more heartbreaking than knowing you’re more at danger in your home than outside This is why it’s so important to vet the men in your life very well, put up with zero bullshit from them, have your own finances (including an emergency fund kept separate and secret), and to not live with someone right away. Always have a way of getting out, always have an escape hatch, and do not put yourself at risk by moving in without the ability to gtfo. 2	Thank you mods! But I missed this sub. Omg I had a Pickmeisha therapist who I trusted and her advice pretty much ruined my life. I followed an absolute asshole across the country, tanker my career, and ended up alone without a support system when they cheated.
