I agree, but I've known this girl for quite some time (8 years) and I'm not saying she is a unicorn by any means, but she is a quality girl who thinks things through. Also, he took her virginity.

I personally believe he holds animosity towards her because she doesn't put as much into the relationship. She expects him to do things w/o telling him and he spends quite a bit more money on the relationship. He is a high value dude, he could easily get girls if he tried, but he is still invested in the narrative of 'love.' He lifts, is funny, and extremely social. Last he told me he plans on marrying this girl, but she is definitely not investing as much time, energy or peace of mind as he is.

OP is actually very very correct. I had a buddy that hooked up with a mutual friend of ours and she accused him of rape despite the fact that they didn't do anything sexually. Hello, gentlemen. I'm in college right now and have lost a sense of purpose (for the most part). I'm currently on ADD meds along with an SSRI and Xanax for panic attacks.
