Men need to be more selfish right now. For the last 100 years, men have slowly increased their support for feminism - believing it was about gender equality. Turns out it was supremacy, not equality. Therefore, men need to stop supporting women that just want to crush them. Empower yourself and get what you want. Feminists don’t care about you unless it benefits themselves.

Feminism isn’t about equality, it’s about women getting all the good bits of equality without the bad bits. That means - lots of affirmative action for university places, STEM careers etc. That does NOT mean they become the breadwinner, get drafted or ‘date down’. That would be a sacrifice for them and, as we know, feminists can’t sacrifice - especially not for a man.

I agree with most of this, however there’s a problem with tradies. That is lower-middle class at most, meaning your pool of women is limited. Sure you’ll earn loads, but you won’t be getting a sophisticated wife (if that’s what you’re in to). Obviously, not an issue for many men but it is a limiter. There is a truth that if you can stomach the current higher education system (ie very feminine) and end up in a high paying, well respected career like law, medicine, high finance - you will have the…

A man can have a job, but that career will only give him a license for women of an equal or ‘lower class’ job. A bin-man getting paid a decent amount won’t be respected by the average woman working in an office. The standards are going up as more women receive degrees compared to men. It’s not hard to understand, but you can bet all your savings that men won’t get affirmative action, so they graduate at equal rates to women. Yet governments are scratching their heads as to why birth rates are de…

At least they’re actually admitting hypergamy exists. It’s taken years to get to this point. Obviously they have to add a HR friendly name for it - but they’re outright describing its definition. Feminist subs have long argued it isn’t true - guess the academics disagree.

Women would want men more if they were richer and more educated. Finances are the primary factor in attraction - as per this article. Feminism has ensured men earn less, so they’re now less attractive. Only a reversal of this trend will benefit men.

That would take women being open minded to what we suggest. That isn’t happening. Right now, the best thing you can do is be selfish. Be greedy. Do whatever benefits you and ignore the people that get upset. They don’t care about helping you and they’re currently above you. To equalise the situation, we need to do what we want and ignore the critics.

I was literally about to post this. I wrote a long post, so might as well post it here. Here are my takeaways: Most mainstream media articles about men getting married less/having less children are not great at discovering the root problem. This article is better than most, but still not great. The article correctly identifies that poor, uneducated men are the least likely to have children. It also points out that the wealthiest women are the least likely to be forced into childlessness. Now, I …

This is a really good point and I back your perspective. I think this applies for lots of things too: right wing = male, left wing = female being a good example. Left wing views equate to the ‘nanny state’ which looks after you from the cradle to the grave. It’s nurturing and provides motherly qualities - it’s feminine and focuses on co-operative care. The right wing is small state, go your own way - forge your own path. Create your own wealth and succeed through your own effort. Very masculine …

What I find genuinely rolling on the floor, stomach hurtingly funny (genuinely, this is so good) is that woman wanted financial independence. They entered the workforce on mass. What does doubling the labour force do? Drive down wages. Suddenly, a single woman in the 1960s goes from owning a 3 bedroom house to only affording a one bedroom flat in the 2010s. As feminism has increased in the workforce, the necessity of two incomes to own a house has increased. So, in conclusion, feminism has force…

What kind of self-respecting, rich, fit, handsome man would settle for a woman that freezes her eggs?! The average man wouldn’t, let alone the top 10%. These women are finished.

Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha. “Can’t find a partner to commit” = top 10% of men having lots of options and not picking them. Funnily enough, the top 10% do want to commit - but not to the 33 year old woman whose best days are behind her. They will commit to the best women - which is the top 10% of women.

I think many are, but they’re afraid to appear misogynistic or like an incel. The problem is, if you start complaining about the gender imbalance at universities, or that the wage gap exists due to couples choosing the mother to stay at home (or even maternity leave being more than paternity leave) the average woman will think you’re sexist. That has been engrained into the psyche of the nation. You can’t support men and not support women - even when women are drastically outperforming men. It’s…

I’ve literally never heard a femcel blame themselves. Male incels usually focus on self-improvement, hitting the gym, learning pick up techniques etc. Femcels usually double down, gain weight, buy pets, tune out of society. That doesn’t sound like blaming yourself at all.

It’s just like any other section of society. Take movies - many have been incredibly misandrist - specifically ensuring the movie replaces male characters with female ones and making sure the ‘male gaze’ isn’t entertained. These movies bomb. Same happens in politics; Hilary Clinton spent her campaign lambasting men and claiming the future was female. She lost to Donald Trump - the guy with multiple affairs/wives. Society ignores men then recoils in shock when men fight back. At the end of the da…

The litmus test is always ‘would this be sexist if the genders were reversed?’. Of course it would be - so yes it’s sexist. That being said, you might see more of this stuff in the run-up to the U.S. election. Kamala is making the same mistake Hilary did.

Whenever the word incel is thrown around in the media, it’s used to describe men that are unhappy with something. It’s not used to describe involuntary celibates - just the majority of men who see how much misandry now exists.

