Male(27) was just surprised with a divorce/separation. Not sure what to do from here, I love her so much, and we have a 3 year old son together. | Prosthetic_Mind | /r/Divorce_Men | 09/10/16 09:46 PM

How do y’all feel about ever getting married again?Haha no, not a woman. Just a guy who really believes in happiness and letting things go. Just a dad with a sweet 8 yo boy who has taught me how to be vulnerable and caring for my fellow people. I just ache a bit when I see how much trust men lose when hurt leaving a relationship. I know what letting my guard down again is like and although I was reluctant to do so, am so glad I put in the work to remain neutral and not become calloused. I was extremely lucky to end up with an amazing co-parentin… | /r/Divorce_Men | 25/03/22 02:09 PM

How do y’all feel about ever getting married again? You're scared, we get it. Don't live in the "might happens". Those odds were there the first time you got married, why didn't it stop you then? Once you fall in love again it probably won't stop you then either. | /r/Divorce_Men | 24/03/22 04:38 AM
How do y’all feel about ever getting married again? Thanks! Same to you! I am remarried and currently working on another little! Good luck to you and yours DK | /r/Divorce_Men | 24/03/22 04:37 AM
How do y’all feel about ever getting married again?Like DK said, some guys will be scarred because of their own trauma. I didn't experience any of that with my ex so I have a brighter outlook on it all. We do 50/50 custody with expenses split down the middle. No alimony or child support. $1200 divorce costs split the equity on our belongings split down the middle after we sold. We(2 moms, 2 dads) have a great coparenting relationship, people ask how and I can't explain it because its really the only way to go about it all. Im sorry you had a bad… | /r/Divorce_Men | 24/03/22 04:33 AM
How do y’all feel about ever getting married again?Wiser? Have you ever had a friend do you wrong? Screw you over financially etc? Do you just not associate with people anymore or did you give someone else a shot? There are good people out there trying to find love, maybe for the first time, maybe again. You should stay off the market, they're better off not meeting you. | /r/Divorce_Men | 24/03/22 04:22 AM
| -9 | How do y’all feel about ever getting married again?I feel bad for you, your bitterness is really sad. "Some of us have children, so nobody here is an incel" You must not be on a male only subreddit. Key word being reddit. Just because you can't find happiness doesn't mean OP can't again. Not every woman is out to get you. Edit* just checked your profile, OP. I really wouldnt listen to this one. He's clearly done with women and won't have any positive input on your matter. | /r/Divorce_Men | 24/03/22 03:42 AM |
| -7 | How do y’all feel about ever getting married again?I(32) got married again after 6 years single. I stood outside of my own shoes and thought, if I was willing to do this the first time because I loved my ex-wife enough to want that. Why would I deny my current wife(then GF) the same devotion? In my opinion; you're in love with a new woman and to treat them like less because of the old one clearly shows that you have more work to do on yourself. Take your time but don't be suprised if she leaves you because she wants what you gave to your ex. Som… | /r/Divorce_Men | 24/03/22 03:02 AM |
How long did you wait before dating again?Patience was key for me when my ex and I split up. I assumed because I no longer owned a home, had all the material items I once had that women would see me as someone who didnt bring "anything to the table". I had a complex about not being "worthy" to a woman. The reality is that there are so many divorces happening that there is a vast "market" of people in the same boat or similar situations as I(many of us) found myself in. It was that or I found a lot of women close in age with me(32) that … | /r/Divorce_Men | 27/02/22 04:40 PM
How long did you wait before dating again?3.5 years. Did a bunch of self work. Traveled. Found and made the best version of myself so that I was prepared to give another relationship an honest effort. Married for over a year again and about to try for our first child. We share one(boy) with my ex. | /r/Divorce_Men | 27/02/22 03:22 AM
My wife has decided we are splitting up. Please tell me I'll be ok.Wife just did the same to me a couple hours ago. Blew my mind, don't even know what to do. I feel like I have failed for my son. It's going to be weird to tell him when he asks that jus because his mom just doesn't like me. | /r/Divorce_Men | 09/10/16 09:52 PM
