They all more or less said, it’s a claim that you can make but it takes a repeated pattern of not looking for a job and during that period I’d likely have to pay alimony if she lost her job due to a layoff, which is how this would play out. I would end up getting stuck with years of payments before a court would slap her with the claim. One of them said that willful underemployment is really only applied to “deadbeat dads” and has not seen it too much with moms.	/r/Divorce_Men	22/04/23 11:22 AM
1	Feeling Trapped This is my current first option, but I have to be prepared for everything and it seems like she is too. I knew it would suck, but I am surprised at how badly it would. I picked a lawyer and am having her monitor for a filing. I’ve offered counseling and she said yes and at least says she loves me. 1	Feeling Trapped Sorry if my message was unclear. One recused, the other three gave me more or less the story I noted below. Of the three I’m leaning toward one of them and will sign a retainer so she can monitor filings. We live together and she cannot file in another state unless she establishes prolonged residency so I think we’re ok on that front unless she moves.	/r/Divorce_Men	21/04/23 04:33 PM
