I am aware of how bears eat people

The question isn’t about if you’re definitely getting attacked (although my answer doesn’t change). It’s just seeing either in the woods on a normal day.. that’s why we choose the bear. Bears prefer not to interact.

I’m not going to explain what I mean here. You can dm me if you’d like to understand. Regardless. There’s a reason women are choosing the bear and it’s not because “that’s how 99% of the world live their lives”.

I understand what you’re saying. I just would rather take my chances with the bear. I fail to see why that triggers so many men

I’m just in New Orleans. Men harassing women is normal here 🤣 wish I had the same privilege you do.

So choose the bear 💁🏻‍♀️
/r/MensRights02/05/24 04:41 AM

Yes. And I am constantly harassed by men. What about this doesn’t make sense? This scenario is not about whether or not I’ll see a bear? I’m guaranteed to see a bear. The bear is just significantly less likely to fuck with me than a man in the woods.
/r/MensRights02/05/24 04:18 AM
1

Yes. But the situation itself offers the hypothetical man an opportunity that most every day encounters don’t. The question is not would I rather see a bear or a man in a public setting
/r/MensRights02/05/24 04:05 AM

Seems like I’ve lived in the shittier states
/r/MensRights02/05/24 04:04 AM

Yes and you are 1000x or whatever it is more likely to encounter just the man or is your question based on fantasy I don’t understand
/r/MensRights02/05/24 03:35 AM
1

Yes. That’s true. So can men. Why does it bother you that I think the bear would be a better option? I do not understand why you guys care. I just think the hypothetical bear is more likely to leave me alone than the hypothetical man.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/05/24 03:34 AM

The question is.. if you were walking in the woods alone (as a woman) would you rather come across a regular bear or a regular man. With no expensing circumstances. Women are choosing the bear. Switching that to a whole different question including little rooms and super small time constraints is.. dumb. And not the point.
/r/MensRights02/05/24 03:33 AM

I definitely gave you the legal definition. It doesn’t count being forced to penetrate as rape. That’s an issue we’ve known about.
/r/MensRights02/05/24 03:31 AM
1

And yet, if we as men say "I 'have had negative experiences with women and because of that I can not tell which women will hurt me and which will not and thus I am cautious of all women" we get called "Incels and "Misogynists" or we get told "A woman can't hurt you in the same way a man can" I have never seen this. And if nothing else I have never said this. Some guy replied to me here and said that a false accusation ruined his life so he would also choose the bear.. and I said i understand. Ho…
/r/MensRights02/05/24 03:26 AM
-4

That is true. That also doesn’t change what’s being said. Not even two days ago I had a guy sit down next to me and continuously grab my thigh. I asked him to stop. The bartender asked him to stop. He wouldn’t stop and had to be physically removed. Like yeah most dudes are nice.. but dudes are also very often not nice.
/r/MensRights02/05/24 03:17 AM
1

No? The legal definition of rape is “The penetration, no matter how slight, of the vagina or anus with any body part or object, or oral penetration by a sex organ of another person, without the consent of the victim”. Which is problematic for various reasons.
/r/MensRights02/05/24 03:15 AM

You’re missing the point. I can tell by your silly question.
/r/MensRights02/05/24 03:11 AM

There is no comparison. The whole point is that men are not like bears.
/r/MensRights02/05/24 03:08 AM

Idk man.. less than a dozen non fatal bear attacks per year? That’s an awful low number. Especially since you know people run into bears all the time.

I notice them all. Because I’m watching them all. We can agree that most men are harmless.. I agree with that. The issue is I can’t tell which aren’t

Maybe. But after years and years of nothing working.. it shouldn’t have been so hard
/r/MensRights01/05/24 11:52 PM

I don’t know which words to use to make it make sense. I’m not holding you accountable. I don’t think you’re a rapist. I don’t know you. And if I saw you in the woods, I wouldn’t see your face and think “oop.. that’s for sure a rapist”. You’re just someone I don’t know. I can’t know your goals or desires. They could be nefarious. So I won’t risk it. It’s not personal.. I just want to make it to tomorrow the same as you. I wouldn’t stop to help a woman I don’t know on the side of the road either.…

And the man could be a psycho. It’s a “pick your poison” scenario. I pick bear.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/05/24 11:19 PM

That’s absolutely awful. I completely understand why you would choose the bear. I wouldn’t want to risk going through that again either. And that’s the point. Thank you. I hope everything gets better for you.
/r/MensRights01/05/24 11:18 PM

Sure. But at this point in the discussion.. it’s a “pick your poison” argument. If I have to pick how to die.. I pick car.
/r/MensRights01/05/24 11:15 PM

I think it’s birds of a feather. The women out here are typically just as conservative
/r/PurplePillDebate01/05/24 11:14 PM

That’s not the implication. Yall insist on taking it that way and refuse to listen to the actual discussion. That’s on you. I can’t help if you don’t want to listen.
/r/MensRights01/05/24 11:14 PM

No. But I have been in the woods with a cougar.. I imagine it’s a similar sensation.
/r/MensRights01/05/24 11:13 PM

I have heard it from the man’s perspective. I don’t know how to help you understand if you don’t already. Some men get it and some men don’t. I don’t understand the difference. It must be a life experience difference of some kind.. it must allow some men the empathize while others just take offense. Idk.

If you want to ask the question in reverse.. you have to ask the same question. Ask your question you think would have men saying women are horrible creatures.. and then ask it in reverse. Don’t compare your question to the bear question. That’s not how it works lol. I’d choose the woman, because free sex. What the fuck is wrong with you people? You’re literally the man we’re scared of in the woods lmfao
/r/MensRights01/05/24 09:24 PM

If I’m out on a walk and I see them both.. I am statistically more likely to be attacked by the man. That’s all it is.

The whackados on either side of this discussion help absolutely nothing. The crazy women who make it actually an “all men are rapists” thing and then these men who can’t seem to sit and think about it and say shit like “don’t call us if you get attacked a bear” are the reason we’re even having this discussion at all. I will never understand peoples propensity towards taking everything personally and being offended and aggressive. I do not become enraged when men talk about shitty women who false…

I can only form an opinion based off my anecdotal experience. I don’t have a choice. Lesbians still get assaulted. Turning gay isn’t the answer. But again.. no one on my comments is saying that all men are rapists.
/r/MensRights01/05/24 09:01 PM
1

Sure. I agree. But not in the proposed situation. A woman commenting on a post about preferring a bear is not the same as a woman accusing someone directly
/r/MensRights01/05/24 08:59 PM
1

Have you been in the woods with a bear before?
/r/MensRights01/05/24 08:50 PM

I think the point is less about what’s more palatable (rape vs being eaten) and more about the chances of either happening. In a better world.. it would absolutely be safer to see a man off in the woods instead of a bear. The bear is a wild animal.. you’d think your own species would be safer to be around. But in this world.. statistically.. the bear is safer in that scenario. That’s fucked. And I think that’s the point.

/r/MensRights01/05/24 08:36 PM
-1

You are willfully misunderstanding. Are you also under the impression we’re talking about guaranteed prolonged contact with either… not simply walking through the woods?
/r/MensRights01/05/24 08:35 PM
1

No.. I love more than one. We are talking about internet stories. Not names to faces real people. When my brother was accused.. I did not believe the woman. These are different situations. Believing women on the internet harms no one. Believing women who are actually attempting to accuse someone directly and get them in trouble.. is a bit more nuanced and you know it is
/r/MensRights01/05/24 08:34 PM
0

Yeah no. At least not here on my comments, anyway. Here the idea is that a regular woman is out on a walk. She can either see a bear in the woods.. or see a man. Any interaction with either is not guaranteed. The choice is hers. Now, I’m of the school of thought that a man is more likely to try to approach me. I am probably safe. But I’m nervous. I know I cannot fight the man and I cannot outrun the man. Everything goes smoothly.. he just wanted to make sure I’m ok. He leaves. To me that is more…
/r/MensRights01/05/24 08:30 PM
1

It’s not about boooo men. It’s risk assessment. Bears are known to leave people alone. Men are not.

I have made it abundantly clear that I don’t hate men. I love men. I’m lying on one right now. But it doesn’t hurt me to believe, again, that at least one man in every woman’s life is a piece of shit. I’m willing to believe at least one woman in every man’s life is a piece of shit. Why aren’t you?
/r/MensRights01/05/24 08:12 PM

This is a single encounter hypothetical as far as I know.. not living in the woods. Lemme go find the link: According to FBI crime statistics rape occurred at a national rate of 42.6/100k people in 2019. 9% of those were by strangers, so your overall national risk of stranger rape in the US is ~3.83/100k in 2019.
/r/MensRights01/05/24 08:02 PM

I’d rather watch a bear eat my guts than watch some man cum to my screams while I die. Come on.. I’m dying either way here
/r/PurplePillDebate01/05/24 08:00 PM
1

Irrelevant. I don’t know why. He could have just as likely followed me for all I know.
/r/MensRights01/05/24 07:55 PM
-4

I suppose I’d have to ask how you know the accusations are false? Based of my anecdotal experience with men and my woman friends’ experiences with men.. I am willing to believe the stories of women on the internet. My willingness to believe these stories, however, doesn’t affect my overall opinion of men. It is easy enough to believe that one man in every woman’s life has done something unspeakable to her. That’s even statically accurate to assume. So where does the issue begin?
/r/MensRights01/05/24 07:54 PM
-28

There’s a roughly 3.83/100k chance of being raped by a stranger. There’s a 1/2.1 million chance of being attacked by a bear. Bears are fairly peaceful creatures that prefer to avoid humans. Their behavior is predictable. They’re just animals.. they hold no malice and have no ulterior motives. The same cannot be said of the man in this hypothetical. The bear, statistically, is safer.
/r/MensRights01/05/24 07:42 PM
-39

All the men who struggle with this have fundamentally misunderstood why women say they prefer the bear. Also bear attacks are more rare than man attacks. Idk how that gets glazed over. Edit: they banned me. So if you care.. dm me. I’ll debate you there lol
/r/MensRights01/05/24 07:32 PM

People are psychos 100%. Even women. But statistically, I don’t have to be as scared of women. And.. it’s just not what the conversation is about. The conversation is about men.. and bears. I’m aware that being eaten by a bear is gruesome. I’ve heard the sound bits from the grizzly man thing. I know about the Russian girl who called her mom while the bear at her. I get it. I can’t imagine how painful it would be. However I’m more scared of the horrors men are capable of. The worst thing a bear w…
/r/MensRights01/05/24 10:55 AM
1

What do you mean? The question is “would you rather be in the woods with a man or a bear?” I say bear. Bears are more predictable. If the bear attacks me I will die quickly as food compared to the many sadistic, cruel things men are known to do. That’s it. It doesn’t mean I hate men.
/r/MensRights01/05/24 10:15 AM
1

It’s not about being a hive mind, my guy. It’s that I know a bear would likely leave me alone. A man likely would not. That’s it. It’s no deeper than that.
/r/MensRights01/05/24 10:02 AM

Girl, you're right, sweetie, you'd feed a bear, and it would be one less misandrist 🙇🏿‍♂️ I don’t hate men. I love men. But you hoping I get killed is why I choose the bear 🥰

That’s enough social standing. Anyone who needs you to be popular isn’t with you for you. That person is weird and shallow. If I love you and you don’t have friends… you’re gonna meet mine and they’re gonna love you. Because they love me.

