But what about gay people?

It was whenever my dad told me to never hit a woman, even if they hit me. I thought to myself, “Hmm, that doesn’t seem fair.”

Omg these papers… what the actual fuck?!

I really can’t believe I just read that. What a load of garbage that paper was. Holy moly that was unreal.

NGL I would honestly divorce my partner if they did that to my son.

Is it TERFism to believe that trans-women shouldn’t compete in women’s sports? If so, I’m a TERF.

Well hey, that seems pretty good! Hopefully it’s low because they’re genuinely happy in their marriages and not low for some other reason like dissatisfied but unwilling to leave, etc.

No problem. 👌 hope you have a good day/night as well.

Perhaps! I’m not sure if I’ll ever get married, so I can’t speak to that for certain. But hm I wonder how divorce proceedings would go? 👀

Mmm I’m not sure! The way I see it is that a femboy is still definitely a guy but kind of feminine, and they also identify as a guy, while a trans-woman fully resembles a woman and identifies as one. So either way, you’re having sex with someone who more or less has some feminine characteristics, at least superficially. If it’s just a BJ, then I think the jury’s out haha I can’t really say!

But on that note, I’d definitely have sex with a femboy, and I’d MAYBE have sex with a trans-man/trans-woman, so who knows if I’m even gay??

It’s an interesting idea. I got banned from r/gay for saying that I think having sex with a trans person makes a person at least a little bit bisexual.

Haha you and me both!

Well, I don’t have to worry about getting anyone pregnant (thank goodness, because I don’t want kids). I think gay guys are also somewhat less demanding than straight women, but I’m just speaking out of my ass and don’t know for sure about that one. Downsides are that society doesn’t take gay unions seriously and stigmatizes gay people as being defective or wrong or whatever else. Even though I’ve got thick skin, it’s detrimental to anyone (but especially to the younger, more impressionable gene…

Well the “apart from getting flamed by some” takes up a lot of bandwidth, especially during childhood. It certainly wasn’t fun having to hide from my parents and friends who I really was, or genuinely hating myself and thinking I would be going to hell, and deservedly so. Nowadays I don’t care, but it definitely takes a toll, and I’m still dealing with my tortured thoughts from that part of my life. As for the differences, I think straight couples can more openly show affection in public without…

As a gay man—being gay is OK sometimes.

I agree with you that it causes permanent damage, and I agree that in 99.999% of all cases it should never be done. I don’t think we disagree that much. I’m not knowledgeable enough about how to actually treat painful problems with the foreskin. As I already mentioned, if you are correct that there is no legitimate, medically necessary reason for a circumcision, then I agree that it should never be performed and even banned. However, I DON’T know if that’s true. What I’m saying is that if there …

I guess I should clarify. I didn’t mean to imply that people should be able to choose to get a circumcision just for any reason. Obviously then we would get nowhere because nothing would change. But if it’s medically necessary—and I do mean “necessary” not “cosmetic” or whatever else—and a doctor has already presented other options first, and the patient has tried the other options and still has a poor quality of life, and both the patient and doctor agree that circumcision is best, then I think…
/r/MensRights05/04/24 09:23 AM

Well and I acknowledged that other options should be presented first, and it’s ultimately up to the individual. I’m sure there are some extreme cases where some individuals believe that circumcision would be best for them, and to that I say it’s their body, their choice. I personally wouldn’t do it, and I don’t think circumcision should be advocated as a primary treatment; it should be treated as a last result. But to say that it should never be performed even in the most extreme cases I think i…

Well I mean I don’t know; in actual cases of medical necessity where there’s legitimate pain or problems with the foreskin or something, I can see why someone would want a circumcision. But certainly not without consent, and certainly not to a baby. Even then, there are probably other solutions that should be offered first before jumping to circumcision.

It’s abusive in all cases except medically necessary ones or ones where the person is able to consent to the procedure.

I stay away from women. Because I’m gay.
/r/MensRights14/02/24 09:23 AM

It’s a barbaric practice that needs to be outlawed unless it’s absolutely medically necessary.

Don’t you know we live in a world where if the man gets raped by a woman, he still has to pay child support to the rapist? Why would we require DNA testing? Honestly, you’re right, though. I just have low expectations, at least for the USA.

Well, to be fair, I'm quite mild when it comes to focusing on appearances. I do like to look nice, but some gay people just take it to another level. After having dated someone whose fantasy was to pick my outfits, I can confidently say that I don't care all that much and want nothing to do with any of it haha.

As a gay guy, I find that I obsess over MY face and body, but I’m not too picky when it comes to others’. OK, maybe I’m SLIGHTLY picky, but who isn’t?

Bruh I totally relate to you! I don’t have long hair, but I at one point had a MASSIVE beard, and the only people who negatively commented on it were my aunt and mother. They tried DESPERATELY to get me to shave, and the only reason I did so was because I got a job in Japan and I was worried about how it would be received in that work environment. I go back to the U.S. this August, and when I get back, I plan on growing my beard back lol.

Women sometimes leave when their husbands get ill. But feminists don’t want to admit that.

Unless there’s a medical complication, uncircumcised.

His mistrust and attitude towards you are ancillary issues entirely. Regarding the paternity testing, specifically, yes, a man should absolutely be able to test whether the child is his. I think any parent, period—man or woman—should be able to test whether the child is theirs (though this would, for obvious reasons, be a right most exercised by men).

Not really because there’s nothing I can really do about my situation regarding that aspect, so it’s a pointless waste of time that just drains my energy and makes me upset.

Well yeah, of course. So how to find a gay guy that 1) you find attractive, that 2) also finds you attractive, that 3) shares your values/morals/lifestyle, that 4) is part of a small demographic, and that 5) wants to actually get in a serious monogamous relationship is fairly difficult.

Well I can only guess. But from my experience, many gay guys are party animals. Nothing necessarily wrong with that, but that type of personality bleeds into other areas of life, including relationships. This sort of “care free” attitude can mean that many gay guys are immature or just outright uncaring about their partners. It may be considered a burden to “settle down.” Getting drunk, watching Ru Paul, and hitting bar after bar is the lifestyle of many gays. A partner might disrupt that, espec…

Not alone at all. Gay guy here. It’s just as tough haha. Not worried though. I provide for myself, and if someone comes along, that’s fine too. But I’m not out looking to get in a relationship necessarily. Doesn’t bother me that I’m single. It’s very freeing. No attachments. No burden.

Can someone tell me how Elon Musk fits into all this? Is he on Amber Heard’s side?
