Men are most victimized by other men, which is again, not a way to blame them. The overly violent and toxic ideas that are put in young men's heads hurts everybody, men and women alike, and like you said, men are the ones MOST affected by this, but you don't seem to realize that for some reason. The show doesn't demonize the boy, it very clearly shows how negative coverage of women leads to misogynistic views in boys and young men which leads to violence against women, which happens all the time, so I don't know why you say "murders that don't happen". It's not meant to blame him necessarily, but to show the impact of his environment, which is part of why they chose him to be so young so they could highlight that more clearly.
