Well, looking at your replies to other posts..it seems you think women have no agency. It's no wonder you got raped, you're pretty annoying.

I recommend Augusta Georgia A lot of blacks there, more than whites.

sexual assault / harassment Men do police each other for actual sexual assault. We just don't consider sexual harassment to be "anything that offends any woman".

Most guys are tall enough for most women since most women only care about "as long as he's taller than me in heels". Heels add 4 inches making the average girl 5'8. The average guy, at 5'9 is only just taller than the average girl in heels.

I think the major whole in your argument is the fact that women are mostly valued for their appearance. that's not value, that's simple objectification. Why not both? Men will spend lots of hard earned money on women who look good, if that doesn't make women valuable I don't know what does.

Plenty of shows and commercials make men look like absolute idiots who wouldn't be able to tie their laces without their strong, level headed and responsible wife. Even in the big bang theory, all the male characters are absolute betas without an once of masculinity.

If you see misogyny in EVERYTHING, the problem is you and your victim complex.

I'll repeat this again, taking the vows at their dictionary meaning is asinine, they are just traditional phrases that are part of the ceremony. If we are to take them literally, then I should expect my future wife to stay with me even if I become physically abusive and start cooking, using, and dealing meth.

Yes, physical attraction is still a thing. Yes, despite it being 2018

As I said, it's silly to take vows at their dictionary meanings. If two months into the marriage I decide I will move away to a new house by myself and only visit 2 days out of the week, am I breaking any vows? Did I mention in my vows that I will be physically present more often than not?

Sure, but my argument is not reliant on a statistic. Even if only 20 % end in divorce, the argument would still stand.

It's close enough to %50 that my argument isn't any weaker.

But we also have better knowledge of how weight loss works and nutrition labels which didn't always exist. It's the easier to be lean now than any time else in history.

Yes it is fair to expect him to remain faithful, because that's how marriage works. Is it really? 50 % end in divorce in the West.

And so is does doubling in size. She is increasing her risks of dying early, how is that cherishing her husband? How is disregarding her own attractiveness to her husband "cherishing" him?

Which of the vows does it break? If you want to take it literally, then no the vows are not broken. But so is one partner being abusive to another, what vows does that break? IMO vows are just phrases you traditionally say but are not meant to be literal. The way I see it is she made herself look hideous, which shows me that she is not committed to her husband. When I commit to a woman, I want to look even better for her because she will be my life partner. If anything, I will take my looks and …

A guy who immediately goes to find side women as soon as the wife puts on weight is flakey af and not husband material. 130 pounds takes a long time to gain. He didn't cheat "as soon" as she gained weight. Weight gain happens, particularly as you age, get complacent, and life gets more demanding with kids and careers. It's one of those things that can easily get pushed on the back burner and forgotten. Absolutely not, weight gain happens when you eat too much. Job/stress/children/mental illness …
