Thank you so much for your response. My schedule is the hardest part, to be honest. I'm up between 3:30 and 4 am every morning. Because of my RA, it takes about a half hour to be able to just bend my fingers. Then I do the dishes, pack my lunch and lunches for the 3 kids(because she will have a melt down trying to feed them). So when I got home from overseas 14 years ago, I got custody of my oldest 2 within a month. Then, I lost it 6 months later due to becoming homeless. 12 years ago when I got sober and went after custody of my 1 year old son I hired my in the elevator of the court house with tears in my eyes right after the first court hearing. Not being able to talk to anyone about ANYTHING. I find it so interesting and frustrating. The "be a man" mind set. Here in west michigan you have a few religious organizations that are contracted through the state. Lutheran services recommended i go to the YWCA for wife beater classes. I was forced to go with the risk of never seeing my son again if I didn't. Even though it was only an accusation. No police or hospital report. I had to fight CPS,LUTHERAN SOCIAL SERVICES and the court for over a year. Only when she ran put of money for a lawyer was mine able to prove that the accusations about abuse were totally made up. Funniest part was when the judge called her an outright liar in court. I had proof stacked higher than mt everest but it didn't matter because I was accused of abuse on her. I fought like the third monkey trying to board Noah's ark and man was it pouring.

My ex wife left me when I was in the army. She took both kids 5 and 6 at the time. I got an honorable discharge and got custody.