I like the quiet guy. It’s a preference. I don’t mind no friends. There’s a time and a place. Do you socialize at work? Do you have “work friends”? Because I’ll take you to meet mine at the bar. /r/PurplePillDebate28/04/24 04:06 PM

Unfortunately height doesn’t seem to consistently correlate to penis size. Any correlation between body measurements is so slight that you can’t accurately guess penis sizes based on anything.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/04/24 03:56 PM

Right. I know it’s making you weirdly angry. But being eaten alive ends in nothing. It’s awful and then it’s over. Some people prefer that over surviving rape and then living with the trauma

It is possible to be rejected for any reason.. that doesn’t mean that reason applies to every woman alive. Therefore.. focusing on the unchangable things instead of acknowledging that everyone is different and your height or whatever maybe not be the issue.. makes you unable to take accountability
/r/PurplePillDebate24/04/24 10:19 PM

I want to kms What? lol why?
/r/PurplePillDebate24/04/24 10:08 PM

You’re refusing to hear me
/r/PurplePillDebate24/04/24 10:05 PM

I literally did not say that lmfao. We are talking about how some men refuse to listen to specific women who have differing opinions. I’m aware that some idiots won’t date men under 6’.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/04/24 09:57 PM

We’ve literally not been talking about women’s struggles at all. Don’t be salty and start using fallacies on my comment instead of engaging with the topic at hand. Go make your own comment and be “original” there.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/04/24 09:38 PM

That’s not what I said. These things matter in different ways to different people in varying degrees. For example: let’s say youre 5’6 and blonde. I don’t like blonde men. Never have. Not my thing. That will make me less likely to be attracted to you.. whereas being 5’6 was never going to be the issue. It wouldn’t have mattered if you were 6’ either.. I just don’t like blondes. They remind me of my family. Sooo.. getting on Reddit and bitching about how short you are and how some chick (me) at t…
/r/PurplePillDebate24/04/24 09:36 PM

Bit of both. I like to have them measure cuz men over estimate themselves… and some, funnily, underestimate.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/04/24 09:29 PM
1

Not really. Maybe more strictly classist.. but looksmatch has never truly been a thing
/r/PurplePillDebate24/04/24 09:27 PM

Ah ah ah. Get this shit off my comment. No one said this but you.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/04/24 09:25 PM

Enough to be comfortable making the statement.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/04/24 09:23 PM

I didn’t generalize. I spoke only for myself. Which plenty of women do. Those women don’t care. You can include the women who generalize too.. they don’t care. That’s plenty of women who don’t care.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/04/24 09:23 PM

Obviously not enough to write a peer reviewed study about it, but 60+ gives me a bit of experience to feel fairly confident
/r/PurplePillDebate24/04/24 09:21 PM
2

I also reject that idea. From my understanding.. blue pill is just the idea that people are all individuals and there is no surefire way to be successful always. Just because some women like tall guys.. doesn’t mean all do. Some don’t care at all.. some prefer shorter (me). And there’s no point in sitting around scheming about it like the red pill does.. cuz nothing matters
/r/PurplePillDebate24/04/24 09:19 PM

I love that you think I had a good childhood and I’m in a stable relationship because of what I said. That’s quite the compliment.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/04/24 08:37 PM

What a smug belief to hold Let me guess. Normal childhood and teenage. Was loved had sex currently in a relationship with a good man Well good for you To me you just look privilege lucky naive and just spoilt The kind of feeling you would get when seeing a sone of a millionaire just talking about poverty as if he has a flying fuck of an idea? That's how I feel when I see people like you even breathe You’ve actually never been more wrong about someone in your life. Nice try tho.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/04/24 08:33 PM

Your BF is coincidentally 6’4 No? The man I spend my time with is 5’6 🤣 And dick size does matter to a degree. I won’t say it doesn’t. It’s just not as precise as the men here try to make it sound. Everything isn’t as black and white and headlined as they want it to be here
/r/PurplePillDebate24/04/24 05:45 PM
3

If that were all it took to make men happy we wouldn’t be here and they’d all be with their looksmatch
/r/PurplePillDebate24/04/24 05:37 PM

There are too many people on the planet. So obviously no. But just because you’re NT and attractive doesn’t mean you can have the women you specifically want.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/04/24 05:10 PM

It’s always a maybe. There aren’t really any hard answers in all this
/r/PurplePillDebate24/04/24 05:00 PM

And I fully agree that it’s garbage. But you can’t say that here without people getting really upset lol. Average is for sure bigger than 5.1”. But I’ll settle with just saying that my experience has a higher average than that lol
/r/PurplePillDebate24/04/24 04:58 PM

All it means.. is that in my experience.. normal is closer to 6” than it is to 5”. Because normal is subjective.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/04/24 04:56 PM
2

I don't like the that you laugh at everything. I expect more victimhood from you. Disappointed. Victim of what? 🤣 I’m not a victim
/r/PurplePillDebate24/04/24 04:56 PM

Ultimately? No. But if height isn’t the issue in this scenario.. there’s an implied chance you could rectify why I’m not interested if you accepted that it’s not your height. Maybe not. But still also maybe
/r/PurplePillDebate24/04/24 04:54 PM

We weren’t talking about the most desired height. We were talking about what’s normal to people. I said that it’s subjective based on what you’re exposed to. Hence.. 6’4 is a normal sized man to me. 6’2 looks short to me because of my family. My normal is not the same as yours. And your little graph doesn’t change that.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/04/24 04:53 PM
1

I’m not contradicting if bluepilled people are all I come across. Normal people are bluepilled 🤣 red pill men don’t go outside imo
/r/PurplePillDebate24/04/24 04:51 PM

You’re blackpill
/r/PurplePillDebate24/04/24 04:49 PM

And that’s.. not my experience. Most guys are above the suggested average in my experience. And I’m not out here making men drop trou before going home with them.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/04/24 04:49 PM

I was saying that my family is huge.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/04/24 04:48 PM

Oh for sure. But that’s not why they dig in their heels when someone disagrees with them. If I tell you height isn’t that important to me so you being 5’10 isn’t why I won’t fuck you., and you proceed to yell at me about the top 20% and what a liar I am.. it’s because you don’t want to think about why I might actually not want a piece.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/04/24 04:47 PM

Blue pill is the antithesis of the red pill. Blue pill are normal people who don’t think the red pill holds any water. You need to read your definitions
/r/PurplePillDebate24/04/24 04:44 PM

I already am. What are you talking about? lol
/r/PurplePillDebate24/04/24 04:39 PM

I grew up in a family of really tall people. Even my aunt is 6’2. I’m accustomed to men being 6’4.. that’s “normal” for me. It’s all subjective
/r/PurplePillDebate24/04/24 04:39 PM

You’re not blue pill lol There is no 20%. That’s all ridiculous and based off a crap study.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/04/24 04:34 PM

It depends on what you’re exposed to. Knowing there’s a piece of paper out there that says the average is 5.1” doesn’t matter all to me with my experience being that penises average larger than that by and large. “Normal” is just what each of us have the most experience with.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/04/24 04:33 PM

I’d argue that “average” is pretty subjective too in practice
/r/PurplePillDebate24/04/24 04:31 PM

Your study says that hip to shoulder ratio is more important
/r/PurplePillDebate24/04/24 04:30 PM

I really think “normal” is kinda subjective.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/04/24 04:19 PM

Because this says “discussion” and not “question for men”.. my running theory is that people like that need something uncontrollable to blame for why they’re unlikable. Otherwise they’d have to hold themselves accountable
/r/PurplePillDebate24/04/24 04:16 PM

Depends on the person, I suppose. I find remembering rape and PSTD flashbacks to be almost more unpleasant than the original experience

It’s such a complicated and difficult question to answer. But ultimately.. what affects the situation the most is the wellbeing of the subsequent child. The child didn’t ask to be born and will only be a functional adult if it’s raised well. If a man took the risk to have a child…. He should have to make sure that human being had a good childhood. There’s no other way that works. If you don’t want kids.. don’t fuck. Otherwise you’re accepting the risks. And that does mean making sure you don’t f…

Have you considered…… boohoo? If a woman wants you to know that she likes you.. you will know. If you’re not sure.. she doesn’t like you enough to be sure you know. And you aren’t missing out. This sub is so ridiculous. It’s not supposed to be comfortable to insert yourself into strangers lives with no invitation.

What in the fuck
/r/PurplePillDebate20/04/24 06:44 PM

…Yes, having children is important to ensuring your society and way of life continue into the future. If westerners stop having kids, you won’t be here in 200 years. The Chinese and Indians will. And? I literally do not care about the race of people who make it. I won’t be here in 200 years anyway.. I’ll be dead. Why does it matter if the whole world is Chinese in 200 years? Ain’t fuck all special about white people that we need to survive the test of time.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/04/24 02:55 PM

Oh no. Traditional gender roles might be fine at the basest point. But everything else that went with it was awful and should never happen again.

You have a very twisted view on marriage and very clearly do not view women as individual humans either feelings and wants and rich inner lives. I’ve not really ever seen anything like it outside the .is website.