I don’t know exactly what the man said (it could have been irrational) but that summary suggests he may have had a legitimate complaint. But he gets banned for pointing that out. I think it’s telling that when people have to put their money where their mouth is - they don’t buy into this ideology. Reality heavily contrasts with theory in this situation. Bumble will continue to decline in value - while its 80% female workforce scratch their heads. Well, they would scratch them if they weren’t dee…

At the end of the day, we’re seeing more and more women being childless, not getting married or getting divorced. These women cite issues such as lack of economically attractive men - because they want a man that earns at least as much as them (usually quite a bit more). They also want to close the wage gap and see men having higher incomes as misogyny. What I’m trying to say is these people aren’t very intellectual. They don’t think beyond base level desires - which they can’t settle beyond. Th…

“Men have had it their way for centuries”. No they haven’t. Rich men have. People don’t realise, but most forms of discrimination stem from rich vs poor. The men that had to work 12 hour shifts in a factory, before getting drafted for war, did not have it better. Their wives stayed at home raising the children, while they died in the mud fighting abroad. The rich didn’t have to do that. It’s always been rich vs poor, not men vs women.
/r/MensRights01/08/24 12:32 PM

So they’ll happily earn more than their husband, right? They’ll happily let him quit his stressful job to stay at home raising the children, right? They’ll have no resentments about becoming the breadwinner whilst the father enjoys spending time with their children, right? They don’t want the breakdown of gender roles. They want the most preferable outcome for themselves in any situation. It’s just being selfish - dressed up as equality.

True, but I’m going to add - men need to become happy with being single. The reason why ‘incel discourse’ exists is that women have been happier on their own. Men need to accept they can also be happy on their own. Once men catch match a women’s happiness on their own - women lose their remaining power over men. Right now they can call the shots because men are desperate for companionship (not sex, that’s just an aspect of it). Men need to know they can be happy on their own. Then they can have …

I disagree with a lot of this post. I know the sentiment that you’re talking about, but believe me this view comes from their own mothers/grandmothers that never had to work. You say that women in the 1950s ‘worked their ass off tending to the home and children’. You do realise every parent does this today, except they have to work full time too? Genuinely, the housewife in the 50s had the following day: wake up early-ish, get your hair and make-up done, prepare breakfast, ensure everyone leaves…

A woman. She is trying to figure out why men are put off by her. I don’t think intimidating is the right word - rather men believe her standards would be too high. If she earns $100K, she may well want a man who earns more - which they don’t. Or she may well want a man with a PhD, if she has a Masters. This dynamic is not present with men, they are happy to ‘date down’.

How many men are earning $100K with a full head of hair, muscles, home improvement skills, good skin and hair. I’m going to guess about 5% of American men fit all of those criteria. Most men under 30 don’t earn $100K. Over 30 is when men start balding, start gaining weight etc. So if you’re a woman holding out for a man with all of that, you better be stunning because you will face a lot of competition.

I’m sure they aren’t dating those people. What they’re saying is the market is now full of people like that, because dating apps have distorted people’s perception of what’s realistic. Someone has sex with a couple people out of their league - suddenly their future husband has to be of that level, when realistically someone of that level wouldn’t marry them. It’s a general complaint about modern dating, not ‘oh no I have to date these women’.

You’re definitely touching on a broader scope of attraction. Women are attracted to powerful men. Men who can provide, protect and lead. That is ingrained in our evolutionary psyche. This also, however, means patriarchy naturally evolved as a result. Because a man with those qualities is the definition of a patriarch. Women desire this man whilst wanting wider society to be gender equal/neutral. It doesn’t make sense. It’s in essence saying men and women should have equal amounts of everything, …

Completely agree. If the relationship fails, it’s on him - not because she’s been squeezing the life out of him. Where’s the incentive for men? Why suffer this when you can enjoy life on your own? Spend your own money on what you enjoy.

They want the benefits of a patriarchal man, whilst also claiming the benefits of feminism. In essence, they want all the good bits without the sacrifices. It’s plain old selfishness - which is brewed by society. Since they were born they’ve always been told to be selfish with their education, their career, their personal life. Dating apps are so skewed in their favour that they essentially demand a rich man who will still do the housework, whilst letting them control the relationship dynamic. W…

Women beg for gender equality whilst also demanding the most patriarchal man as their husband. What happened to financial independence?! Relying on your man’s money used to be a ‘power dynamic’ according to feminists - but actually is what they want? That’s the most attractive man to women? I can’t understand what women want these days. Seems to be a traditional, patriarchal man but without his role as head of the family. Instead, the woman always has the final say. Do these people think men don…

You would imagine the outcome of dating apps is women choose men for their personality, not their traditional male role. However, the stats show women find men who fulfil the traditional male role to be the most desirable. They want a man who earns a lot. They want a provider - someone who will allow them to quit working if they want. They want a strong, masculine man. They want someone tall and handsome. These features are typical of the average patriarchal man. Gen Z yearns for the traditional…

Most men work hard to earn a lot, because they want a family. They want children with their loving, supportive wife.
