I don't see anything in what you've written that shows he's a leader. If you're having this much stress now, imagine how it would be if you marry him. Dating is the time to see if you're compatible to spend your life with someone, not to try to work on all the things that stress you. My first marriage was to an absent minded clumsy man who expected me to take the man's role and lead. I was miserable, and he couldn't even decide what to wear the next day and I had to pick (no lie, this really hap…

You don't understand RP at all. RP women build each other up, we encourage each other to be strong and not put up with bs from men. We don't say we care about all women then make comments like that. We build our daughters up so they know they don't need layers of makeup, or need to settle for a man who won't marry them, or show their body to attract a man. Me being RP means I respect myself and other women too. All of us have traits that others would think is ugly. If you don't think all of us a…

How sad that women don't build each other up and do things like this instead. I would expect this type of comment from a man, not a fellow woman. This is why I will always say new age feminism is a lie and just noise. Until women actually build each other up, it's all just noise to me. We are our own worst enemies.

This is why I also make sure my sons pitch in to do housework too. I'm raising someone's husband and father, so it's on me (and my husband) to ensure our sons understand a woman is not their bangmaid. I think most of it comes from their homelife, they were never expected to do housework, and they saw mom doing everything while dad sat back like a king. And mom never stood up for herself and just tolerated poor treatment for years. So now this man has no idea how to be a good partner to his wife.

If both of you live there, then both of you are responsible for cleaning. If a woman is a SAHM, of course she'll do more housework, since she doesn't work outside the home. But even in those cases, that doesn't mean the man should just make messes for her to clean up after him, or not assist when he's off. The M in SAHM stands for mom, not maid. In my home, sometimes I do way more housework than my husband. Sometimes he does way more than me. But we also split household chores based on what wome…

I say the same thing. All women are beautiful without makeup. Imo that industry sells expensive lies to women, that they need makeup for whatever reasons. Not to mention the time it takes to put it on each day. And before any women come at me, it's your money you can buy makeup all you want. I'm just giving my opinion here. But you're beautiful without it. I've only worn makeup once in my entire life. My friend kept nagging me about how I should try it out, I would like it, blah blah. So I went …

I think you should take a break from those RP male spaces. They don't represent men as a whole, and they are such a small minority. It just doesn't seem that way because they're so vocal about it. Do any of the men you know irl think that way? All the men I know irl are RP conservative and they never say those things about any woman. I'm pretty much everything those types of men hate: over 40, tattoos, had kids already, overweight (I'm also very happily married). I've never come across any poor …

On PPD, I've never seen that. I've seen men spew hate all over unchecked. It's interesting that whenever anything is said here about a man, even when both genders are included, the statement that was against men always gets picked out. Everything else is ignored. Neither gender ever wants to take accountability for their own.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/07/24 08:57 PM

The people I know irl? Both genders would tell their friend that. I would tell my friend that if she needed to hear it. Maybe the circle of women I am a part of are more accountable for ourselves. Idk. But it's not a competition as to who sucks at calling out the other more. Both genders suck at it really.

Both genders do a crap job of calling out poor behavior from their own. Not just women, but men too. I know here in PPD it's mostly men who dislike women, but yes it's men too who refuse to call out poor behavior in other men. Women don't call out other women for poor behavior, or acting entitled/childish, or when she's obviously wrong in the relationship. Many women will blame the men for relationship problems, even when it's the woman who is causing these issues. Men don't call out other men f…

Because people are too sensitive and always want to shame others for their preferences. If the person isn't being rude about it, Idk why it matters what preferences they have. Men and women get overly offended over what another person's preferences are. They take it so personally, like this stranger was talking about them directly. Before I got married, I fit a lot of things that many men would not like. But I never got offended because who cares? I want someone who wants a woman like me. I don'…

Do you value this friendship more or your soon to be marriage more? You're gonna have to be direct and cut this friendship for the sake of your fiance. How would you feel if he had a female friend like this? You should have told him right away that you're engaged. If he was truly your plutonic friend, he would respect that and either back off, or be ok with just being friends with you. This guy tried to treat you like a fling and now is coming back because he thinks you're still single. You need…

Both of you may be living outside your means. If money is tight right now, it may be a good idea to hold off on trips, gaming controllers, and golf clubs. These types of things can wait until you're out of school and are in a better position. If bills are more with you living there, trips to Africa/Europe and a $300 non essential item shouldn't be necessary right now. He wants to pay the bills and take care of you. So I would suggest for you to pay for other things. Essential things. Cover the f…

