I had a lawyer friend explain it. They copped a plea with her because they didn't have a strong enough case for a conviction. It's likely it was a he said she said thing and there was no real evidence, or the kid's family just didn't want him to testify. Downvote me to oblivion if you want, but my lawyer friend is about as MRA as you get and he saw the reasoning behind it.

And they take for fucking ever. I'd rather them have a designated pisser.
/r/MensRights27/11/16 12:03 AM

Totally, but you have to know about it before you can act on it.

This is one of the things this sub should be dedicated to. We have to support our brothers because society sure isn't going to!

Like the revenge porn lady? All she did is what many of us here enjoy. She sent a guy nudes. I'm down for equality and men's rights being taken seriously, but women do get harassed online at a much higher rate than men. I know that I have rarely been harassed, and when I am, I block a mother fucker. Then they leave me alone. My wife, an author, gets harassed daily. She blocks people, they make a new account, and they continue to harass her. I know that's just our experience, but I feel it's not …

Except for the fact that the exif data on the leaked photos prove that she was 18. Unless someone changed that data there was no CP. I'm sure this will not be popular, but it's fact.

Men need to stop dating idiots like this. They will eventually get the point. It's obvious that logical reasoning isn't working very well.

The OP originally posted it here, so not really an x-post. Still, makes a great point about gender imaging in society.

To me romance doesn't equal sex, but they're strongly linked.

From my experience, I'm old as hell, you have to be sexually attracted to someone to see them in a romantic way and the people you aren't attracted to but are compatible with become friends. That's not to say that physical beauty is anywhere near the only thing that makes a person romantically desirable, but it is a good part of it.

Either way, you're not a dick IMO. If she's your friend, you should be able to talk to her about such things as long as you're not directing any dickery towards her.

I get called sexist for not liking unattractive and/or overweight women, women who are uneducated, or women who demand to be stay at homes. To expand on the last part, I'd be okay with a wife who stays at home with the kids, I just don't want that to be a goal in her life. My point is, the only women who will call you sexist for having standards are ones who don't meet them.

This is just as much about racism as sexism. I have no clue what lead you to the lesbian assumption though. Care to explain that?

This is my biggest fear being a male Secondary Education major. It doesn't help that damn near every female in my life, including my girlfriend, constantly alluded to me being inappropriate with my students and how they'll turn on me at the drop of a hat. Honestly, it sickens me and makes me not want anything to do with what I have dreamed of doing for my entire life.

I live with my old man, have an awesome successful girl and we will end up living with each other when I graduate in May. It can be done, it's just harder.

From my experience these things are reposted by angry women who have made piss poor choices in mates, what's to be expected? They throw 100% of the blame for their bad relationships on the men, and stay blind to the fact that they were part of the relationship too. I'm not saying that if they were victims of assault rape or maltreatment it's their fault. I'm just saying, don't date/marry assholes if you don't like assholes and if you're proud that you're a "crazy bitch" maybe. . . just maybe. . …

I'm sorry that my method won't work for such a tiny percentage of people here that it's unreasonable for you to be so twatty about it. Next time I'll think of the .00001% of the population when I write a post. Also, it would help and if it doesn't it sure as hell wouldn't hurt.

You're 100% right, but you also have no clue how bad off I am. If you're walking around with a defeatist attitude your chances are much less, no matter your situation.

You may be correct, although seduction is just as much mental as it is visual to me, but I'm really just saying that if I can do it so can you.

In no way do I look awesome, but I couldn't care less. I know who I am, what I want, and how to get it. I have gotten more than my share of attractive women based on my personality and confidence alone. Your statement is superficial and it may work for/on those who are superficial themselves. Sure my method takes more time, but it can work for those of us who are less than attractive.

Or just realize you're awesome. . . women love confidence bottom line.

Have we ever stopped to think that we are all partly right? After reading the article and a few of the comments refuting it in this thread, it's obvious that we're all over simplifying the issue. Basically, there are a ton of variables and we can't just say X is the way to be. X may work in some situations, but not others. I'm a nice guy, I get the friend zone sometimes. However, I have gotten my fair share of sex and girlfriends. I don't really change my tactics, but sometimes they work and oth…