You should read about women poisoning their husbands before no fault divorce was legal ☺️

In past time, yes. But not necessarily due to traditional values themselves.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/04/24 12:57 PM

She did make the effort. That’s how she got to the point of giving up lol. She asked him to help or work on something or change or try or whatever over and over and over.. he didn’t listen. So she gave up a little more every time he didnt listen to her. Then she finally left. And he had 5 million chances to work with her.. he just didn’t. She already cried herself to sleep for months. Love isn’t unconditional but that doesn’t mean it has to stop. It means that if your partner acts like shit.. you won’t keep holding on and loving them. Because that’s not realistic. But even parental love isn’t guaranteed to be unconditional. Unconditional love is an unhealthy, impossible expectation

It’s not about being sexist. If I wanted alternate views.. that’s one thing. But a woman can only speculate.. we don’t experience life as a man. That’s not the information I came here looking for. Men can’t truly understand being a woman either. I wouldn’t ask a man about a woman’s issue.

This rhetoric is so stupid. Especially from a virgin who doesn’t date men. “Cheaters usually” cheaters usually nothing. People don’t always announce their ill intent upon contact. Such a ridiculous ignorant thing to say.

My understanding of facts and absolutes is why I know that statistics are not hard facts when extrapolated. You don’t have to prove anything. It’s you who doesn’t seem to understand that when you extrapolate stats to the general population, you're essentially making educated guesses based on a sample. This introduces uncertainty because the sample might not perfectly represent the entire population. Factors like sampling bias or variability can affect the accuracy of extrapolations, making them …

I’ve met a few guys who are discouraged and confused but still engage and can be talked to pleasantly.. those guys have hope and I wish them the best. The dudes who perpetuate the rest of this garbage are alone for a reason and it’s best they stay that way until they grow up.

Mmmmmm….. agree to disagree
/r/PurplePillDebate13/04/24 09:06 AM

Desperation exists because women dont date losers? Women do date losers. They do it all the time. If you don’t meet the standards to be hypergamy-ed onto.. do better. Why does society owe anyone a match? Why should someone who has goals and standards and some idea of what she wants.. give all that up for people she doesn’t want? Plenty of women will date losers. Losers just don’t seem to want to stop focusing on the women who don’t want them long enough to see the actual state of things.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/04/24 09:03 AM

I think the issue is that we do care about looks.. just not the looks you think we do. There’s a lot of guys trying to force what they find attractive in a man on women and that’s just not how it works. There was a guy arguing about this a while back and he posted a picture of what he thought was a peak attractive man.. all women would just have to find this guy attractive.. I click the link and it’s some model looking guy with extremely sharp features. Very young looking (very early 20s maybe) …
/r/PurplePillDebate13/04/24 08:12 AM

Your world view speaks of your own values, friend. And I’m aware of how it works. I just have no basis to tell that person they aren’t normal when they didn’t claim anything for me to say that about. You tried to make a point and it didn’t work. Your desperation for a partner is not healthy. Seek help.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/04/24 06:47 AM

Oh no. Just the part about the people here not getting relationships. I believe that. They also made no statements about themselves.

/r/PurplePillDebate13/04/24 06:06 AM

Asserting that something isn’t normal doesn’t negate the subjectivity of life. Your complete lack of self esteem, self worth, and sense of self is.. not normal. As decided by society and mental health professionals. You’re still experiencing life subjectively tho.. clearly.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/04/24 05:52 AM

Life’s a subjective experience. Plenty of men disagree with you. But good luck having anything successful with someone you don’t like lol.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/04/24 05:44 AM

Oh. I must have forgotten due to all the brain damage.

No no silly.. it’s because women are slaves to their animal instincts and can’t help but be attracted to all of the exact same 20% of men. It’s evolution at work. Hold on… there’s an app? No one can speak to me without a screenshot of their SMV from now on.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/04/24 05:37 AM

I imagine it helps to also be seen repeatedly in the same place just as a way to ensure you’ll be seen again. I’m not gonna develop a huge crush on some guy I saw once on the other side of the bar.. but if I keep seeing him.. I may just say hi

Gun to your head. You’re willing to bet your life that if we took a survey of the whole population.. the average would still be 5.1”? And no. Fuck do I care about the size of men’s dicks? I just hate it when people use statistics as a “gotcha”. They aren’t one.

Are you “girl inches” the same used for a ruler or nah? Cuz you best believe I had that skinny fuckin kid measure his dick for me 🤣 shit was enormous. Fuckin size of my forearm just about. Mortifying. Only one I’ve ever seen like that tho. I saw one close to that scary but wooooo.. that was something else. Definitely rare if you ask me. Yes. About the sample collected. They cannot be extrapolated to the population with certainty. The extrapolation is based only on assumptions and cannot be taken as hard facts.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/04/24 03:25 AM

Nah. Dick length isn’t really thaaaat important to me. 5.1 is unfortunately small in my opinion, but I’d take a thick 5.1 over a thin 6anything any day. Plus.. no two dicks are the same even if they measure the same. They’re all shaped differently and used differently. One 6” might be better than another depending on the size of the head and who’s using it. My favorite dick I’ve come across? 7” on a good day. But every other 7” I’ve met.. just hurt and I didn’t care for it. Although I did date a…

Which is lovely. But it is not, in fact, objective fact. Why no one wants to just admit that it’s beyond me. Also.. it’s 58k added up together from various studies the potential for error is enormous. You can’t even tell me if the data was collected correctly and yet here you are.. refusing to admit that statistics are not hard facts outside of their sample size. This is so stupid.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/04/24 02:39 AM

I don’t care about this anymore. My opinion was that the average of 5.1” is wrong for the general population and if you measured every man in America it would be bigger. That’s my opinion. Neither side of this argument can prove or disprove that with absolute certainty. The rest is just dudes who need the average to be 5.1”. Statistics about a sample size of 58k are not facts about the rest of the population. It’s all extrapolated assumptions. I’m done.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/04/24 02:13 AM

This whole argument is so stupid. Stats are only facts about the the sample. Once you apply them to the untested general population they become estimates and could very well be wrong.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/04/24 01:34 AM

Can you confidently tell me that the suggested average is 100% accurate when applied to the general population and would be reflected if we somehow measured every man in America?

We’re saying the same things. I just don’t believe that that extrapolation is worth anything in a debate. I don’t think a lot of the stats quoted here are worth anything. I think people use the information as a “gotcha” when it’s really just one of the possible outcomes. It’s not the reality. I could be right. So could the study. I reckon there’s probably math for that. But none of it matter, in my mind, because not enough people were asked. I believe in what I can see and what can be proven. If…

/r/MensRights12/04/24 04:22 PM

This is so frustrating. The average is the average… among those specific people. You cannot apply it to the rest of the population as a fact or a truth. The point is that the study is not absolutely certain. It cannot actually prove its findings outside the study itself. Therefore.. I could be right. We will never know and it doesn’t matter.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/04/24 04:17 PM
1

And I do believe the average isn’t 5.1”. I will continue to do so and we can argue forever if you want. But it’s still just an opinion. Always was. I believe it’s 6.4ish and neither of us can prove beyond a shadow of doubt that it’s not.

Statistics are not hard facts because they are based on interpretations of data rather than immutable truths. They involve collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data, which inherently involves some level of uncertainty and subjectivity. Additionally, statistical analyses often rely on assumptions and simplifications that may not fully capture the complexity of real-world phenomena. As a result, statistical findings are always subject to revision, reinterpretation, and contextualization. While …

No. Never said it was. It’s an opinion. All I’ve ever said is that I think the average is bigger than 5.1” and if your measured every dick in America.. I believe the numbers would prove it. That’s an opinion.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/04/24 02:58 PM

Sure. Issue still being.. the statistic isn’t only a fact when applied to the specific individuals in the study. Outside of that study.. it’s just data. Not fact.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/04/24 02:56 PM

I’m aware that some stats work for some things. Dick size isn’t predicable however. Stats do not work for something so randomized. Idk what to tell you guys. The average varies from state to state and most of the states report an average over 6” 🤷🏻‍♀️ clearly something is amiss.

While it's true that calculating an appropriate sample size is a crucial step in statistical analysis, it's also essential to consider the context and the specific characteristics of the population being studied. 58k might be considered a large enough sample size in some cases, it may not always be sufficient for drawing reliable conclusions, especially when dealing with populations as vast and diverse as 165 million men. Factors such as immense variability within the population, the presence of…

Statistics can be unreliable for several reasons. Firstly, sample size alone does not guarantee representativeness. Even with a large sample size like 58k, if the sample isn't properly randomized or stratified, it may not accurately reflect the diversity within the population. (Even with a sample size of 58k, it's important to recognize that while it may seem large, it's still just a fraction of the total population, especially when dealing with a demographic as large as 165 million men. Therefo…

6.4. Give or take. If you’re going to argue with statistics you have to be willing to acknowledge their limitations. Which you are not willing to do. Whoever was arguing with me wasn’t willing to either. Stats are soft facts… more food for thought than any actual truth. 58k out of 165 million does not a hard fact make. Your exploration of masculinity and the discourse around toxic masculinity is incredibly thorough and thought-provoking. By delving into the roots of toxic masculinity, we gain a deeper understanding of how historical and cultural influences have shaped these harmful ideals over generations. I believe that’s what we’re in. Millennials are the first generation to truly grasp how big the world is and have unlimited access to all of human knowledge. It’s crazy to me that yall want so badly to be heard and understood. You want the world to change. But if anyone asks any questions.. you immediately resort to ad hom. I cared enough to ask to be educated to better understand. Now I don’t. Good job.

/r/MensRights11/04/24 02:31 PM

It’s unfortunate that we can only truly compare famous people. The point wasn’t that they aren’t elite. The point was that we all like different elite men. I think Timothee Chalamet is absolutely hideous. My sister and her little friends think he’s fine as fuck. If you take that theory and apply it to regular men.. the pools of women who find one specific guy attractive become much smaller and more specific. Just because of exposure. More people who have seen you.. more people to potentially fin…

What’s important to note is that we do not see blue pilled men posting stuff like this. They say men are blue pilled because of their success with women.. but I say already having the personality to be blue pilled is the key. Some people… are simply intolerable. Take the Alpha Dom “dating coach” guy who was recently laughed off Tik Tok. He was laughed off the platform for his weird pseudo red pill “alpha” nonsense. Ah, the classic 'men and women aren't equal' argument, brought to you by the Department of Oversimplified Analogies. Yes, we get it, men and women have physical differences. Congratulations on noticing. But reducing the entire concept of equality to a simplistic comparison of physical strength is like saying apples and oranges aren't equal because one is rounder. Newsflash: equality isn't about being identical; it's about having the same rights, opportunities, and respect regardless of gender.