You posted this prior and got some really good suggestions. There comes a time where we have to take charge of our own life, and decide what we will put up with, or not put up with. What did he say when you spoke to him about how you're feeling about this situation? What solutions did you and he come up with to ensure this will not continue after marriage? If you and him plan on building your own home after marriage, the only thing is for you to just avoid her until he's out of there. If you con…

For real lol. These men all whine and complain as to why they're single and not getting any sex. It's very rare to see a man on PPD that is able to see our side of things too. Who wants to have sex with a man who doesn't see anything from a woman's pov.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/07/24 10:57 PM

Don't be obtuse. No, like dismissing her feelings, cursing at her, insulting her, making "jokes" about how her body looks when she does have sex with him, picking his friends over her. I can go on and on. We cannot even get turned on when the man is being like that. Maybe it's different for men? But if he's behaving like a jerk, she should either address it or leave him. And if you're married, and your husband is a great man, there's nothing wrong with giving him some even if you're not in the m…

You're doing the right thing. Hold firm and do not live with a man before you're engaged (at minimum). Men who push to live together before marriage only do so because they don't want to actually get married. They just want to live like they're married but without the commitment. If you live with him now, it'll take away his motivation to marry you. And no, you're not going to have a lot of engagements. He's trying to manipulate you, don't fall for it. Men and women who advocate cheating for any reason lack integrity. There's no reason to cheat on your spouse. You either try to work it out or you leave. If your wife isn't having sex with you, maybe try talking to her to see if there's an issue before you just go out and break your vows. Maybe it's medical or mental issues. Maybe its because she's exhausted because you leave all housework for her. Maybe it's because she's over you and doesn't want sex with you anymore. You won't know unless you…

His personality first--but not only in the way he treats me. I also look at the way he treats others, such as women who aren't conventionally attractive, or people who cannot do anything for him, or disabled/elderly. I look for men who do not insult people for their outward appearance or life circumstances that are beyond their control. He should be humble and kind, but not afraid to defend himself (verbally, not physically). I don't want a pushover man. I also look at how he handles his emotion…

Boys get angry. Men self reflect and take responsibility for themselves. And they get their facts correct if they're going to say things about the other gender. And LOL at your statement, because I don't call myself a feminist at all. I personally believe feminism is poison to women. I'm just a human. Who happens to be a woman too and lived my whole life as a woman. Thank goodness I'm around true men irl. I guess all we can do moving forward is to raise our sons better so they don't hate women, …

I'm not a feminist nor a liberal so I just want to put that out there before I say anything. But no. Women have not always been able to vote. If you're in the US, there's no way you don't know that. Married women couldn't even have their own credit card or bank account here until sometime in the 1970s. Marital rape only became illegal in all states since the 1990s. Even now, in 2024, there are religious groups here in the US that encourage men to beat their wife if she "misbehaves". This isn't a…

RP women and RP men are different too. RP women are looking for monogamy and commitment. RP men are only looking for sleeping with multiple women, but not being honest with them (not all RP men, but many). So that's where it differs from what you're talking about. RP men have "plates", not even women. But you can't change people's minds. Some people have a view of certain lifestyles (whether right or wrong), if it doesn't fit their definition of normal. I'm in a marriage that many people don't a…

I really hope you'll reconsider this. My husband was my strength during that time, and I ended up needing an emergency csection during my last pregnancy. If he wasn't there with me the whole time, I would've been panicked. Your husband doesn't have to be down where the action is. He can sit near the upper half of your body, rub your head, give you encouragement, feed you ice chips, or whatever else you need. I just wonder why you don't want him seeing you give birth. Of course, it's your decisio…

You're not even married yet and he's doing this. Cut your losses now before you get married, have kids, then he'll have physical affairs while you're home with the kids. I'm very strict in what I consider cheating. To me, cheating isn't just physical. It's also if I caught my husband talking to other women, sneaking on dating sites, kissing another woman. If I'm able to stay 100% faithful to my husband, then he should be able to stay 100% faithful to me. No matter what issues we have in our marr…

Why does it matter if redpill supports it? Just live your life the way you want and who cares if some RP stranger approves or not. Personally Idc if people are poly, as long as everyone in the relationship knows this, and no one's being lied to. It's not for me tho, I expect monogamy. But other consenting adults can live how they want.

