Circumcision is done at birth as a tradition, both in Judaism and think Islam. That tradition was past to gentiles. In a judaochristian world this still persist although the meaning of it has been forgotten. God-Jesus Christ commanded it as a sign of our covenant to him with a vow to obey Him.
