She may just not be a long-term planner. So she's a woman. Women capable of independent long-term planning are exceedingly rare.

Even if she made them TODAY it's too late. Going down from 260? That's years worth of work. Years in which her last rotten eggs would run out.

That's basically my plan. If I'm doing first class it's on the flight across the Atlantic to to Wacken or one of the other big festivals. Domestic? Cram me in economy and I'm just going to nap through the flight anyway.

They drive a simple car, they don't own mansions, they buy clothes off the rack. They splurge when they want. Hey that's me! Late model midsize pickup, clothing all comes from chain stores, but I will drop a few hundred at a time to go see concerts in other cities and like to hit at least one festival a year. Or drop a couple grand (or more...) on guitar stuff every now and again. Basically I don't live large but I don't deprive myself, either.

That's because women are shallow. When they say "good" they mean "hot". A dad-bod engineer pulling a quarter mil in just salary - not even getting into total comp - a year isn't "good" according to women. But men have been conditioned to think Women Are WonderfulTM and so ignore the fact they're actually even more shallow than the worst of the old-timey stereotypes said they were.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