It's quite a bold move to throw out statistics like 95% or even 70% without any evidence to back it up. Making up your own statistics to prove a point isn't exactly the most credible approach. The truth is, the reasons behind makeup use are diverse and personal, and trying to generalize the motivations of millions of individuals based on your own assumptions isn't a solid foundation for an argument. Let's stick to discussing the actual complexities of makeup use rather than relying on unsupporte…

Labeling all women who wear makeup as deceptive is a sweeping generalization. That's precisely why I brought up the idea of makeup as an art form – to highlight its potential for self-expression and creativity. Assuming that makeup is always used with the intent to deceive is just plain shortsighted. Sure, some individuals may use makeup for that purpose, but to paint all makeup wearers with the same brush is just bad faith. Let's not overlook the myriad reasons why people choose to wear makeup,…

Bringing up makeup as an art form isn't about focusing solely on its usage by the majority. It's about recognizing and celebrating the diverse ways in which people engage with makeup. Just because the majority may use makeup for everyday purposes doesn't negate its artistic potential or its significance as a form of self-expression for many individuals. By acknowledging makeup as an art form, we're not discounting its everyday use but rather highlighting its multifaceted nature and its potential…

Appeal to the majority fallacy. It's true that many women do wear makeup, but it's essential not to generalize or stereotype based on gender. Just like any aspect of personal grooming or fashion, the choice to wear makeup varies greatly among individuals and is not inherently tied to gender or insecurities. Some women wear makeup regularly, some occasionally, and some not at all. Similarly, there are also many men and people of all genders who enjoy wearing makeup as a form of self-expression. S…

You know, it's interesting how you dismiss makeup as "NPC" when, in reality, it's one of the most individualistic forms of expression out there. From the ancient Egyptians to the Elizabethans, makeup has been a part of human culture for centuries, evolving and adapting with each era. Every stroke of eyeliner, every dab of lipstick, it's all a reflection of someone's unique personality and style, rooted in a rich history of self-expression. Insecurity simply isn’t the main reason makeup is used.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/04/24 10:15 AM

I haven’t looked into it, but I know there are disorders that affect the ability to perceive people’s faces.. so that could play a part. It’s likely just that they never really spent much time looking at women who are truly wearing no makeup so they can’t see it for what it is

Let's not muddy the waters with inconvenient truths like individuality, creativity, and personal expression. Ah, the weary lament of those who clutch desperately to outdated notions of gender roles and accountability. Your argument seems to dance around the core issue of bodily autonomy with the grace of an elephant in a china shop. It's quite remarkable how you've managed to pack so many outdated stereotypes and misconceptions into one argument. Let's unpack this, shall we? Firstly, the notion that women hold a "sexual monopoly" is not only archaic but also wildly inaccurate. Consent is a fundamental aspect of any sexual encounter, regardless of gender. Suggesting that women have sole control over who gets sex and when is not only insulting to men but also undermines the agency of women themselves. Both parties in any cons…

Ah, so you're cherry-picking lines from the study to deflect from the fact that it was conducted within the kink community, not representative of all women. Fascinating tactic. But hey, if you're into selective reading, let me remind you that the study's methodology doesn't magically validate your sweeping generalizations about women's desires. Let’s not sidestep the issue at hand. Encouraging everyone, even those with expertise, to continue learning and exploring new perspectives is a fundamental aspect of intellectual growth. Well, it's cute that you're so confident in your oversimplified narrative, but the world of genetics and biology is a bit more nuanced than your "no shit Sherlock" approach implies. …ok. So that discredits you right there.. because penis size isn’t entirely genetic by any means. Generally speaking, it's believed that size does have a genetic component. Studies have found that there is a correlation between the size of a father's penis and the size of his son's. However, it's important to note that genetic factors are not the only influences on penis size. Environmental and hormonal factors during development can also play a role in determining its size. We also cycle… maybe four days before my period I can’t be arsed.. but.. being in a relationship with a man I want and ovulating will have me gnawing at the bars of my enclosure for a week 🤷🏻‍♀️ when I’m single I want sex almost as much as when in a good relationship.. I just have no one to aim it at so it’s…

This sounds like a sexual dysfunction.. cuz I stay hungry for the dick I want

Sounds exhausting. I’d be sore.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/04/24 03:42 AM

its sex with someone that isn’t the same person You’d think they’d just be poly then
/r/PurplePillDebate09/04/24 03:41 AM
2

As a woman… my body has almost made the grossest smell I’ve ever smelled coming from a person. So I get it. I think dudes in clubs just like to focus entirely on what’s at hand. I just always like the stark contrast of it 🤣
/r/PurplePillDebate09/04/24 03:12 AM
3

It’s not. You just don’t like that we’re all different. In truth, we can’t even all agree on actors. They’re just the crème de la crème so they get more women agreeing over them.. There just isn’t a “basis”. You cannot accurately predict who a woman finds attractive without knowing her specific preferences.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/04/24 02:36 AM

Are you under the impression that abortions cause amnesia and those women forget they were ever pregnant?
/r/PurplePillDebate09/04/24 02:31 AM

The main argument I present is that no one is entitled to your body. They can’t force you to donate kidneys or marrow because it’ll save a life. A nonsentient “clump of cells” as it were, should not have more right than the fully developed human it’s feeding off of. The woman’s body doesn’t even want it in there ultimately.. what with the chemicals it has to make to hide itself from her immune system
/r/PurplePillDebate09/04/24 02:07 AM

I’m sorry. Yes. You all have big dicks. Congrats.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/04/24 02:03 AM

Which is the human way lol. Never seen a bird with an arranged marriage.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/04/24 01:57 AM

Because we aren’t. Whatever instinct we might have had is gone. It’s been replaced by modern technology and money.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/04/24 01:56 AM

It’s unfortunate that humans don’t operate that way. Be nice if you could tell a good mate off a color instead of just guessing and hoping based off whatever each individual likes
/r/PurplePillDebate09/04/24 01:55 AM
-2

My entire argument has been that liking big dicks is a rarity.. it’s a fetish, not the normal. I’m just also telling you that 5.1 isn’t the average in the trenches.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/04/24 01:53 AM
1

I’ve lived all over America so I don’t think it’s location. And both. I have definitely asked for rulers and explained what “bone pressed” means to my fair share of men 🤣 ultimately you can feel 6ish+ inches once you know what you’re feeling for 🤷🏻‍♀️
/r/PurplePillDebate09/04/24 01:51 AM

So you say
/r/PurplePillDebate09/04/24 12:55 AM

That’s fine. It’s not right 🤷🏻‍♀️ dunno what to tell you.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/04/24 12:52 AM

I understand what the study says. I’m just telling you that I’m pretty confident those of us actually fucking the dicks will tell you that 5.1 isn’t seen often.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/04/24 12:51 AM
-1

Thank you 🤌🏻 I’ve seen my fair share and 5.1 just doesn’t happen often. Big is awful… I dumped a guy who was big because he was big. That’s when I accepted that I don’t like big dicks 🤣
/r/PurplePillDebate09/04/24 12:50 AM
1

I don’t believe in it either. I think we evolved away from it with the advance of technology and then lost whatever instincts or drives we had before 🤷🏻‍♀️
/r/PurplePillDebate09/04/24 12:49 AM
2

Like I said…. Whatever you say
/r/PurplePillDebate09/04/24 12:48 AM
0

I’m just not gonna argue with someone who thinks sweeping generalizations are useful in an argument about people’s preferences 🤣 I look at actually big dicks with a sense of horror.. and dicks I don’t want with complete indifference. I disprove your theory.. never mind my friends who have also recoiled from dicks lol
/r/PurplePillDebate09/04/24 12:43 AM
3

Certainly would be.. if humans were subject to the rules of the rest of nature. Since we’re not.. you’d think men would let it alone.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/04/24 12:41 AM
2

….whatever you say.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/04/24 12:39 AM
-1

Idk where they find those men for those studies. Not a big enough sample size.. cuz it’s not right
/r/PurplePillDebate09/04/24 12:37 AM
3

God bless ‘em 🤣
/r/PurplePillDebate09/04/24 12:33 AM
3

Then you like big tits 🤣 plenty of men are not moved by big tits and prefer ass.. turning down a woman with big tits and no ass. Men are not a monolith.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/04/24 12:31 AM
-3

6 to 6.5. 5.1 is way smaller than most people realize, I think.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/04/24 12:30 AM
6

The locker room of strip clubs always cracked me up because of this. Outside that door they’re goddesses that men throw money at for attention. Inside the room tho.. they’re just gross normal people 🤣
/r/PurplePillDebate09/04/24 12:29 AM
0

I will die on the hill that that’s not the actual average too.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/04/24 12:28 AM
5

And many men prefer smaller tits and receive flak for that. The pressure is there. “Big” dicks just hurt for plenty of us.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/04/24 12:28 AM
2

Takes a bit to figure out what you like personally if you’re told what to like before you experience it.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/04/24 12:26 AM
6

I’d argue you’re lucky for having experienced that. Behind the curtain is a strange place, but you can’t put a price on understanding.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/04/24 12:25 AM
3

I’m aware. Because we don’t function off nature. So men using it and trying to pretend like they’re just naturally so horny they can’t help it is bullshit. If nature were such a big deal.. weak men would never reproduce. That just doesn’t serve their purpose so they ignore it and cherry pick the parts of “nature” that excuse their poor behavior.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/04/24 12:24 AM
1

“Big” dicks are painful to a ton of us. That link (that I skimmed) didn’t even say what size they’re talking about. The size women want is 6.4 on average. That’s not “big”.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/04/24 12:22 AM
6

I’ll die on the hill that women are just as horny. Just as filthy. It’s just not a meme like men’s sex drives are 🤷🏻‍♀️
/r/PurplePillDebate09/04/24 12:15 AM
3

What women like is fairly subjective in practice. We may agree on various actors, but in day to day life our tastes vary greatly.. and.. has nothing to do with books.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/04/24 12:13 AM
4

what proof I’m not gonna look for studies, but an example I’ve experienced of this is the whole “big dicks are better” concept. They’re not. But the pressure to want them is pretty intense when you’re a young woman.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/04/24 12:11 AM
3

I have. But it’s always a medical issue or extreme trauma.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/04/24 12:10 AM
5

If men want to go by nature rules and pretend we’re all slaves to our biology then they should also understand that the weak don’t get to reproduce and stop complaining. The female chooses the one she thinks dances best or has the brightest colors or whatever and the ones who can’t dance and are born/hatched with weak colors die alone. Nature.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/04/24 12:08 AM
1

