That is not entirely true. She would also compare me with all the other men that she did not have previously, like "look, he bought her that, he most really love her" etc etc.

Apparently there is the notion of libertarian conservatism to describe that philosophy, which probably appeals most to me too. I have been watching some Thomas Sowell interviews and I have been enjoying them a lot.

It is true, you cannot never overcompensate. I think the problem lies in the fact that women see the relationship as something that needs to be constantly evolving into something better. She can have the time of her life with you one day, but if you do not repeat/better that in the future, it becomes a "problem", like "remember how you used to excite me the first days of getting to know you? Well I don't have that anymore from you.." Could it be that we, well, grew accustomed to one another?!

This is spot on. It is always about stimulation via a fancier vacation, a journey to a more exotic country, a new hobby, more items, the list is endless, and the desire to be entertained is insatiable.

I do a lot of push-ups every week, decline ones, and I would count as a failure the point where I cannot bring myself to do another one, either by pausing for a bit or inevitably breaking form. Although you should obviously keep good form, and breaking form does count like a mini-failure, do not put a lot of focus on it, because in the end it is the total load that matters. Even you break a bit of form half-way through, that would be something like super-setting, because you would fail the diffi…

Yes I can relate, but I don't have any advice to give you, I actually quit a job mostly because of that and I had 2-3 weeks of PTSD due to her maniac laughter (think Kamala Harris but higher pitch).

Its longevity, and it is kind of a collector's item too. Also, I think that they are hard to manufacture, the heads in particular, so I appreciate the craft all the more so. It is cool to own an item that will basically outlive you :)

Thanks! I would suggest to post in r/wicked_edge and r/Wetshaving at some point (if you have not done so already). Also, an all stainless steel razor (head+handle) would be dope!

A lot of stuff, but the tipping point was during 2019. I was at a crucial point in my career, with several important interviews lined up, and I tanked each and every one of them because I was placing more emphasis on satisfying my then gf with trips in order to limit her nagging. So, not only did she not support my goals, but she was putting more pressure on me as I was reaching them, eventually compromising my efforts. I bounced back during 2020, and I did not see a need to have nagging in my l…

I may be weird or something, but to me sex was always about the emotional connection with another person. Now that this connection has been largely compromised by feminism and whatnot, I see no difference between paying for sex and rubbing one out from a sensation/satisfaction point of view, because from any other point of view (sanitary, economical, and so on) the latter is vastly preferable. But, you know, to each their own.

What bothers me the most is the "trifecta of rage and humiliation" part, because tri-fecta involves t(h)ree things, not two. But the whole thing doesn't make any sense, so.. :P

The horrors that I have seen in my line of work in STEM Academia, you have guys driving themselves to the extreme, publishing in top conferences, amassing citations, and then there is the typical woman, she organizes a workshop in some conference about Feminism in STEM, publishes like 1/10 of what the guys have published (I wish I made this ratio up, it is probably even worse), boom, tenure.

Yeah dude, imagine having the Persian Empire ready to attack you, and you throwing resources in the "Gender Dysphoria in Persia" course in Athens instead of building an army of alpha males. Could it be that she (and women in general) is trying to get "harassment points" for future promotion? As in "Look how much I have been suffering, and I have been showing up at work regardless... bla... bla". Although, it might be just standard female behavior. It hasn't happened to me on the job, but in many other social contexts women with boyfriends may flirt with me, send me kisses via texts, and such, and if I bring this up later (call them out, privately) I am either a creep or I misunders…

Sounds good, my suggestion for the second season would be to bring her new boyfriend home to all live together, and focus on the struggle of the husband to adapt to the new situation. In the trailer, the bull hands a Gillette razor as a gift to a teary-eyed husband, and they hug soon after. Third season, the husband decides to transition.

So, I searched online a bit and it is said that in 2018 she did actually won a portion of her husband's $500,000 insurance (https://medium.com/chameleon/she-let-her-fianc%C3%A9-drown-and-got-away-with-it-9a3afc714993), while a NYT article tries to portray her as "misunderstood" and a "woman under pressure" (https://www.nytimes.com/2018/02/18/nyregion/kayak-killing-suspect-interview.html), if I am getting that right. Quite an incredible story, it is difficult to swallow that the world operates li…

Doctor in Computer Science here, and I can confirm (based on me any my colleagues). In fact, it seems very weird to me when people refer to me as Dr. Smth, especially in contexts where it doesn't have much to do with my profession. Usually it is retained for very formal introductions, like giving a talk to some conference and things like that, or when your expertise is required to talk about a topic in formal panels, so then it is "We discuss X, and we have a Dr. on X actually, Dr. Smth.".

Imho, the biggest thing to realize as early as possible is that there does not exist a "one". Certainly, one can be more or less compatible with other people, but one is not even fully compatible with himself on different days, it is only natural. So, sure, there exists "one" person with whom one would be most compatible, but even finding that person is a statistical impossibility. I had oneitis for a good 5-6 years in my 20s, everyone was telling me "dude, wtf" and I was like "but you don't und…

Avoid long-term gf, they will make you waste a lot of time and other resources, save/invest money, putting aside a little or more money every month consistently goes a long way, keep fit, work out and eat healthy. What has fascinated me the most is how much money I can save by eating healthy; massive amounts of oats, rice, whole-grain pasta, beans, broccoli, bananas, chicken breasts and so on are relatively cheap compared to sugars, candy, and other processed crap. If you date, keep your life ti…

I've said it here in the past once and I'll say it again, I am 35 and in my best shape ever, both physically and mentally. The financial stability is just an added bonus. Treat yourself nice, eat healthy, keep fit, avoid the drama, learn new things, and I think that any male can peak around 45.

Back in the 00s, when I was attending university, we had an online forum to discuss topics, and there was a girl that was changing her views from far left to far right and vice versa depending on who her boyfriend was. It was really funny to see.

But the truth is that I kept on texting her because I couldn't accept that she didn't admit to me who she really was. I can tell you with a certainty that there is no point in trying to convince a woman with facts or logic if she doesn't want to. Zero chance. I have struggled with this a good numbers of years in my life until I learned to let it go, so do not make the same mistakes I did.

It is mostly (if not everything) about nutrition and consistency. Naturally, you will never look like Ronnie Coleman, or even remotely close to that, but you will have a physique that you will be proud of and that other people will aspire to.

It is much more likely (if not certain) that they would get subsidies from the male league(s), as an example: https://www.quora.com/How-much-does-the-NBA-subsidize-the-WNBA In the end, it is taxpayers' money, and as long as the government can milk that cow, things will only be getting worse.

I love how their stories escalate though: "We were having a friendly lunch, and next thing I know I am going down on him. It felt odd to stop, so I just kept going. I was heartbroken afterwards." And the comments are like: "OMG how could he take advantage of you? The monster!"

Probably one of my best calls ever, found better employment (I started looking well before I quit), and I also found peace of mind. What is the best course of action in such a situation? The guy was lucky to make an escape, but what if a woman blocks you and/or starts following you around? Am I allowed to record with my phone? Should I call the police on the spot to make a record? Can I appease her somehow? These are questions that I never really had to think about, but one should be prepared.

I was watching Annihilation (2018) with my ex a couple of years ago, and there is a scene where Natalie Portman cheats on her husband while he is on a mission far away, and she said: "Men are terrible". After discussing this with her, apparently her "reasoning" was that the man she cheated her husband with took advantage of her "loneliness".