Most divorced women do not get alimony. Where do you hear that every woman always gets alimony? When I read that stuff, it makes me lol. And usually the men who complain about women taking half their wealth don't even have wealth at all. If a woman gives up her career to be a SAHM, she should get alimony. The problem with so many men who think like this is that they would be ok with leaving the woman who gave up her own career to work inside the home with nothing. As a side note, most no fault d…

Thanks for saying that. I think I'm much older than many people here on PP (I'm in my 40s), so my views on men/women are different than many here. I think porn ruins men and gives them unreasonable expectations of what makes women happy, and what our genitals should look like (women irl do not anal bleach, that's only in porn). We don't like to be pounded. We need foreplay, we need oral sex done to us too. We need a man to know our anatomy, just like we should for men. And a man should be able t…

Idky men think we want these huge monster dicks. Big dicks hurt. And it's about using your mouth/tongue more than your dick, since many women cannot orgasm from piv sex alone. As long as the tongue got good motion, Idc if he's packing 3 inches lol. Looks are somewhat important to me, you gotta be attracted to your partner. I care more about how he treats me than his appearance. But appearance does not equal hygiene. No matter what your physical looks are, you gotta take care of yourself. I'm hap…

First find out the reason your partner doesn't want sex. I'm a woman so I can only speak from a woman's pov. Maybe sex is starting to hurt her, maybe she's developing a mental illness and has sudden low lidibo (that can happen to men too), maybe she's so stressed over external things. Sometimes it's hard to get in the mood if your work is stressing you out, I'm sure it's the same for men. Some women and men do not have good parents, or have abusive parents. But once we grow up, we know what's correct respectful behavior and what's not. We know if we're treating our partner like crap or not. It should not be just on the women all the time. Men should also be self aware. I understand you're not redpill, but true redpill is about taking responsibility for yourself. My husband is redpill conservative, he treats me like a queen. He's aware of his behaviors towards me. I have to worry about other things as a woman. Both genders have it difficult in certain ways. But for me and other women I know irl, the only "heavy lifting" we expect from men is to be kind and love us, treat us as a partner. But I realize many women expect unreasonable things from men. Nothing wrong with dating multiple women as long as you're honest with them.

I'm just gonna say it... Women who are ok with that deserve what they get. I'm dumbfounded this actually works in real life. Why wouldn't a woman want a "normal" man or a man who will respect her to wait until she's ready for sex. If a man acted like he could discard me at any time or made me feel like an option, I would just let him go. I am confused as to why a woman would be happy feeling like an option. I want to know I'm his one and only, and the woman he loves and values. It's one thing to…

I would never want a man with a high body count. In fact, I never would want a man who has sex outside of a committed relationship. Me and all the women I know irl want men with very low count. I would rather have a man who isn't very experienced than one that's been with any woman who'll let him hit it. Men with high counts don't value love and intimacy, since they've gotten so much cooch. The actual woman it's attached to doesn't matter to him. Why would he be faithful to me if he can get so m…

No, the low bar for men is the fact that too many women put up with nonsense and don't value themselves enough to set higher standards. If a man is treating you like he doesn't care or value you, stop tolerating it. For example, you want a man to marry you. So why the hell would you live with him or have kids with him before marriage? That takes away his motivation to marry you. If you don't want marriage, then whatever. If he thinks you tricked him because you're setting boundaries and not allowing yourself to be played/strung along, then he can think that. You're 23, you will find a man who wants to marry you and will be proud to show you off to his family. This guy is playing games. Next relationship, be upfront with what you're looking for. You don't want to be in a relationship, or worse yet a marriage, where you're miserable because you're keeping your wants in. Its ok to compromise on some things. But nev…

