Which I assume refers to adult females with mental issues from some kind of abuse. Well, that is your error. How does "lol, i dare you to tell that to a vulnerable abused child. stop fucking up, kid! why are you making all these grown-ups hate you?!" imply that I am talking about women?

editing because my initial response was irrelevant without addressing one first point here--why are you responding as if anyone was even talking specifically about women? the preceding comments reference "people who have had the misfortune of being on the recieving [sic] end of abuse and trauma from people of the same gender repeatedly and some ever since birth / childhood." quite obviously that includes many men.

lol, i dare you to tell that to a vulnerable abused child. stop fucking up, kid! why are you making all these grown-ups hate you?! wouldn't this statement apply to all of the men on this board who struggle in their interactions with women?

It ignores the people who have had the misfortune of being on the recieving end of abuse and trauma from people of the same gender repeatedly and some ever since birth / childhood. while it might "explain" or provide context for behavior, trauma is not ever a justification for mistreating others in any capacity. from this viewpoint we must accept that some people just HATE women, men, black people, etc., and will behave towards them accordingly, thus reproducing trauma ad infinitum. edit to add:…

no, mostly because i'm not really interested in doing the extra legwork required to cover my bases as far as legal protections/medical directives go without a marriage license. i make a lot more than my husband so i'd be the one to lose out if we divorce but for me it's a calculated risk i'm willing to take. i can understand why others would feel differently and don't really care how people structure their relationships. edit to add: also the wedding celebration itself was so great and a high po…

The child would have two parents, one of which would stay home with them. this is really interesting. how do you think this would shake out if you split after one parent had been staying at home with the child and not earning money or advancing their career? i'm not talking about childcare but rather lost earnings and opportunities and the effect of that. i'm glad you and your husband were able to co-create a great situation for your family. that's cool.

Here the use of "if" conveniently signals to us that other possibilities/motivations exist (including those noted by OP immediately prior). otherwise it would be unnecessary to use this qualifier. Hope that helps.

or they end up with older gay men who want to exploit them as older straight men exploit vulnerable young women. what's the common denominator? i think this board seriously underestimates and/or misrepresents male-on-male sexual violence.

That's on the military to figure out. Superior camaraderie has never and will never mean much when it comes down to a civil rights battle, and that's what it's coming to with women who are fighting the discrimination at hand.

so why should women be picky when they have recreational sex?
/r/PurplePillDebate02/05/20 04:33 AM

take it a step further--women aren't just "not required," they are not allowed. we're in agreement here. if you need help getting connected with some orgs working on this policy issue i'd be happy to help you out.

i actually don't think that really reflects the reality of military service over the past few decades and especially into the future. we're not out there bayoneting each other anymore. and either way, it's still sex-based discrimination.

do you think that the only sane or emotionally healthy way to have sex is to do so with the intention of conceiving a child?

many, many people--including women and women's orgs--believe that women should have to sign up for selective services. personally i believe that my inability to sign up is outright sex discrimination and have contributed to efforts to change this. https://www.nytimes.com/1981/03/22/us/women-join-battle-on-all-male-draft.html (circa 1981) https://now.org/resource/issue-advisory-women-and-the-draft-moving-two-steps-closer-to-equality/ (2016) https://www.servicewomen.org/swan-updates/swan-joins-coa…

our dating and intimate relationships aren't necessarily for procreation in another recent comment you said that women "have little other purpose but being genetic selectors" and for this reason should "absolutely" be picky where casual sex is concerned (topic of the thread). how would you square that with your awareness that human social relationships transcend evolutionary imperatives?
/r/PurplePillDebate02/05/20 04:07 AM

how is this an example of women who are a part of gov-funded orgs endorsing "kill all men"-type sentiments, on twitter or elsewhere? i don't understand how linking me to this org would resolve the debate at hand.

"radical feminists in feminist groups" is not a meaningful illustration of anything. it's a huge category of people that does not represent some unified organization much less one that gets any particular type of funding. you're deluded if you think radfems aren't outright abhorred by most libfem orgs. but the women in the organization do on public platforms on twitter. "the women" in WHAT organization? give a fucking example!
/r/PurplePillDebate01/05/20 07:47 PM

yes, planned parenthood is a government-funded organization. however, u/sir_manalot was making a claim that some government-funded orgs express or otherwise endorse "kill all men"-type speech, not that government-funded organizations simply exist. are you missing part of your comment?
/r/PurplePillDebate01/05/20 06:01 PM

How do you propose people debate if they aren't expected to substantiate their claims? This is a serious question.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/05/20 05:41 PM

Uh, after I was provided with a source I would accept the premise of the argument. Currently I don't have any robust evidence to support the claim.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/05/20 05:40 PM

well, you still haven't named any organizations but given the way you are responding i frankly don't think you really understand this conversation anyway.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/05/20 02:45 PM
12

provide a source rather than merely reiterating a point for which i requested a source. if it is helpful to you a good place to start would be to start by naming a "government-funded feminist movement." generally, organizations are funded, not "movements."
/r/PurplePillDebate01/05/20 02:38 PM

You have to also remember that women knowingly decide to share the top 20% of men throughout their 20s who mistreat them and reject the bottom 80%. there have been multiple threads and conversations this week alone and you still don't understand the pareto principle?

how would young men's "plate-spinning," "dread game," etc. contribute to this ideal?
/r/PurplePillDebate01/05/20 02:13 PM

But a woman who preaches “kill all men” is not only okay, but groups of them get funding from the government. please provide a source of a government-funded organization who has stated "kill all men" and retained funding.

This makes zero sense. Explain to me how one would objectively determine that they are more attractive than X% of their gender in order to objectively determine that they are X/10 on a 0-10 scale. You're just describing the inherent subjectivity in a slightly different way. Also prove to me that attractiveness is a perfectly normal distribution that would facilitate the math you're proposing.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/02/20 02:59 PM

I dont get this logic. If you can only get girls "leagues below your level" doesn't that mean... That's your level? I don't really buy the whole 0-10 scale personally but don't follow this line of thinking at all.

i feel like "repressed and boring" are actually pretty obviously thematically linked to the idea of "shaming women for dressing trashy." you really don't see that connection? it really makes "no sense in context?" i don't think i have the time to explain the connection between condemning sexual expression and the presence of sexual repression. i guess boring is a bit subjective to be fair 😂

absolutely not. we have a semi-open relationship and both hook up with other people if we discuss first and are both comfortable. bypassing this agreement would be a complete and total annihilation of trust, and trust is the bedrock of our partnership.

i don't think women have more of a need than men to feel special. i think that males are socialized not to express their emotional needs in the same way that women are and, based on my observations, i do think that a lot of women don't go out of their way to make their partners feel special in the same way they expect (gifts, favors, spontaneous affection) which is pretty hypocritical. making your partner feel special and chosen should be a priority for both genders and everyone should expect* t…

i feel so sad for men who think enthusiasm and excitement is "porn-like" sex. i don't know how to answer this because i don't "provide porn-like sex." i have sex the way i want to with my husband, which is exciting for me and makes me feel very enthusiastic about what we are doing. it's not something i offer to him in exchange for him being a nice husband, it's a natural byproduct of being a sexual human and loving his dick.

it's not really scary to women when, as she said, prostitution and fleshlights haven't made it any harder for women to succeed in the SMP. if anything they just keep the "undesirable" men out of sight, in their bedrooms playing with silicone.
