You're overthinking it and know that, so the only solution is practice. Don't assume the worst reaction possible. Not being authentic will cause more problems in the long run. Do you really want to be with someone who assumes you always have ulterior motives? Is the respect there or not? After a year, it should be pretty obvious. Compliments on physical appearance (especially if they made effort in their appearance) are usually nice in general, as long as it's genuine. Just don't overdo it. 10x …

It's amazing when everything is going great, but that's not the reality for a lot of people. Love takes mutual, daily effort. Persistence and growth. Not everyone is capable of that, but plenty will lie (even to themselves) about what they can offer and sustain. Let's not over-romanticize it. The dream is to find something permanent, though reality often isn't so simple. Compatibility evolves over time. Decentering isn't based on completely cutting off all chances of finding a partner. It's simp…

So you had no responsibility in this outcome? Everyone just turned away and cut you out, spontaneously? It doesn't sound so simple.

The reality is that some women aren’t smart enough to know what’s good for them or they just don’t care Are you saying you know what's best for them, instead? All young people, regardless of gender, can be naive. They're still learning about their own needs and that's often through lived experience. It has little to do with overall intelligence. When older men go after young women (sometimes the youngest they can get away with, legally), they also use the excuse that "she's a grown woman and kno…

It's a difference of philosophy. I believe we all have intrinsic value that isn't determined by our usefulness to others. Kindness shouldn't be reserved for only those who fall into a specific set of parameters. It goes beyond species and I help where I can, regardless, knowing my effort won't necessarily be returned.

Context really matters here. Time reveals whether the affection is genuine or false intimacy was built up, prematurely. Such as in the case of wanting quick or easy sex or other resources. Actions need to align with words. Everyone has the desire to be unique or special to someone, deep down. There's no shame in that! However, it's good to remember that compatibility is possible with multiple people. Meaning, don't settle for subpar treatment or believe it'll be impossible to find love of the sa…

Wow, that's not enjoyment. She's going into fawn mode (fight, flight, freeze, or fawn), trying to appease you. Probably even experiencing some dissociation, because she feels powerless in the situation. Somehow you've convinced yourself that's love, but coercion will have an insidious effect on the relationship, longterm.

It becomes so crucial to learn how to read body language accurately and be able to understand the true meaning behind a person's words, rhetorical analysis. A lot of which is learned through lived experience, because true honesty and transparency can be difficult to find. It takes time and shared experiences to learn a person's real intentions. Drawing boundaries can be seen as a lack of interest at the beginning, especially, but a stranger isn't entitled to automatic trust and vulnerability. A …

Tell her what you said here. You're not ready for a committed relationship. The kindest thing you can do is to be honest with her and to tell her ASAP. Don't drag this out. There's no way to get around hurting her and her reaction isn't your responsibility. You're not a hostage, nor are you her savior. Get the idea of having a "break" and returning back to her out of your head, though. That mostly likely won't happen. She'll be incredibly hurt, but it's the best thing for both of you, if you're …

So what's plan? You'll wear her down over time and make her break her own boundaries? Then she could end up resenting you for the coercion. How does this end well? It's a big incompatibility. You should be dating someone who already shares the same opinion on sex, not be trying to mold her into what you think is acceptable.

You could just stop the mental gymnastics and ask her? What did you talk about in your conversations? Don't frame her as a gold digger when you're the one insisting on going to all these expensive places. See if she'll spend time with you doing something more casual, like a walk or picnic.

I doubt she can live up to the fantasy image you have of her in your head. She doesn't want to be put on a pedestal, she wants you to value her as an equal. Do you actually care about her as a person, or you just dream of how she'll raise your own social status if she's with you?

Isn't that exactly what your claims would be made of, as well? There are no well-researched statistics for blanket statements.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