He hasn't even told his family about you? That's a huge red banner hitting you right in your face. Personally, if my husband didn't tell his family about me within 4 months of dating, I would've broken it off. I refuse to be a man's secret. I would think he has a partner already or is ashamed of me for some reason or is just using me for sex/cooking/caring for him. You have a couple problems here. I felt like you until I met my husband. Yes there are many men who are using you, or will leave you when a better (to them) woman comes along, or lack integrity to be faithful. But there are also still some very good men out there. There are still a lot of men who are kind, loving, faithful, and want a woman to share his life with. In my personal experience with friends like this, it's that they were jealous they were single and I was not. Or they had really crappy boyfriends and didn't want to see anyone else happy. They are miserable and instead of working on themselves to find someone, or setting higher standards for men, they try to bring you down too. Not that they necessarily want that man. When a man treats you like an option, remove yourself from his life. Why would you put up with this? Feminists tell women that we have to accept being a FWB and being used for sex, that we're demanding and unreasonable if we want marriage. A HVM would show you that he wants you in his life, he would make steps towards moving the relationship forward, he wouldn't be stringing you along as FWB. Same here OP. I'm about 30lbs overweight right now. My husband does not mind and never says anything, but it bothers me. I actually lost about 15lbs in the past 2 months only by intermittent fasting and doing calisthenics. It's good for women to have some muscle mass too. A traditional man would not belittle a woman. Traditional men value and appreciate women and the balance we bring to their lives. Take this as a lesson and apply it to your next relationship. And in the future, don't shit test men. No one likes that. Just go slow with him and vet him while dating before you have sex and move in with him. You could also just elope then have a larger ceremony later on for friends and family. Imo, all that matters is getting married. When I married my husband, we got married at a public park by a nonreligious officiant (it was so inexpensive). We had only our closest friends and our kids there. If you live with a man before marriage, it will take away his motivation to marry you. When he comes with the ring, then that would be the appropriate time to move in with him. I'm going to be very blunt with you here. You are very overbearing and intrusive. That would piss anyone off and make them shut down. If it were reversed and a man was just dropping over your house and refusing to leave, that would be terrifying. I think you really need to consider therapy for this. This type of needy behavior will lead to worse issues with men down the road-because at some point this man will have enough and tell you it's over. If a woman wants to get married, then they shouldn't have kids nor live with a man until they are married. And they shouldn't do any wifely duties for him until married (not including sex, since you need to testdrive before marriage, lol). If you do, you will take away his motivation to marry you. When I met my now husband, I made it clear we would not have a kid or live together until marriage. I did not pack his lunch for work or do his laundry until we were engaged. There are many men who are…

And this is one type of abusive man. Men like this would take advantage of women because they have "daddy issues" or whatever. I've met men like this, they will use your abusive past against you, or say you're making excuses. Ok, you don't like women and can't believe some of us have abusive backgrounds that affect our lives. I get it. The OP asked a question to women, I as a woman answered it. If you don't like my answer, or you cannot get your hateful mind to understand that, well too bad.

A lot of women who date "bad boys" come from abusive, neglectful homes. Many didn't have strong male role models to show them what a real man is supposed to be. So when she grows up and starts dating, she goes for the type she's been exposed to her whole life. She doesn't know what normal is, or what it means to be treated nicely by a man. Personal story time. I come from a very abusive family of origin. I was also attracted to bad boy types. Whenever I met a good dude, I thought he had ulterior…

how did you get this way? Like, what happened in your life to make you dislike women so much? I don't get it. This whole PP sub has devolved into hating women. Maybe take a look at yourselves if you're attracting crappy women. Ladies, this is why you need to vet carefully. Do not just move in with a man until you're fully sure he loves you and isn't secretly resentful of you, or trying to bully you into anything, or lacks the integrity to be faithful. This is the type of man you get when you mov…

I come from an abusive family of origin and had no frame of reference for what was normal or abnormal in a relationship. I used to feel like things just happened to me and that I had no control over my life to make things go the way I wanted. That kinda sounds like you. You are wishy washy and seem to have difficulty figuring out what you want. I'm not saying that in a bad way to you, I'm basing it off your comment here. Redpill: men need to be more masculine and do a better job at being providers/protectors, take charge, be dominant (NOT controlling or domineering). Women need to be more feminine, stop trying to act like men, and do a better job at taking care of their man. If you want to find a good man or woman, then you need to be the type of person they want to be with. High body counts/promiscuity are gross for both genders. Men and women should not have sex with random people. Your body should be given to…

But do majority of men really care about decorating? That's usually something women care about. None of the men I know irl, including my husband, couldn't care less what decor is in the home. They leave it up to the wives to do what they want. Whenever I ask my husband about a piece of artwork to hang or what color decor, he's like "whatever you think looks best". (nothing wrong with a man who cares about decor, Ijs most men do not)

Diaphragm. It's a pain to put in each time, but it's non hormonal. You just have to remember to put the spermicide on it each time. And if you lose or gain weight, you need to be refitted. Once it's in, you don't feel it at all, neither would he. I think you have to leave it in for a certain amount of time after sex, but it's really easy to remove too. I suspect you'll get a variety of answers since the meaning of "provider" is different from person to person. Imo, a man being a provider, or wanting to be one, comes from him. It's because he loves his family and wants to provide for them. However, nowadays, it's very difficult for a man to be the sole provider. The families I know irl where the wife stays home have to strictly budge their finances and don't have much money left over for extras. For me, a provider is a man who goes to work ever…

You just posted this on RedPillWives then got snarky with the person who responded to you. I wonder what the purpose of this question is tbh. Men are all different it doesn't matter if they're RP'd or not. If yours isn't going down on you then that's a discussion for you to have with him. If we all said yes, then what difference does it make to you?

