It's better to be kinda average but with a normal personality, than to be above average in many things but then have some kind of mental disorder.

rely on luck Well that is what dating is so... You have to be at the right place at the right time. Unless you're good looking and take advantage of online dating.

Maybe it's something else than your tits. No one cares if got small tits, just work on that ass if you're really insecure about looks :D

Hey at least the men not engaging in basic hygiene boost my standing in the dating pool :D

That's not a requirement in a sense since that's expected by default... I don't have to list all basic human functions as requirements. "I want someone who eats healthy and brushes their teeth and showers at least every other day"

Okay where can I find girls like that :D I've been told that I'm shy but really I'm just stoic and most people don't have anything interesting to say.

This kind of advice is fine if it's coming from someone who's 30+ and never had a relationship. But when this advice comes from someone who hasn't been single for longer than a couple months in their life then it's merely condescending.

I am a man and hookups disgust me. I don't even want to be touched by someone I don't have feelings for. I was talking to a girl that I was kinda close with and somehow we ended up talking about Tinder and dating and she nonchalantly mentioned using Tinder for hookups before and I instantly lost all interest in her.

Aside from royalty, being a woman in a modern civilized world you are the most privileged being in the history of humans.

if you're ugly, muscles won't make you much more attractive. But usually being in good shape you CAN give a very different vibe even if you acted the same way while being skinny or overweight.

Why does it have to be high value man? Are you a high value woman?

Your "shit" is probably average. Most people end up with an "average" person or die alone.

I hate to sound like an incel but dating apps haven't been good for me and that's the number one advice that I've gotten from my irl friends or associates. "just fire up tinder bro" Not counting overweight women I get about one match every other month or so and if they even chat then they always ghost. One ghosted me after we had already set up a date. I live in a small country so other dating apps are kinda dead, Tinder is the go-to. I'm just personally hurt when people say that online dating i…

Then why would you even mention online dating as potential for dates? Yeah lottery is also potential to get rich.

I'd like to see the Tinder's mode experience of the normal guy compared to a woman. I think women don't get that it's impossible to get anything in there as a normal man.

My "mirror" woman based on my own features: slim and in shape has a career I'm 6 feet tall so she's short then I guess (?) face average/not ugly But this kind of woman is already out of my league somehow even though she's supposed to be my match...

I'm a bit drunk at the moment but I just feel like unless you have a good social circle then you don't have a chance. I have no idea how to meet women unless I cold approach. Tinder yields me 1-2 matches in 3 months and if they carry a conversation then they will just ghost me before a date. I'm not hating on anyone nor do I believe in any pill but I'm just really frustrated because finding someone isn't supposed to be difficult. Most people past a certain age have someone. All of us in this sub…

Then an attractive guy comes up to her, says "ay, how ya doin?" And she lights up immediately in 5 seconds of knowing him. To my past self and younger men out there: this is the point where you don't start going into a super pleaser desperate mode trying to win the girl back, but instead start ignoring her and not treating her like a unicorn.

Getting into good shape is much more of a "quantifiable strategy" than going out.

Comments like this make me feel like it's impossible to meet someone if you don't have a huge circle of friends or are already out of school in the work life.

Maybe I don't understand you correctly but I haven't skipped any steps you mentioned. I see working and having my own place as the minimum requirement for a woman to be into me at all. There's nothing special about me or 99% of people. I don't really put much thought into why I'm working right now. It's just my routine. I workout, eat healthy and do other things not for myself directly but to become attractive to women. But that is yet to happen in my 25 years of living. But there is hope still.…

How little you understand. If I would find out for 100% certainty that I would never find anyone then I would never work again and would just choose to be a burden for the society. I'm not gonna work on your fields if I can't reap some of the crops for myself.

I'm the prize for a specific woman who is a prize for me. I wouldn't want to be with just anyone and not everyone would want to be with me.

No I don't believe in any of the pills because I actually go outside and see all types of men and women together who shouldn't be with each other based on all of these pseudo science bullshit.

It always ends with: you should be happy by yourself and not rely on others. Which makes sense, but if I could reach "100% happiness" alone, why would I ever want to pursue a relationship because that comes with its own donwsides and sacrifices to make it work.

My standards are: not fat not a crazy bitch not too much older than myself I can't afford to go lower than this and I think I'm totally fair and justified with these standards :D

Everything else aside I am a lottery winner for being born in any of the nordic countries. Some of the dating related stuff doesn't really apply here, like I think the biggest thing being the bar culture. Here people kinda go to a bar with a small group of friends and don't really go talk to strangers that much. It can happen but as a dating strategy: not reliable at all.

The average life in a western country with porn/internet/food is comfortable enough so you don't have to get out of that comfort zone to do anything with your life.

Well they know that they get to have the fun in college and settle for the IT guys later or am I mistaken? Not everyone's like that but I've seen that kind of thing happen.
