Loud and proud is a tricky one. It’s pretty easy for anyone fighting against misandry to be thrown into the Men’s Rights and MGTOW bucket, labeled incels, etc. I feel like if it’s too blunt, that is precisely what will happen. Far, far too many people believe that if you fight misandry you’re a misogynist. It’s a natural reaction for even well-meaning people to label you as such, just because they’ve been socially conditioned to do so. You also don’t want to be caught in a loop where you constan…

I truly appreciate the empathy. I’m pretty much over it at this point, but it really fucked me up at the time. I had to move back in with my parents for a while afterward and it got pretty dark. I can’t say I’m even mad about it now, as weird as that sounds. By no means have I forgiven her, it’s just not worth my time to even let it bother me. It gave me evidence and an anecdote for every time I hear some dumb shit online about how men can’t be raped or sexually assaulted or whatever. Her life h…

My wife, yeah. She knows most of it. This was before I knew her. If I was with my wife at the time, she would have skinned that chick alive.

They are occasionally on point, indeed. The “cancel culture” thing is another issue where conservatives were correct, until they went totally r/FoxBrain with it and started applying it to anything and everything.

I woke up to a friend’s wife who got me shithouse drunk trying to fuck me about ten years ago, physiological aspects not being on her side. Told her we can’t do this or something like that, passed out again I guess and woke up to her trying again, but at that point I was with it enough to get out of bed and go get one of my roommates. I’m pretty hazy on the details. I don’t remember much except waking up the next day and this psychopath is in my bed. Go get my other roommate and she proceeds to …

Yeah I’ve done all of those things and frequently for a few of them, barring the holding my breath thing. That seems a bit much. These are all things properly functioning human beings go through.

Thousands? Closer to millions, I’d wager.

If you actually do this I’ll be really curious to see how it plays out.

Oh I fully understand. It’s sick that this is what it took, rather than the “trap your man with a pregnancy” thing. But I mean you nail someone where you can. I will say though, the issue isn’t her mocking him, it’s the fact this is a pretty big mockery of anyone with the same medical condition. If you read the petition, it says exactly that. It only mentions Phoenix once, to point out he was the person who she insulted which started the whole thing.

Which is why I argue that alcohol is possibly the worst drug in society- it’s cheap, legal, judgmental attitudes are low, and it impairs you more than the vast majority of drugs way quicker. It’s also super easy to overdose on. (“Alcohol poisoning”, when we don’t say “opioid poisoning”, has always made me chuckle. Call it what it is- an overdose)

I dunno, if I was dating someone with a lot of cash and was hitting rock bottom financially and they wouldn’t help, that would piss me off. Male or female.

I don’t quite understand why this can’t be true, timeline-wise. Per Wikipedia: “The first known formal use of the term astronautics in the scientific community was the establishment of the annual International Astronautical Congress in 1950, and the subsequent founding of the International Astronautical Federation the following year.” The first group of astronauts were publicly named as such by NASA in 1959, when she was 12. I mean I can’t stand that woman and it’s most likely bullshit, but the …