Yeah I was about to say something similar. OP, using psychological tricks is wrong on so many levels. What if he was doing that to you to get you to put out more or submit to him the way he wants? Either have a direct, serious discussion with him or break up and find a man who's more in line with your views on spending. But to use mental manipulation is crappy.

It depends on the woman. I have never dated a man who made more money than me. In fact, my husband makes less than me by about $20,000/year. I don't care because we're married and it's joint money anyway so it doesn't matter who makes more or less. But some women do care. There are also men who feel insulted if the woman makes more money and will try to mistreat her and knock her down a few pegs because he feels some type of way. I think that's the main reason why many women look for men with hi…

Sexual pleasure is supposed to go both ways and both people in the relationship should be satisfied. Of course there will be times you're not really in the mood and will give him some to make him happy. But for the most part, you should be getting off too. You're very young and many men your age are not looking for anything serious. Even at my age (40s) it's very hard. Before I met my husband, I had to weed out a lot of crappy men. Young men who want serious relationships are out there, you just have to keep searching and be careful. And you don't need to cook/clean for a man to get him to commit. Exactly. Men want this submissive, feminine woman but are not willing to do their role as protector/provider. Us being RP'd doesn't mean we just give our caring and submissiveness to anyone just because they happen to be a man. And RP women still have our opinions and express them freely to our husbands, it's not like we're not allowed to ever talk again. You can still be opinionated, it's just the way to express it to your man that's different. The woman shouldn't just say it anyway she wants and be disrespectful. And this is why they cannot get a girlfriend. Equating rape and abuse with a man not being entitled to any woman he wants is disgusting. Quick story-my husband is a different race than I am. My family would make slick jokes about him and mention stereotypes about his race around me, despite me asking them nicely to stop. W…

Does he get you off or even care to get you off? Does he do anything with the children that you both brought into this world? Just because he works and you stay home, doesn't absolve him from being a dad. Do you ever get a few minutes break from the kids so you can unwind? I agree with this-how he reacts to you saying something will tell you all you need to know. If he doesn't take you seriously, or tries to put it on you, saying you're jealous/insecure, he's showing you who he is. Also, I want to say this....when I first married my now ex husband, there was a woman at his job that did very similar things to what you say this woman does. But usually, you would talk to the woman leading up to the date, no? You don't just make a date then have no communication until the date night. I didn't read anyone here saying women should be treated like "pretty little princesses". We are simply tired of men's disrespect. We want men to treat us with respect and value what we bring to the relationship. If you're meeting only women who want to be treated like princesses and only want free dinners, then perhaps you should evaluate why you're only meeting that type of woman. A man paying for a date isn't having things handed to me, he's showing me he's a leader and provider and not a lib…

Think of all the things us women need to think about/worry about when going on dates. Personally, I think the man should pay because it shows me that he's a leader/provider (although that's not always a given). It's not like the woman is asking him to buy her groceries or pay her bills, it's a first date that shouldn't break the bank on his end. Some women use men for a free meal, and there's men that use the first date to try to get laid. Both genders have bad people. Talking to the person lead…

So maybe the man should do his own vetting too and make sure he's going on a date with a non feminist woman. He needs to do his own due diligence and ensure he's paying for a traditional woman, one who isn't using him for a free meal and will appreciate him paying. That's on yall, not us, It's a huge turn off for a man to expect the woman to pay for the first few dates, especially since he's the one who asked her. What's up with these men on this board? I know these ain't women talking like this…

Firstly, women are not "girls". We are adult women, girls are under 18 years old. I'm guessing you're a feminist man by your responses. There's nothing wrong with the man paying for the date, and everything wrong with asking the woman to pay for her share. Before I got married, the type of men I dated, even when we both realized on the first date we were not compatible, he always paid for me. OP, I will echo what others have said and tell you this is a red flag. IMO, men and women cannot be just friends. Of course there are exceptions, like if they grew up together or something like that. My husband's only female "friends" are the wives of his male friends and my friends. He's excluding you when they spend time together, it doesn't matter if it's really her excluding you, he's the one committed to you not her. I'm in the US and I don't think it's really common to have separate finances (I could be wrong tho). Personally, I believe once you're married, all funds should be joint. It's how my husband and I do it, and it's how every married couple we know does it. I wouldn't be ok with my husband offering me half of a down payment for something. It's both of our money. Pharmacy is a great choice because you can also find remote work. My friend's sister in law is a pharmacist and she works for a major pharmaceutical company. Many dating sites that are for traditional/old fashioned people have been taken over by LV men who only want a fling or FWB situation, so you gotta be careful. I agree with you. Emotional labor was indeed originally for service workers, but unfortunately the feminists took the word and now use it for anything nice a woman wants to do for her man. They change the meaning of words all the time to fit their narrative (or whatever they're trying to do). For a long time, I didn't even understand the meaning of emotional labor in the way feminists define it. I really don't see how taking care of your man is "emotional labor".