I mean.. no. How you get them is how you’ll lose them. But ultimately it’s not you who owes her partner loyalty.. it’s her. So go for it, I guess. Doing her man a favor.. if it hadn’t been you it’d be someone else.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/04/24 11:51 PM
1

How does it affect society in a way that is a problem? It’s not a good example of what you’re upset about, I don’t think. She’s definitely super boring but neither of the guys that are into her actually have any free will about it. Edward can hardly resist the smell of her blood and is drawn to her because of that. And the wolf, Jacob, isn’t even actually into her… he’s actually attached to her unconceived baby and his entire focus changes when Rigamarole is born.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/04/24 11:39 PM
2

How does this affect you enough for you to be upset about it? If a below average women thinks she can get a giga chad.. why is that an issue? twilight Have you read twilight? Just curious. disney movies I don’t see how these apply to what you’re saying. Like… all the women in Disney movies are beautiful? And animated.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/04/24 11:31 PM
2

I mean… Edward can’t resist her because of how her blood smells. Jacob can’t resist her because he weirdly somehow sensed he’d be creep bonded to her future baby. The “giga chads” fighting over her had no free will about it. Doesn’t really work as an example of what I think OP is trying to say. And I’m trying to understand what OP is upset about. I’m not dismissing anything.. I’m trying to clarify. Once that happens.. I’ll happily address whatever is going on here.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/04/24 11:27 PM
2

And that’s what upsets you? You believe below average women should never have access to “giga chad”? I’m just trying to pinpoint the actual issue
/r/PurplePillDebate08/04/24 11:23 PM
3

Pot calling the kettle black, doncha think?
/r/PurplePillDebate08/04/24 11:21 PM
4

I don’t know which parts of the internet you’re on.. but over here we don’t want 18 year olds in porn and would prefer for them to make that choice for themselves once they have some life experience and self awareness under their belt.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/04/24 04:31 PM
2

Sure but the next progressive step is what I described. Bella is just a plain boring girl who gets 2 giga chads fighting over her. You’re simplifying the book down to absurdity. The next evolutionary step is below average girls with 2 giga chads fighting over her. So… you’re upset because these teenybopper books will cause “below average” women to get laid? Is that… what I’m to understand?
/r/PurplePillDebate08/04/24 04:15 PM
3

I suppose the next question is to ask if you live amongst the wealthy?
/r/PurplePillDebate08/04/24 04:04 PM
2

50 shades of grey and twilight are both what I described though, and they're super popular so... Umm.. yes those are books. Both of which are notoriously trash. Idk anything about 50 shades but Bella wasn’t 25 living with her parents. She was in high school lol.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/04/24 03:41 PM
10

Uhhhh.. probably depends entirely on the woman in question since we aren’t a monolith. But you could maybe take some shows like Bridgerton/Queen Charlotte or Outlander and then just add actual sex to them.. and call that porn. “I cannot breathe when you are not near.. I love you, Charlotte. My heart calls your name.” And then just add some realistic sex and keep the show going. Perfect.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/04/24 03:35 PM
3

You could just say “I have nothing to add but I want everyone to know I hate women” instead. Save you some typing.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/04/24 03:30 PM
5

Personally.. I don’t think it’s the salary that’s making any of the difference OP has seen. It’s probably just different socioeconomic standards amongst a tax bracket we don’t live in. Wealthier people have their own culture. It would make sense to me that leaving your wife after she has your child might make you look bad to the boys at the water cooler in a way that could effect your ability to climb the corporate ladder. I dunno tho. Just a theory.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/04/24 03:28 PM
-1

Oh no.. I’m aware 60k is pretty good and definitely above the poverty line. I’m not the OP. The point is that this is where people post their takes about dating and stuff. This theory on hypergamy falls squarely in line with the point of this sub.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/04/24 03:20 PM

That’s… kinda what this sub is for. Peoples opinions on this kind of stuff. You seem to be in the wrong place.

Not a victim. Never claimed to be one 🙋🏻‍♀️ good looking out tho. Yeah anyway.. so when a word ends in a constant.. you add ies to make it plural. I’m assuming the singular version of “cuckys” is “cucky”.. that ends in a constant. So.. it ends in “ies” in English. Just adding an S makes it seem possessive. Like “babies” vs “baby’s”.. babies is plural.. baby’s is possessive singular. So.. overall “cuckys” is just bad grammar. Hope this helps.

Yeah my definition of a pedo is the actual definition. But go off, king. You’re one of those guys who’s hates feminists so much he just became the exact same thing but in reverse. Have a good day, buddy. (Also when you pluralize something you gotta use “ies”. Just “ys” is possessive and doesn’t make sense.)
/r/MensRights08/04/24 02:10 PM

No? Lmfao. What on earth. I can’t even agree with you jokers without yall being assholes. She’s literally a creep rapist. She should be put under the jail. Pedophile just isn’t quite the right term. It bothers me when everyone lumps all child predators into the same wrong category. Then creep ass people can say “I’m not a pedophile they’re not prepubescent children”. We need to demonize the correct terms so these people can’t escape being labeled as anything less than monsters. Or whatever mumbo…
/r/MensRights08/04/24 02:03 PM

“Used” that’s real nice. Love the whole dehumanizing of women thing that happens here. Jeez.

/r/PurplePillDebate08/04/24 10:16 AM

Never said it was. Just seems like an odd thing to complain to us about.. since the level you say this was taken to is clearly not a pervasive school of thought amongst the majority women. And sure, I get that. Raise your sons well and hopefully they won’t fall victim to abusive relationships.. but it happens. Be there and supportive if it does. All you really can do.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/04/24 10:15 AM

It's very cool, Bateman, but that's nothing. Look at this……… Eggshell with Romalian type. What do you think?

Why are you wasting time thinking about people you have no intention of being involved with
/r/PurplePillDebate08/04/24 09:50 AM

Time and a place, darling. You must let points about other things be made without trying to steal the spotlight for yourself or no one’s going to listen to you. Women cannot make brotherhoods for men. Women trying to be there in place of those brotherhoods makes it worse. Like I said. There’s nothing women can do about this specific issue.. and I did say “specific” didn’t I?
/r/PurplePillDebate08/04/24 09:03 AM

I agree. Shouldn’t be too terribly hard for women posting opinions to prove they dated the man in question. Such communities would need heavy modding.

She barely meets the qualifications for pedophile.. a pedophile is attracted to prepubescent children. She’s a rapist. Edit: it’s hebephile guys. She’s a hebephile. Use the right terms so people can’t duck deranged behavior.
/r/MensRights08/04/24 08:31 AM

What does what women are attracted to (which is individual and subjective) have to do with gender equality?
/r/PurplePillDebate08/04/24 08:16 AM

I’m not dismissive of men’s issues. I’m dismissive of men’s issues being used to strawman out of a conversation about how men need to be kinder to each other. If you want to talk about the changes needed for men in general.. I’ll find you on posts about that. But this comment.. this conversation.. is about how disgusting men are to each other. And how yall need to cut that shit out and be there for each other in the way that women are. Focus.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/04/24 08:15 AM

This thread is about how women have a sisterhood that men don’t have. I said men need to figure out how to build that amongst themselves and women can’t help build a brotherhood. You went off on some fucking tangent. Build the brotherhood, my guy. Compliment the homies. Be the change. Stay on point.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/04/24 07:47 AM

I mean. I might. Idk. I didn’t read what you said after you completely disregarded the entire message of this specific thread and went on a whole tangent about something else entirely.

I mean… look around this sub. Are many men not miserable? Look outside. Look at the rates of mysterious deaths before no fault divorce was a thing. It’s there. It’s getting better for women and it seems like a good portion of men don’t know how to fit into a world where women are genuinely their equals on all levels but (usually, not always) physical.

I will acknowledge that men who don’t know how to appropriately be emotional are unattractive. Just like unregulated women are. I will acknowledge that boys are raised to be as unemotional as they can be. That’s wrong and causes many problems. None of those things are excuses for anything though. Adult men are just that… adults. Be the change you want to see in the world. Emotional men who are well adjusted and express emotion in a healthy way are highly coveted among their functional women coun…

We don’t genuinely know much about our ancient ancestors. I’d like to think things were more equal back when we genuinely did need each other. But I agree that became less and less as we advanced. I’d have to sit down and go find the point in history where the traditions of treating daughters like property became a thing. I know at least as far back as biblical Greco Roman times women were not allowed the same freedoms as men and were considered property. The whole “virgin until marriage” is an …

Women have been bought and traded and used as status symbols and disallowed from autonomy for most of history. Having a “better like than someone else” isn’t the same as not being oppressed. Some slave owners treated their slaves well and their slaves led nice lives… they were still oppressed.

Ok but there’s literally nothing we can do about this specific issue. Men need to be nicer to each other in the way that women are. That’s the answer to this specific issue. Women being nicer to men makes it worse.

Watching my best friend.. SAHP. But ultimately it’s probably a personal preference
/r/PurplePillDebate07/04/24 01:11 AM

And most people don’t report. So. The data is useless. Unless you believe that men rarely get raped?

Ah yes.. women are the delusional ones.. for.. checks notes not wanting to date people they don’t like.

They must not have felt comfortable enough to have told you. Or you only know a couple women. Because that’s not even statistically possible. But thanks for playing.

“Luckily” nothing. lol. That’s not how it works. I will likely never be kidnapped by a serial killer.. that’s true. Won’t catch me taking chances tho. Cuz that’s the thing.. most people aren’t dangerous.. but the consequences of being caught by that 1 psycho lands you in the Toy Box Killers sex dungeon. I’ll be cautious and hyper aware of my surroundings instead, thanx.

/r/PurplePillDebate07/04/24 12:12 AM

Not sure what you mean by that.. but no. I know a ton of women from all walks of life. Starting with my own mother and moving onward..
/r/PurplePillDebate07/04/24 12:04 AM

Why do we have to talk about this every week? Why is it so hard to accept that men are scary and let it be? If you’re not a monster.. then you aren’t the man we’re talking about are you? So why be up in arms? I don’t know a single woman who hasn’t been raped. I think that’s reason enough to be scared of men.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/04/24 11:52 PM

Stay under the blankies. No but.. yeah men are the only scary thing in the night 🤷🏻‍♀️ never really had much of a city bear problem

I personally don’t know a single woman who hasn’t been raped. In the full meaning of the word. So there’s that.

