I just always cringe when something in a post title is spelled wrong. But I'm behind this petition. That police dept is a a bunch of overbearing assholes.

This is someone who was significantly hurt by a male in her life. I feel really bad for her and for any male she comes into contact with. Hopefully she will get some help soon, to work out these issues.

Forgiving the incendiary nature of this post, I will say as a feminist - maybe humaist is a better term - and as a male that the sexes will never be equal, because of the differences that exist and because of our natural survivalist instincts to perceive differences as either bad or good. Any side can rant and rave about who is better, who is more put upon, who has less rights or privileges, but it is a problem without a solution.

The only way that I feel it's overstepping a line is because it is a charged issue as of late, due to media coverage, and people's sensibilities are a little raw about it. But think about it: why is it considered acceptable to cut a male's genitals for whatever reason (and any that you may come up with I can and will refute) but not a female's? Like I said, male circumcision is on par with female labiaplasty, so if that's the argument you want to make I would use that term. But another way to th…

You're kidding, right? Brother, there's nothing wrong with your penis. In my opinion, you were completely within your right to ask her about cutting her own genitals for YOUR comfort, if thats what you really want (although the cosmetic term is labiaplasty). However, as a couple's therapist, my guess is that if you're having arguments that end up with her "kicking you out" then there is something wrong that goes beyond a little bit of skin. Before you go mutilating yourself (and personally I wou…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
