Man I’m really trying. Usually I can, but she just feels right. It’s worse bc I know I fucked it up and I had a chance. Part of me wants to let her know later how I feel, just super direct and put the ball in her court, idk man I feel like a dumbass lol. If it was just us two I know I would have escalated further but I chickened out of fear of hurting long term existing relationships

Yeah I regret it, though I don’t quite know if I’d still change what I did. I’ve known Jane for 20 years, and I know she’d find it super awkward and get upset, and therefore I’d potentially have to navigate stuff with my long time best bud. Wasn’t going to risk jeopardizing that for some chick. I think just deep down I wish that if she in fact is judging me for being “weak” in this situation that’d she understand the friend politics. So maybe we weren’t compatible anyway

I get what you’re saying, totally agree that I’m on my mission and if women want to join me on the ride then yeah that’d be awesome but I’m not gonna be a desperate creep. I’ve always been able to have that attitude…except now, and it’s killing me lol

Thanks man for the honest input. Yeah I get it’s nothing unique-I just felt like there were a ton of moving parts that I needed to account for here, more so than usual, and let alone I don’t live there. I get it’s part of being a dude though. I agree that I missed the window and should have manned-up. Lesson learned. We’re all late twenties adults. I guess what I’d be interested to hear from your perspective if you think that window is fully closed, or if I have a shot by going NC / playing it c…