My bad, g. Lemme be clear. I don’t know a single woman who hasn’t been raped.

I wonder what planet they’re on Why? Is there something else in the dark you’re scared of?
/r/PurplePillDebate06/04/24 11:46 PM

No. But how are we supposed to know which is which? If you’re not a danger to women.. why are you concerned by them being worried about the men who are?
/r/PurplePillDebate06/04/24 11:42 PM
1

Are.. are we talking about the literal process of physical evolution or are we talking about how our bodies work and how that affects our survival chances and why we might have evolved to behave in certain ways? lol. No ones talking about alleles. Genotypes aren’t the topic here. Men being meant to be monogamous for the survival of the species is what we’re talking about. Why did we evolve to have useless babies for so long? How does that affect the survival of the tribe? You can offer me theori…

The blue pill exists solely to be the antithesis of the red pill. As a joke. But uhh.. yeah. Ok. Please link me the study with the irrefutable proof of how we evolved and exactly why. Since it’s so simple.. it’ll be easy.. cuz all scientists agree, right?
/r/PurplePillDebate05/04/24 03:10 PM
1

Not one single time have you solved the issue of the man in question being related to all the women around him. What does a peer reviewed study have to do with evolutionary biology? It’s all guesswork. What we know to be true about ancient history/evolution changes constantly.. because we don’t actually know anything. But please… link me to the study that solidly answers all these questions about our purpose with irrefutable proof.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/04/24 01:36 PM

Grandma holding your babies doesn’t make them easier to feed.. nor does it handle the issue of having very few unrelated women nearby? I know you want to believe you’re meant to sleep around and that’s your excuse for not liking monogamy, but it doesn’t work. Maybe just.. be poly and let that be ok.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/04/24 03:15 AM

I LITERALLY addressed why genetic diversity would be difficult to maintain? How would she know the strongest man in her tribe is weak if she’s never really seen any other men? You also failed to address how these men would be able to care for their many babies? You’re having this discussion in bad faith and intentionally misunderstanding me. Have a nice day.

Isn’t it not super common in Europe? I imagine America will catch up. Most the people I know leave it up to the father.. and often the father chooses to circumcise because he was and doesn’t know any differently. My brother was snipped for medical reasons and he wants to do the same to his kids. Edit: I just asked two men and they both said they’d also get their sons circumcised Edit edit: makes absolutely ZERO difference to the woman as long as it’s clean and functions properly. Sure I’ll break it down. Be respectful. You aren’t “right” about anything. You can’t be. No one has these answers for sure. So debate me if you like.. but don’t be a dick. Who mentioned faithful loving partners? That has nothing to do with anything either. Are you making this emotional because you’re emotional or because I’m a woman? Having more than one fresh baby to a single man is impractical.. especially in a survival situation. But in order to properly debate this.. we need to establish how…

Before I read all that, what does marriage have to do with evolutionary biology and sexual psychology? Nothing. You brought up marriage. Not me.

A divorce rate proves nothing outside of an inability to effectively choose a mate/an inability to effectively be a mate. It has little effect on our actual needs? Nature doesn’t give a fuck about your happy marriage.. it cares about the continuation of the species. You can’t effectively do that in a poly “spread your seed” situation. That’s just the fact of the matter. Most especially not back when we lived in small tribes. Spreading your seed/not having one mate would ruin your gene pool and g…

I read the post. The lifestyle you describe has nothing to do with being an influencer.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/04/24 09:25 PM
4

That’s not a lifestyle remotely unique to influencers.. most people who live like that are not influencers. What do influencers have to do with anything? Since when do people not want to be wealthy and pretty? “Travels a lot” has fuck all to do with influencers. “Child free” has fuck all to do with influencers.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/04/24 09:16 PM
6

Yeah. So. Influencers are often partnered with brands, promoting products or services to followers in exchange for monetary compensation, free products, or discounts. These content creators have access to a large audience and can share information to persuade others through their authenticity and reach. Simply being “pretty, rich, and childfree” has fuck all to do with it lol.. it would seem to me that “influencer” isn’t the word you’re looking for.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/04/24 09:09 PM
4

I was just making sure that’s your definition before asking you why the actual definition of “influencer” doesn’t matter to you?
/r/PurplePillDebate03/04/24 09:01 PM

….and you think that defines “influencer”?
/r/PurplePillDebate03/04/24 08:58 PM

People don’t just expect to be influencers. What are you defining as “influencer”?
/r/PurplePillDebate03/04/24 08:47 PM
6

But that’s not your argument is it? You’re trying to assert that women want to lead the lives of influencers. Different topics. All that tells us is that you have a problem with influencers specifically.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/04/24 08:25 PM

It’s not even a city problem. The women like this are few and far between. Most people grow out of wanting to be internet famous, I think. It’s a newer phenomenon.. but my brother and baby sister both had the dream… grew out of it tho. Cuz it’s just not attainable without luck.

Not wanting kids is almost always a bit deeper than “detrimental to looks” lmfao. What?
/r/PurplePillDebate03/04/24 07:11 PM

Depends on your goal. If you’re being paid to humor men to create an environment where they’ll spend money and get drunk.. you approach all men. Any women who work in service industry will tell you the same things women who spend their time sitting at bars do… men aren’t out here throwing themselves at any pussy who smiles in their direction. They don’t need to. The portion of men that gets talked about here.. is the exception. Not the rule. Men are pickier than you think. Even the awkward ones.…

I don’t understand how this is invalidating anyone. Strangers don’t remember strangers. I’m not saying “no will remember you ever because everyone hates you”.. I’m saying “no one remembers decent strangers enough to sit around talking shit about them after they’re gone”. If anything you’d think that’s comforting. That’s like being worried people walk around thinking about your zit and then telling people about it later.. they don’t. No one cares.

The stats are ridiculous (here’s an article about the study) You can’t live your life off them. They also say that people who are satisfied with their sex lives are more likely to cheat. /r/PurplePillDebate30/03/24 02:26 PM

Like with anything else in life.. there’s just no knowing. Worrying about it simply doesn’t help anything. A virgin can cheat just as easily as anyone else. Might as well focus on the attributes that make your time together pleasant instead of focusing on what might happen in the future. Anecdotally, I am a whore. I have never cheated. My first husband? Was a virgin when I met him.. and he left me for a 17 year old 🤷🏻‍♀️ worrying is a waste of time.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/03/24 02:19 PM

Depends on who you ask. I don’t care about body count because.. why would I? They either want to be with me or they don’t.. body count doesn’t affect that at all. They’re going to cheat or they won’t.. worrying about it doesn’t serve me.

Men need emotional support too ♥️ check up on your homies and learn to communicate your feelings with each other so you can have intimacy in your life outside of just one woman. failing to uphold their end of the social contract What social contract is that? Are we obligated to keep men company and fuck them? I don’t remember signing that.

You obviously aren’t reading what I’m saying and you’re definitely not using critical thinking. Bring this up with your therapist.

Lmfao. Don’t make it about race, first of all. Secondly, it’s women’s fault if they suck and it’s their responsibility to go get the help they need. Just like men. Talk to your therapist about your crap views and self pity.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/03/24 10:49 PM

No. If any adult sucks it’s their fault. But we’re talking about men. Hence my word choice. I’m in therapy, are you?
/r/PurplePillDebate20/03/24 10:19 PM

I define healthy productive manner the way it’s defined in psychology. The science of how wrong you are. Men and women aren’t different. That’s society you’re raging against. And men have controlled that long enough for all the “big boys don’t cry” shit to be their fault. You can’t deny that. It’s not going to change until yall start raising your sons differently. Get therapy. This is a learned skill. It’s your responsibility to learn how to properly communicate and emote. There is no “men and w…

Because I don’t believe men grow in love like women do. I believe it’s either there initially or it’s not and nothing can change that. I don’t believe men and women love the same way.

I simply don’t agree. Going to the gym doesn’t make you of greater value than anyone else. I know plenty of men who don’t go to the gym at all that are lovely people. It’s an irrelevant personal choice. And nothing’s gonna catch up to me lol you don’t know me well enough to even kinda make a suggestion like that

I think often times it sends a message that that person has discovered who they are and they’re confident enough to be that person. I don’t wear makeup. It’s time consuming and I don’t care enough. I don’t care what anyone thinks about that tho.. I know I’m stunning when I want to be. The rest is irrelevant. So if a straight man is wearing fingernail polish.. perhaps it’s because he knows he’s masculine and his nails being a color doesn’t change that about him. The rest is irrelevant. There must…

Im not introverted. I’m a bar fly. He’s the introverted one 🤣 but that’s not an issue. We have different lifestyles 100% but it’s because he wants to work out for hours a day and I’d rather put ice picks in my eyes.. All you’re doing is making these snap judgments on other people’s value based solely off your own values. You think him being a gym rat is more valuable than my being a bar fly so you think he’s of higher value. I’m just naturally in shape and never needed/wanted to go to the gym. I…

I also have a crush on this man
/r/PurplePillDebate20/03/24 06:01 PM

Let’s use a different example. Say he was a foodie instead of a gym rat. That wouldn’t work for me either. I don’t like trying new foods. I don’t like traveling either. Am I of less value because I don’t want to travel the world trying weird food?

I don’t want the opportunity. I don’t want to change who I am for someone. That’s not authentic. And I’m not giving the opportunity either. I don’t want someone to change who they are for me. That’s stupid. There are so many people on this planet.. why change who you are for someone? Your sense of self is supposed to be stronger than that. Being able to chameleon and having no set values is mental illness. We make fine friends. I encourage him and he encourages me. Our lives are better for havin…

I weigh 120lbs at 5’5. There’s nothing wrong with my body by society standards. I just don’t care to spend my free time in a gym. We don’t value the same things. That’s ok. It has nothing to do with my actual value. I can date a muscular man who isn’t a gym rat if I want to. A man who doesn’t make going to the gym his whole personality and doesn’t expect me to go with him.. but instead wants me to play video games with him and go to concerts and stuff. It’s based on enough to be friends. Not enough that we’d get along romantically. Example: He’s the very active gym rat type.. I’m the opposite. I don’t want to be with someone who’s going to drag me on hikes and make me go to the gym and eat healthy. I don’t enjoy that. I like video games and dive bars 🤣 but we’re both huge dorks with impeccable memes and I don’t mind listening to him talk about his passions.. so it’s enough to be friends, but not enough to combine our lives. A large portion of it is, yes. And until recently I’d say it was all men’s fault. But if Gen alpha is broken too.. that’s everyone’s fault. And as an adult man? Yeah. It’s your fault. Communication is a learned skill. Learn it.