You came to the right place to ask this question. Read thru every answer then make several lists. Make a must have list, a good to have list, and a will not tolerate list. The most important thing is when a man shows you who he is, believe him, whether it's good or bad. And just know that you cannot change a man, no matter how loving or nice you are to him. No worries lol. I get being sensitive to it. That person made a similar comment to me. But I don't care what some feminist liberal thinks of me. They are bitter because deep down inside they wish they had a good man who takes care of them, but they can't find one due to their attitudes. So they bash women who are happily married instead. They fail to realize they can have a good man too if they would stop being so hateful.

OP, don't look at it as making the man wait. Frame it as waiting until you're ready. Often times, (some) men will try to guilt you or pressure you for sex, or get mad that you're making them wait. If a man truly likes you for more than sex, he won't mind waiting until you're ready to take it there. IMO, there's no way or need to gracefully communicate you're not ready for sex right away. I strongly believe that person is a feminist or some liberal. They have made several comments like this. Usually women like this are not married, or if they are, they are married to men who expect the woman to act like men. To them, it's equality to be like the man. They think it's bad to take care of your man, and they secretly wonder why they can't find a good man.

I wanted to get an answer from men so I actually just asked my (conservative, old fashioned) husband and son this question and they both said it doesn't really matter either way. I wish I would've thought this way when I was young. Many women think we can fix these types of men, but they have to have the motivation to seek help on their own. We cannot fix them, nor should we try. Also, many times men with untreated mental illness will use it as an excuse to control the woman. Young women (and men) have been poisoned by this feminism/equality stuff that tells women we need to be like men and pay for dates too. If someone don't like your preferences, then they don't have to date you. My turnoffs in men..... Untreated mental illness the man doesn't make as much money as me/doesn't own what I own (car, house) whines about his life but won't take the steps to fix it too far right/too far left won't pay for the first dat…

OP, I just want to tell you to hang in there. I'm a woman and it's so refreshing to hear that a man doesn't just want casual sex and actually wants a relationship. Believe me, there are women out there who are your age that will also greatly appreciate your mindset. As a woman who dated men (now married), it's hard to find a man who wants a serious relationship. I'm sure it's that way for other genders as well. Sorry I don't have much advice, but keep hanging in there and never change who you ar…

But do you think it would be insulting to a man who truly wants to be platonic friends with a woman? If I meet you as a friend, and you never lead with the fact you're interested in me, then I should be able to take you at your unspoken word that you are truly my friend, the same way I would do for my same gender friends. It's so shitty to make any one, of any gender, think you're their friend but really have ulterior motives. Why only try to get with me after I'm heartbroken over my break up? W…

I understand what you're saying. But it's not right to trick someone, make them think you're their plutonic friend when you're waiting for just the right moment to "smash it". At least lead with that and give me a choice to have casual sex with you or not. Don't wait for me to break up with my boyfriend, being vulnerable/hurt, then try to move in. That actually hurts more than a romantic relationship ending. If a man or trans man (forgive me if I didn't use the correct term) can't even think rig…

Disclaimer: this is only my experience/beliefs. I'm not saying all man/woman friendships are this way. I really don't think truly platonic friendships are common or even possible between a straight man and a woman. I've had male friends over the years who were only my friend to try to have sex with me, waiting for me to break up with whoever I was dating at that time. They didn't even want to date me, they just wanted sex. That hurt my feelings so much because I truly thought they were my friend…

I feel for you and am in the same situation. I'm now 29 weeks pregnant with my 4th, high risk with pre-eclampsia and I hurt all the time. I work from home fulltime so I'm always here. My hubby works in the office with a rough commute. He has been the best, coming home and doing most of the chores without me asking. But I feel horrible when he has to. He tells me don't worry about it because I'm pregnant with his kid so he wants to do these things. I feel like a bad wife to him. I only have energ…
