A nicely balanced article. People choose to stay single out of respect for themselves and their time.

Luckily for us, straight women need straight men just as much as we need them, and in fact probably more so, as they far more often want kids. Women need to do better to spend time with us. So, kindly, go fuck yourself Kate.

Bias sucks. I’m really sorry you’re dealing with this nonsense. They don’t deserve your time; write them off if you can

Yeah I’m the same boat. We need independence and peace. Too much of our lives revolve around them.

This is a false equivalence. Women both need to take care of children like men do, and carry them. This shouldn’t be a controversial position.

Men do not have the same level of responsibility as women in raising a child. I support the men’s rights movement wholeheartedly, but having to carry in my body a dead child is an experience I will never have. We don’t have the same reproductive rights, but in this case I think the equivalence is misplaced. The government is making decisions about women’s bodies in ways most of have likely not experienced. Not saying we have it good in this area, but after Roe many women have it worse.

The human trafficking card, of course I should have thought of that. Why stop at PTSD when you can claim nonsense like being forced against your will to plunge a blade 3.5” into someone’s aorta by mysterious sex ring operators. Waiting for the followup: demonic sex cult required human sacrifice; and the priest that forced her to carry out such a heinous crime was a white man after her goodies.

Predicting, “Boyfriend sexually assaulted her. She stabbed him because she had been abused by men in the past, and has PTSD.” Media will have a conniption trying to figure out whether being murdered while black outweighs the fact that he is a cis man and women need to “punch up”.

Yeah this piece is kind of insane. There are something like 200M men in the US. Literally 4 voted for RvW to be repealed (and 1 woman). Those guys are dicks. We hate those guys. We’re not them, just because we may look like them. That discriminating against a group on the basis of appearance is wrong is obvious in the case of people of color and women, and not for light skinned men, and that fact is deeply disturbing.

The fear of men actually standing up for their emotional wellbeing absolutely terrifies women. It’s amazing, given how much emphasis they place on the value of emotional health.

The pro-women sexism in crime needs to end. We either have a fair justice system or a no justice system.

They absolutely can’t. They don’t like to admit it, but they objectify men as stoic providers. They see us as objects.

TL;DR: this survey treats the man’s income as the woman’s when calculating her income “drop”. It is reinforcing the male wage slave mentality. Explanation: They measure household income. If the man was making the majority of income, supporting his wife, all they’re measuring is the fact that wages rise over time. “An individual’s economic circumstances in each year is measured in terms of the equivalized household net income of the household to which the individual belongs. Net income is the sum…