I think we have different ideas of what the man loving her more looks like. She still loves him in this scenario.. so she’s not going to treat him poorly? Because that’s not how you treat someone you love? I’m not saying the guy is in love and the woman is just there for no reason lol
/r/PurplePillDebate20/03/24 04:50 PM

No. That’s wrong. Yall wanna act like you’re not human.. And then yall wanna talk about some “male loneliness epidemic” as if you don’t do it to yourselves. Learn how to have friends.

/r/PurplePillDebate20/03/24 04:47 PM

That is the stupidest thing I’ve ever heard on here tbh. I can’t imagine taking friendship as an insult. Not everyone is romantically compatible. That’s ok. That’s not something to take personally? Like.. no wonder you guys are so miserable and angry.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/03/24 04:45 PM

My side is essentially just the opposite of OPs. I believe (and have been told by little old ladies) that the man has to love you more. I also believe that a man knows really quickly if he loves you.. and if it’s not there almost immediately.. it never will be.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/03/24 07:23 PM
4

That’s not how the discussion is had though. Neither side is ever willing to compromise and accept that it might just be a relationship to relationship situation. I have never in my life seen a relationship work out where the woman is the more interested party.. but I’m willing to accept that might work for other people.

Accidents are, by definition, unintentional. Look, buddy, you’re clearly incapable of empathy or expanding your horizons or even understanding. You live your life as carefree as you like. I’ll live mine how I want to. Telling women to be less careful is such a weird thing to do. Why does someone else’s concern for their own safety bother you? Touch grass.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/03/24 05:29 AM
1

While it's true that the chances of being in an accident may be higher than being murdered, the risk is still very real and serious. It's also important to consider the intent behind each type of harm. Accident are usually unintentional, whereas murder is a planned and premeditated act, which adds another layer of threat and uncertainty. In terms of the idea that it's only rational to fear your partner but not other men, that's also not quite accurate. The reality is that we can't predict where …
/r/PurplePillDebate13/03/24 10:03 PM

A red herring involves introducing an unrelated or irrelevant point in order to distract from the main argument or to change the direction of the discussion. In the conversation we’re having, the argument was about whether my concerns about my vulnerability and being a potential victim were valid. The issue of weapon use is still related to the point about vulnerability, so the use of this point would be considered a strawman rather than a red herring.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/03/24 09:02 PM
1

He’s lying about his “observations” 🤷🏻‍♀️
/r/PurplePillDebate13/03/24 08:52 PM
1

The fact that some people have survived murder attempts doesn't mean that it isn't a serious and devastating experience. The potential for death and long-term physical and psychological damage are still very real and frightening possibilities. There may be some cases where people have survived in a remarkable way, but that doesn't make it any less frightening to consider. The prospect of this kind of threat is enough to create a real fear.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/03/24 08:50 PM
2

By focusing solely on the size and weapon aspect, you’re essentially ignoring the main point and instead arguing against a distorted version of the initial argument. So, your response is actually still a strawman.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/03/24 08:46 PM
2

The conversation devolves into this because saying “your list is wrong. We don’t actually feel that way. It’s a meme” doesn’t seem to work.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/03/24 08:40 PM
1

I have to assume this isn’t entirely true. If it were.. I can’t imagine OP would be asking this question at all. Regardless.. fuck anyone who doesn’t care that you feel the same things they do. That lack of empathy speaks to me of narcissism and no actual care for you.

An appeal to extremes fallacy is a bad-faith argument. This is because the way in which it exaggerates or distorts a viewpoint or argument in order to make it easier to dismiss or rebut doesn't really engage with the root issue or the core argument in a fair or logical manner. The end result tends to be rather dismissive or condescending, and it doesn't really encourage productive and meaningful discussion or debate.

Strawman.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/03/24 12:06 PM
5

It might be true that accident deaths are more common than murder, but that doesn't mean that there's no difference between them. Accidents are usually spontaneous, unplanned, and unintentional, whereas murder is a premeditated act with a deliberate intent to cause harm. The severity and lasting impact of murder makes it a much more significant risk, and it's only natural to be more fearful of something with such dire consequences. I may survive a car crash. I won’t survive being murdered.

2

Tu quoque.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/03/24 11:49 AM

You appear to be ignoring the significant difference in severity and predictability between accidents and intentional harm. It's true that accidents can occur and result in injury or even death, but those dangers are usually fairly low-level. These incidents are usually relatively spontaneous and cannot be predicted or mitigated in advance. The likelihood of being murdered as a woman by a man can be reassuring in the sense that it means that we're not likely to experience such a situation. Howev…

/r/PurplePillDebate13/03/24 11:17 AM
3

False equivalence. Those situations are not analogous. While there is a threat of danger in both situations, the nature and circumstances of the threats are very different. The potential harm posed by other things is usually relatively minor and can typically be mitigated by taking basic safety precautions. On the other hand, potential harm from someone with the intention to murder you is much more serious, and it's not always possible to reliably predict or prevent such a threat.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/03/24 11:17 AM

Maybe men think it’s “weak” for them to be frightened? Idk. It’s probably almost definitely social conditioning. And yeah.. guns are a good idea. But not everyone can have one. They aren’t legal in all places of the world.. so it’s not a sure fire solution. Plus.. I’d like to make it to a peaceful death without the trauma of being attacked and then having to kill someone, you know? Yikes.

I too have been in danger and experienced violence. More than once. I’ve been followed home by absolute creeps. I don’t understand either. It wouldn’t bother me at all if men were more careful and situationally aware. I don’t know what exactly.. I also wear my seatbelt, look both ways, read warning labels, google interactions between medications, and chew my food carefully. My answer didn’t change? I don’t understand. Men should be more concerned. More responsible. That literally negates nothing I said 🤣 My answer doesn’t need to change because men are more likely to get murdered by other men. There’s still a chance I could be murdered by a man.. isn’t there? Yes or no
/r/PurplePillDebate13/03/24 10:46 AM

It’s because men know how dangerous men can be. And we know how dangerous men can be. We all have either been assaulted at some point to some degree or we know someone who has. Or both. We’ve heard the stories and watched the documentaries of murderers and serial killers and cold cases. Idk about anyone else.. but I’d rather have a ton of pictures of license plates than end up a revisited corpse in the woods (see: Ted Bundy)

You mean.. do I live my life doing my best to avoid unnecessary dangers? Why yes. Yes I do. It’s why we wear seatbelts and use turn signals. Why we have the FDA. Why we read warning labels. Why we own guns. Why we lock our doors. Why we look both ways before crossing the street. Things can just up and kill you. No. But it sure would have been devastating not to have it if I did. Do men do stuff like that? Do they fear dark parking lots? Do they fear walking home alone? Walking at night? Why not? So you’re telling me.. men are strong enough and crazy enough to kill other men.. to the point where they do it all the time.. and I, a 5’5 120lbs woman, am supposed to be comforted by that? That doesn’t track. Not only are men more likely to be unhinged.. men are also more likely to just kill people who might actually be able to fight back? Oh that’s easy. It’s cuz of the very real threat of being murdered by a man 🤣
/r/PurplePillDebate13/03/24 09:13 AM

Sure. I was just bringing the whole thing full circle. Though I don’t see why the 35% who like OLD matter in a discussion about how people are suffering due to over abundance of options and/or laundry lists
/r/PurplePillDebate13/03/24 04:12 AM
1

Ultimately we don’t have enough stats to know exactly why the percentage of that age group is struggling. Or even how they are. How many of those 9 million people think OLD makes things harder but also have no problems meeting people in other ways? What percent of them are socially inept? There are a lot of questions that need answers before we can blame OLD or the imagined pervasiveness of these “laundry lists”.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/03/24 04:03 AM

Ohhhh. My bad 🤣 Ok so what’s your point lol let’s debunk that too.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/03/24 03:51 AM

/r/PurplePillDebate13/03/24 03:50 AM

I didn’t think the 35% that think it makes finding a partner easier mattered to this conversation
/r/PurplePillDebate13/03/24 03:41 AM
2

That’s the part I quoted.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/03/24 03:37 AM

There are 53.5 million adults 18-29. 53% of 53.5 million is 28.3 million. According to your source only 33% of that demographic thinks OLD has made finding a partner more difficult.. that’s 9.3 million. That’s 3.6% of the population of the US. The number is negligible. OLD is not responsible for your issues.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/03/24 03:25 AM
4

Once you read the entire article.. the numbers get dwindled down to negligible. Not enough people both use and struggle with dating apps for this to be as common as you want it to be. Again.. I swiped around for 15 minutes and saw zero laundry lists in anyone’s profiles.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/03/24 03:02 AM

Your own source says “Three-in-ten U.S. adults say they have ever used a dating site or app, identical to the share who said this in 2019.” immediately when you open it Again. 30%.

They’re with average women. Because nearly the entire population is just average. And to be honest.. I see more of these dudes batting out of their league than not. Just because you need a man to look like a movie star to be attracted to him doesn’t mean the rest of us share that affliction. What’s attractive is an enormous spectrum.

I just downloaded Tinder and set it up as a man and swiped for a good 15ish minutes.. didn’t see a single laundry list. Can’t be that many. Also. 30%.

Not everyone uses apps. And not everyone has a laundry list of requirements on their profiles. As of 2023 only 30% of US adults have ever used OLD. And of those how many are prudish jackasses? The numbers are negligible.

Lmao. Which is super funny cuz I’ve only ever heard the dudes in these communities mention these definitive rules. And every time, a slew of women appear to disagree.. and every time the men accuse the women of lying or something 🤣 such a strange phenomenon. Beauty is subjective and most people have a range of what they’ll find attractive. No well adjust adult is walking around with a clip board going “oh youre only 5’11… oof. Sorry pal”

Lots of things happen. Doesn’t seem relevant tho. Most women have women friends and love each other. Most women are supportive even of strangers (see: women’s restrooms). I worked in a women only industry for years and only had maybe 1 or 2 rivalries in that time. Taking something you’ve observed in a minority and applying it to the majority in a sweeping generalization doesn’t work. This must be a Gen z thing because I have no idea what’s even happening in this post. Yall are letting apps dictate how you treat people? 🤣 Regardless.. you can do better. That’s the thing.. there is always better. There always has been better.. apps have nothing to do with that. It’s up to each individual to decide when they’re done with their search for what they want. And you don’t owe anyone anything.. no one does. I thought that was obvious.

I wouldn’t call it pining. It was dating.. where I was the only one invested in a future. And I regret each relationship and should have left sooner. A hard learned lesson. Also. Never claimed to be a monolith.

Do you know what the word “anecdotal” means? when the man stops trying, things fall apart Of course they do. A one sided relationship can’t last forever. Her liking the man more will drag the relationship on way longer than it should go.. but ultimately being neglected destroys you from the inside out. That seems.. obvious. the woman needs to feel pursued Why is that such a difficult awful thing? I’m not understanding why you’re so put upon by the idea of maintaining a relationship. If maintaini…

Relationships fall apart without maintenance. There is no stability without effort. The “comfort” you’re talking about is a death sentence. And no. Men wanting to chase is a very common trope. Hence the quotes. I didn’t make that up lmao.

Nice ad hom. Really makes it seem like you’re capable of defending your stance. /s It’s because I have an anxious attachment style. Regardless, I’m quite agreeable for men who don’t have toxic shit takes that perpetuate the emotional suffering of the very men they claim to care so much about.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/03/24 02:04 AM

Nah. If you’re not receiving affection, you’re in the wrong relationship. Nowhere did I say the woman offers no reciprocation. Get your toxic shit off my comment.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/03/24 01:51 AM

As a woman who has chronically liked men more than they liked me… I disagree with this entirely. I believe that if a man senses the woman is way into him.. he stops trying as hard to maintain the relationship. It’s the whole “men like to chase” thing. Being too easy is boring. Blah blah. But I also believe that if a man doesn’t “love” you from the jump.. he never will. Anecdotally, the length and happiness of the relationship rests heavily on the mans shoulders.

/r/PurplePillDebate11/03/24 06:28 PM

I don’t see how “pick up after yourself” or “don’t raise your voice” or “please text me when you’re going to be late” and other related issues can be misunderstood.

/r/PurplePillDebate11/03/24 06:06 PM

Wrong. That is not the comment I replied to. This thread isn’t talking about the scenario in OPs post hardly at all. The comment I replied to has its own specific scenario.. which is men faking quality of character to get laid and then reverting to being shitty after they get “comfortable”.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/03/24 05:51 PM

Yes he is. Because it is. Because if the issue isn’t worked out.. if there’s not a compromise made.. if there’s no effective communication.. the marriage will end. That shit piles up and strangles the relationship.

It’s just being careful. That doesn’t mean I walk around thinking everyone’s a rapist. The thought process doesn’t get that far. I walk around thinking I need to be situationally aware and do my best to avoid any sketchy situations. The people around me are irrelevant. I can’t tell who’s dangerous and who’s not just by looking. I’d behave the same way if there were no people around.. don’t walk down a dark alley. Lock your car door when you get in the car. So on.
/r/MensRights11/03/24 07:39 AM

I guess there’s a chance that would happen. In my experience.. the relationship ending is when I leave.

Because that’s not what we’re talking about, sweetie. If you’d like to make a whole thread about the man’s POV.. feel free. But that’s not what I replied to so it not what I’m talking about. In this scenario, the woman is being neglected and she’s actively pursuing solutions via compromises that the man fails to uphold. It’s a one sided relationship.. which is what we’re talking about. Don’t strawman.

Honestly the “not all women” and “not all men” thing bothers me. Because it is all people. All people are potentially a threat. It’s safer to assume they will assault you than not to. It encourages situational awareness. I’ve been assaulted by men and women. Women are worse by far in my experience. Assault by men is scarier, but women are entitled and gross because they’re women and don’t see themselves as a “threat” so they do what they please. I’m sorry you had to find out this way, but you do actually have to put effort into relationships for them to work. Clark Kent is inept. You must have forgotten what we’re talking about.. let me help. You start dating a man who in the beginning is the most affectionate partner you could ask for. Showering you in attention love and affection. It feels so surreal because this is how you would love to show up in a relationship. You are physical touch love language hands down. It's how you connect and you are feeling it. Then after 6 months that constant stream of affection which felt so effortless to receive starts coming at a trick…
/r/PurplePillDebate11/03/24 12:16 AM
1

That’s what we’re talking about. Pretending to be something you’re not to secure the relationship and reverting to your useless, inept true state when you’ve secured the bag, as it were. The whole comment were replying ti was about the man doing less and less and less to maintain the relationship. Emotional neglect. Clark Kent, in this metaphor, is the complete lack of effort said man slips into after he’s done pretending to care.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/03/24 11:50 PM

Putting on makeup isn’t completely faking your ability to connect and care for someone. Pretending you genuinely care for someone just to turn around and emotionally neglect them once you’re comfortable is a really shitty thing to do.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/03/24 09:38 PM
-2

Then they shouldnt be in one. If who you are as a person isn’t enough to get you into a relationship and you have to fake a bunch of stuff to attract people… well.. you’re not a very good person
/r/PurplePillDebate10/03/24 09:31 PM
1

Nahhhh. I think that once the chores things get to the point where people turn to Reddit.. it’s just too late for like 99% of marriages. The husbands gotta put in the effort from the jump cuz once a man becomes your child.. it’s hard to see him as anything else and doing the laundry now and then won’t fix it. No amount of chores is likely to bring back the sex. But staying on top of the chores indefinitely will aid greatly in keeping it going.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/03/24 07:41 PM
1

…no. There just isn’t anything arousing about having to follow a man around the house and clean up his messes. Having to take on the entire mental load for the house by yourself isn’t an aphrodisiac. Having to do everything yourself while he sits on his ass every chance he gets makes him unfuckable. At a certain point he just becomes a nuisance.. a child. Not sexy. So.. yeah. You’re wrong.

Couples counseling isn’t about convincing the other person to fuck you lol. 9 times out of 10 the bedroom is dead because the husband turned into a loser. It’ll fade a bit here and there.. just to come back just as strong as it was before. No one I’ll ever compare and he’ll forever be the only person who makes your skin buzz. Personally? I don’t think that’s love. I don’t know the word for it.. but it’s something else. I have one of those. It’s been 10 years for me. It’s a strange overwhelming biological drive. He’s like an intrusive thought. He’s in everything I do. It’s exhausting. But I don’t think thats love. Mm. Same boat. I believe in love.. just not the tv version of it. I don’t believe it’s a feeling or unconditional or even inherently good. I think love is a choice 100%. It’s what lust/desire turns into if you make the choice. But I don’t think it can come from a cold logic decision. You can’t marry someone for logical reasons and expect to find love there. At least not without an incredibly effort from both parties.

No one’s debating that. Fetishizing criminals in general is just different than fetishizing rapists. You’d have to find the number of women who fetishize rapists for any stat about women into criminals to be used in this discussion

Men have always been allowed to be with women they find cute, pretty, beautiful etc. Women used to just have to take what they can get. Mens needs and wants were always prioritized in dating and now that's flipped. This makes a very fine point. To father her young and give them the very best genetic chance possible. But that’s not how it is. It can’t be. If it were, we’d all be attracted to the same exact things.. and we very simply.. aren’t. Sure we can all agree certain actors are hot, but those aren’t real people.. it’s not applicable. So when you bring it down to earth and apply everythin…

Genuinely.. what is the issue? Everyone gets rejected sometimes. Sounds like you’re living a normal, regular life where not everyone to find attractive feels the same way about you cuz that’s statistically impossible.

I feel like we need to acknowledge that what’s attractive changes constantly. There was a period in history where fat people were considered the most attractive. There was a period in history where women went out of their way to give themselves huge foreheads. There was a period in history where men wore heels. It’s all ever changing. Even just in our lifetimes.. remember when heroin chic and flat chests were the thing for women? And then somehow we got to the Kardashians. Like… just chill out. …

It’s almost definitely not what either of us think it is, but it’s fun to theorize. I have the opposite experience lol. I have seen men claim that movie kinda style of love. Now I’m not a scientist and I can only speak anecdotally, but I live in the school of thought that women should seek out men who love them more. This is because I am convinced men can’t grow in love. Hey buddy. No. Just…. No. Not for nothing, but genuinely there aren’t many regular situations more uncomfortable than being out and enjoying yourself and then suddenly having to do the emotional labor of having to figure out how to tell some joker no thanks. Telling people who might scream at you or follow you home or being super mean or kill you “no” isn’t pleasant. If you find a woman who does genuinely find that pleasant? She’s nuts and you dodged a bullet anyway.

learn to read Learn to make sense! Also.. no. Staying longer has fuck all to do with anything. Staying longer in a relationship that isn’t right for you helps no one. Cheating typically includes fucking other people and lying. Dumping someone is none of those things. Moving on isn’t cheating and you’re not gonna make that make sense so it fits your narrative. More men cheat. That’s just the statistic. Don’t be a cheater and it’s irrelevant to you. Life goes on.

It is a bit regulated. It’s unfortunate, but they can’t watch too closely or no one would make any money. People want to be “allowed” to push boundaries when they spend a lot of money. The only time that’s an issue is instances like this. If I stop that dance, I loose the $1000 they spent on the vip room because I didn’t provide the service they paid for. You’re right. It does. It’s an awful twisted thing that put a lot of people in bad positions. I can’t imagine what my male dancer friend went through in that moment where she *tore his foreskin* and he was very likely not allowed to do anything about it because at the end of the day.. he’s a man and she’s a woman. I’ll give a man a dance over a woman any day. Maybe I just had extra bad luck, but that aggressive competitive stuff? That’s low key violent. Especially from women who don’t see dancers as women. There’s a disconnect somewhere in society that makes sex workers less than human to a surprising amount of people, but something about women who hold that view is just extra offensive. Like.. That’s a ridiculous hypothetical. You can’t base your perception of reality off ridiculous hypotheticals. If the only way you can make your point is by assuming a situation that bears no resemblance whatsoever to reality, then you don't have a point worth making. Put women in a room with those guys and a bunch of others. Women will flock to different men in the room. I choose neither of these men. While guy 1 isn’t ugly, he’s not attractive to me either. That’s how preferences work.

I can acknowledge that guy one is not ugly, but he’s not my type either and I wouldn’t pick him out of a room of men. People you think are ugly? Someone else thinks is hot. Being “not ugly” and being “wanted by everyone” are not the same things.
